It's been a long time since I last picked this series up (four years or so), but I had no trouble diving back into the tauntingly delicious and sinfully controlled relationship between co-workers, Ryan and Daniel.

What started out as a mutually beneficial BDSM arrangement has now developed into so much more, as these two men realise time and again just how compatible they are, in and out of the bedroom.

In this installment, the pair try some new scenes, testing Daniel's control in increasingly public settings, as he desperately tries (and succeeds) in earning Ryan's adoration, praise and approval.

I continue to love how in his head Daniel is and how Ryan has the magic touch in calming his mind and helping him soar, emotionally and physically.

The next installment scares me, but I'm in it now for the long haul!

Do I love these guys...? Much more than that..... I adore them!
Every step they take is just amazing....and I'm so thrilled they are growing closer and closer they spend more time with each other and not alone with scenes.

Daniel.....the thinker in this story....I love the progress in him. And Ryan 'gets' him.
Ryan's considerations are wonderful. I just love how he works and would like to look sometimes deeper in his mindful head.
Daniel wants to be everything for Ryan.....and Ryan.....thinks Daniel is more....much more.

It's getting highly sensual and erotic. The detailed way of putting this down is amazing.....
I absorbed every word in their scenes...almost impossible but it's getting stronger and steadier...

They are expanding their scene territory so the bubble they live in is getting somewhat bigger.

Another wonderful written story of Daniel and Ryan....I'm eager to get more...
It's put down in a innovative way...it's mindful, intimate and sincere and getting more and more steamy and imposing.... An absolute mustread!!

The glimp in part #8 makes me a bit angsty....please don't let their bubble explode....I will never recover...

Is it hot in here? Can someone pass this ginger a fan? Pretty please?

I couldn’t wait to get my greedy hands on this installment of the Daniel and Ryan series to see where they take their relationship next.

Where do they take it? They take it to the next level of pushing Daniel’s boundaries but always with Daniel’s want and permission as long and Ryan is the one doing the pushing.

I am not going to say much about what they do but I will say it was gorgeous to see Daniel accepting new ideas for scenes and being such a good boy for Ryan. Good lord and HOLYMOTHERFUCKINGSHITBALLS but this was so erotic, sensual and kinky. I loved it. Loved the fact that Daniel always wants to be good for Ryan, always wants to please Ryan and in pleasing Ryan, Daniel knows he’ll get everything that he wants. But Ryan is his and he is Ryan’s, only.
I will say they flirt with exhibitionism a bit and it’s hot.

I will say they continue with the power exchange and Daniel getting greedy and bossy is fucking sexy.

I will say as someone who has OCD Daniel is gorgeous with the power he gives up even when it takes him days to give it up and bless him for bringing his own sheets.

This series is a test of discipline for me in so many ways and I kind of fail because I don’t wait to read it once it’s sent to me. I can’t wait. I see how this relationship is evolving from a simple arrangement of two consenting adults who share a fondness for dominance and submission to one of pure partnership, romance and these two are on the road to the big four letter word.

And then, then I read the sneak from book 8 and have a large neon WTF? sign over my head because it seems a bit out of character for Daniel but I am sure he and Ryan will work it all out in and out of bed.

Daniel's sister figures out he's dating someone. The episode is pretty steamy, and I'm glad the relationship evolvement isn't lost as the series continues. In my opinion the everyday life of the couple could have benefitted from even more page time in these later instalments.

This installment was intense. Daniel goes outside of his comfort zone, but Ryan is there with him every step of the way. When they finally act on their desires, and actually go through with the scene, I was on the edge of my seat. The author managed to convey every desperate emotion Daniel had. The connection between them is better than ever. I can’t even begin to describe the intensity between them, the way Daniel was on the edge of too much, and how great the payoff was for both of them. I love the way they are continuing to evolve in both their relationship, and in their scenes.

Kinks explored in this book: Orgasm denial, edging, minimal voyeurism/exhibitionism.

One of the reasons why I wanted to read this book (aside from the fact that I love Daniel and Ryan) was that I like seeing kinky people figure out their boundaries.

It’s a PWP with FEEEEELINGS. At this point, Daniel’s realized that he’s fallen for Ryan while also trying to ignore it.

I like the way this author writes kink. There’s an organic vibe in how they play. Also the lack of actual toys. I dig how they work together to explore their kink together. There are a LOT of internal limits pushed for Daniel. Obvs, the same goes for Ryan, but since the story is from Daniel’s POV, there’s only so much we can peek in Ryan’s mind.

TL;DR: An enjoyable romp for Daniel and Ryan as they check on things that might get them off.

The more I read from this series, the more I like Daniel and Ryan. They've gone from relative strangers, only knowing each other as work colleagues to fulfilling each others sexual needs to becoming a couple.

They're not a conventional couple however but they are proof that opposites do attract and despite their differences, they just work. I love Daniels quirkiness and the way that Ryan humours him and now that Daniel has let Ryan in, their bedroom activities are getting hotter and hotter. This time, we see Daniel testing himself in 'scenes' where they imagine having an audience and one 'scene' which involves them leaving the privacy of their own homes. All in the name of Daniel proving how good he is for Ryan. They're always trying something new and different.

Each book in the series is short and well written. So much is crammed into every installment and they actually feel more like full-length books. I always look forward to the release of the next chapter, eager to find out Ryan's latest methods of testing Daniel's limits and see Daniel becoming a little less OCD the more time he spends in Ryan's company. They're an angst free, easy read and well worth picking up.

When this book hit my inbox, I admit to being all grabby hands. Book six left me in a lurch, and I have been looking forward to this book to get Daniel and Ryan back on track. Don’t get me wrong, book six was good, and Daniel and Ryan certainly moved forward in that book, but I needed them to make a clear connection, and yeah, I got that in book seven. And with the blurb for book eight—ahhhh, now I’m back on pins and needles, wondering how Eradani is going to handle that particular setup!

Book seven begins in the middle of a scene for our MCs. They’ve been together for a while now, moving ever so slowly toward being true boyfriends, not just Dom and sub. In the last book, the two finally admitted how they felt about each other, and now, in book seven, the cement is forming around the two and their relationship. Frankly. let’s hope that book eight doesn’t crack that cement. Once more, Ryan is pushing Daniel’s boundaries, but this time he is challenging him to think beyond their private scenes and invite the outside world into their private haven. It takes some doing, some hard thinking on Daniel’s part, but eventually he consents to two different scenarios that involve public play…sorta. Daniel is, little by little, conceding more and more control over to Ryan, not just in their scenes but also in the planning and concept stages of their play. Ryan is truly taking the time to learn his submissive inside and out: his tells, his wants, his needs, and where he can push the limits with Daniel.

The first scene they try appeals to Daniel’s vanity and pride. Letting Daniel be on display, letting others see how good he is, is a massive turn on for Daniel. What Daniel doesn’t expect is the way his feelings flip in the middle of the scene, and it’s not about him anymore; it’s about establishing his ownership of Ryan and not letting anyone else see or be able to lay a claim on what Daniel considers his. Daniel then becomes concerned because he’s starting to realize he wants things from Ryan, things that go beyond weeks or even months together.
“I know.” Ryan catches the hem of his t-shirt, the one Daniel put on earlier. “Because you chose to be mine, and it means none of them can have you.”

“And that’s what I want out of it,” Daniel says. “I want all of them looking at what they can’t have, because you already have it.”

Scene two is not about being seen but about holding it together and not drawing attention to himself. This scenario is all about Daniel’s control of himself, a control he definitely prides himself on, and it appeals to him to push his boundaries a little and see how far his control can stretch. It blurs the lines between where Daniel Brown begins and Ryan’s Daniel ends. This scene takes Daniel right to his breaking point and the sex afterward had me fanning my face.
“You held it together so well,” Ryan says. “Came apart just for me. Only for me.”

OK, the blurb for book eight takes Daniel and Ryan in a direction that scares me to death. I love these two; the chemistry is off the charts and the feels can be overwhelming, so why a third? I have every confidence in Eradani to make it good and keep my favorite couple going, and yes, I will go all grabby hands on it again when Caught In Between hits my inbox.

Warning, these books do not stand alone. They are not individual stories, you cannot just pick up here and go, but they are not long. Each novella is less than a hundred pages, and Amazon has a bundle deal. I highly recommend it!

This instalment has been the sexiest so far. I couldn’t stop reading, it was so good. It is one of the best I’d read. I couldn’t get enough of Daniel.

This has been the scene I have enjoyed the most of the series. Maybe it had something to do with Daniel giving more control than he is used to and his willingness to try new things. It was amazing. He also was more vulnerable than in other situations and It was fantastic to see him struggling so badly. I don’t remember he ever had so much trouble doing what he’s been ask to, but it definitely made me loved this instalment so much more than the others.

I also liked Ryan’s attitude. It is so amazing to see how well he knows Daniel and how he know how exactly what he can ask and how much he can push. The only issue I’m having right now is that I think I already read a lot of part of the series and I want something more for them. It had become a little bit expected and everything is just too good and perfect. I would love for them to either have more conflict or see the relationship taking other steps, because right now it seems a little stationary.

Overall it was great. One of my favorites so far.

Four and a half stars!
Daniel and Ryan are so deliciously kinky. This story was about Daniel’s trust in Ryan. It was wonderful seeing Daniel stretch his limits and put his trust in Ryan to keep him safe and secure. Daniel lets go so beautifully when he feels safe and comfortable in Ryan’s presence. I really liked the scene Ryan came up with and how he reacted when Daniel freaked out at first. Then the way Ryan reacted after Daniel thought about it for a while was so sexy. The actual weekend away was short compared to the rest of the story. However I love when Daniel and Ryan go out towards the end. It’s so freaking sexy and you can feel both Ryan and Daniel’s emotions and connection. I’m eager to see how their relationship grows as a result of Daniel’s trust and Ryan’s care.

I really look forward to these serials, and once again, this did not disappoint. Daniel and Ryan continue to expand their relationship. This time, they have two very different scenes, and both of the scenes are outside of Daniel's comfort zone. This is one of the reasons why Ryan is perfect for Daniel. He knows how and when to push Daniel's boundaries. I always want more when I reach the end! I can't wait for Caught in Between, but I hope trouble is not on the horizon.

A ScatteredThoughtsandRogueWords Review. This review can also be found here.

An idea from Ryan regarding a scene can't seem to get out of Daniel's head. He wants to try it out but among the safety of strangers, so Ryan and Daniel make a weekend trip that will either end in disaster or make for one very sexy memory.

This review is the review of the book as well as the excerpt for the next one. Because you can't drop a bomb in the excerpt and not expect it to have an impact.

I was so inordinately happy after reading this story and then I read the excerpt and I was like - Oh! This is too fast and I know how that sounds because in most reviews for this series I am like things are going too slow but seriously you can't lull your readers into liking the slow pace of the series and then start springing atomic bombs on them.

There is just too much happening in the next one, there might be a meet and greet with a family member and a very surprising addition to Daniel and Ryan's sex life. I feel like this is no longer the review for the "Weekend getaway" but more like the review for the excerpt of "Caught in Between" which is a fitting name because that is exactly how I feel.

But if I could get my mind off the excerpt I would tell you that this short story was extraordinarily well written and well paced. There is a lot happening and I loved seeing Ryan and Daniel's relationship progress so far. Daniel is so much more trusting of Ryan and I felt like these two scenes that they share in this short really pushed the boundaries of their relationship and their sex life but alas I can't tell you all this because that excerpt completely short circuited my brain. All I can think about is the logistics of the thing, suggested by Daniel in the excerpt, happening.

I had these pretty little butterflies bouncing about in my stomach after reading the last line of Weekend Getaway because at that point I was feeling blissfully overwhelmed and happy considering how far Daniel and Ryan had come about and I was all ready to write an amazing review when I read the excerpt and the butterflies in my stomach transmogrified into vampire rats infected with the bubonic plague.

Okay, I might be exaggerating but I have no idea what to expect from the next one in this series. This particular book was amazing but I am really unsure about "Caught in Between", but I guess the I will just have to wait and watch.

Meanwhile this particular short is independently a very nice addition to this series and I loved reading it as I hope you can tell but I am pretty nervous about the next one.

The Cover Art by Natasha Snow is amazing and I love the new series of covers for this series.
