Rate this book
Bryce is the star of her soccer team. She eats, breathes, and lives soccer. After her boyfriend Adrian unceremoniously dumps her before a match, though, she spirals into a deep depression, which is made worse by the fact that her parents seem to prefer him to her.

After just a few months, she finds out Adrian and his new girlfriend are engaged to be married. This floors her -- until she meets Leo, her roommate’s goofy but sweet brother. He becomes her confidant and friend, and they have a great rapport. But Adrian, it seems, hasn’t entirely taken himself out of the picture…

Filled with deception and intrigue, B, My Name is Bryce is a steamy, sexy romance for all those who have ever found themselves torn between two loves.

Blurb:
Alice is a go-getter. She was one of the best students at her high school, and now that she’s in college, she is working her hardest to continue her drive to succeed by finishing school early. But when her boyfriend Takeo, who goes to another school, dumps her, Alice’s world starts falling apart.

That’s when she meets Thomas Powers, a renowned professor and researcher. He offers Alice an internship with his research group -- and he also seems to really like her, in a more-than-friends way. At first, everything seems great -- she can even tolerate her frisbee-obsessed, bro-ish new boss, James. But a chance encounter one night changes everything -- and reveals just who Alice can really count on.

I love how Simmons writing is improving. This is another of her books that has the potential to be a full length novel. My only issue is that there was not enough build up of emotions, nor feelings between both love interest. Now on a positive note: Damn that professor knows how to fuck.
