Heaven’s best friend, Meesha is due to pick Heaven up from prison. While Heaven is on the phone with Meesha making arrangements to be picked up Meesha is killed. After being released Heaven has no place to go; her mom does not want Heaven at her house. Coco one of the girls she met in prison allows Heaven to stay with her. Heaven is trying to obtain a job so she can get her son back.
So the "best friend" Meesha ain't dead? Why did she wait until her supposedly best friend get released to do what she did? I'm confused on so many levels. Then Heaven's dumb ass. How are you going to get mad at Sin for shooting Los? This ninja left you high and dry. He also stole your money - plus sleeping with yo friend. Houses simple bish I would've shot his ass myself.
This was a good book and a quick read. I like Sin and Heaven as a couple but she’s too trusting. It’s like she’s a snake magnet. I gave it 3 stars because it ends at 80% and has several excerpts from different books. If that doesn’t bother anyone, I would recommend this book.
It was good. I was getting into it but it was moving at a fast pace and it ended fast. I was disappointed with that. I felt like it could've continued on instead of moving on to Part 2. There weren't that many chapters but since the story is a goodie, I will read on.
I liked this story once I got into it. Meesha was a dirty backstabbing chick. Tank is beyond crazy. Sin is cool and Heaven just wants peace. Will she find it in part 2?
Wow now that is some twist and turn for your butt. Who would have known that she would have been the one to do that . Some people is just to nice for their own good.
It was okay. I didn't really start to lose interest until the end. I'm not sure what happened. I'm not sure if it was lack of chemistry between the characters. hmmmm
This story from page one has twists and turns, highs and lows. It begins with Heaven getting out of jail, you know from her reception things wont be easy. You see this mentally strong woman go from incarceration to sleeping on her friends couch and finding out someone close to her dies. She tries to put together the pieces of her life for herself and young son, unfortunately returning to the same neighborhood puts you around the same type of people. While crashing at her friend's house she meets her older brother Sin a King in the streets, and a sexy chocolate tall glass of yum. Will things be different when Sin enters the picture and wants to do right by her?
