The book focused heavily on changing the narrative from empaths being whiny, oversensitive and emotional people to ‘super hero’s’ with unique talents. I felt it was more about how to increase self esteem and harness self acceptance. The nuggets of helpful information in the book were elementary and very basic.

A thorough yet concise manual of what an empath was and how to begin navigating the world with this talent. I was intrigued by the scientific approach and rationale for empaths. This book would have gotten a five except it had several typos which included smelling, missing words, and incorrect words. However it was not unreadable and the point was still made.
