A. Gorman is an author who writes whatever the characters in her head dictate. Becoming an author was never in her plans, yet she finds immense joy in transforming the stories she conceives in her mind into tangible works for others to devour.
I'm not a fan of the short story. I get too invested in character building and a short story is a waste of my time. I was invested in this one and anticipating the highs and lows of an insta family. I don't read books under 200 pages, even if they're free. I will read a free book if it has at least 225 pages, but if I pay for it, it has to have at least 280 pages, nothing less will do. If you don't mind a short story, you'll probably like this. I was happy with what I read until it said, "about the author". 🤔😒
Cute and entertaining short easy to read military stories. These stories detail the relationships developed between two people who either are or have been traumatized by war, death or personal injuries. How they finally are able to overcome their pain or disappointment to obtain their happy ever after.
I got this book for the Genevieve Lynne story Brave Like Soldiers, and once again, this author knocked a novella length story out of the park. She does a fantastic job building the plot and developing the relationship even though the story is short.
I wish there was more to read by Ms. Lynne, she’s a fantastic author and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything she’s written.
