This book talks about Instagram Secrets but are these really secrets? Most of what I read from the book, I already knew (like creating good quality images, being consistent etc etc)
The book is great for someone completely new to the world of Instagram but nothing new for a seasoned user, I liked the first half but the second half seemed less Instagram focused.

This book is extremely helpful for those wanting to grow their Instagram following, as well as make money through the Instagram platform. This book gives you a step-by-step guide on just exactly how to get insane engagement on your Instagram posts; from how to create the perfect Instagram username, how to time when to post, how to create scroll-stopping images, and how to create captivating captions and correct hashtags. The author goes into detail on how to complete each step within the chapters, and he also reiterates all the important stuff the reader may have missed at the end of each section as well (multiple times if the information is REALLY important!). I think this is a great book (and probably the only one that is needed!) for those looking for help with stepping into the Instagram marketing platform. The author also goes into detail on how to turn followers into dollars by using the strategies revealed in the book in detail. He has three dedicated chapters on how to sell successfully using the Instagram platform. Included in the book is a list of resources that were introduced throughout the chapters, most of them the author himself uses! He does inform the reader that it is a lot of hard work in the beginning; he constantly reminds the reader that in order to be successful in the Instagram platform, they need to try different strategies (ex: what time of day to post, how to connect with other Influencers, etc.) and see which ones work for them. The book is well-written and easy to follow, so the reader can literally go step-by-step by following the entire book, and well on their way for Instagram success and getting that insane engagement and money that they want to achieve!

This is an excellent book with many tips on how to build your brand on Instagram and even other social media platforms. The book is filled with many practical tips and strategies that you can apply immediately and even provides additional resources to explore. The book is relevant to both beginners and advanced Instagram users, and the layout of the book allows you to skip to relevant sections based on where you are in the process of developing your brand. While the strategies may be a little complex, the author does a great job breaking it down and uses language that is easy to follow and is personable. It feels like you’re having an insightful conversation with a mentor rather than reading a book.

Additionally, I can see myself revisiting this book as my brand grows and as I work through each step. As the author mentions, while these strategies are proven to predict marketing traffic and profit potential, it is not a guide to get rich quick. The information is supported with facts and numbers (average like activity, follower growth, etc.), further supporting the claim that these are proven strategies. Rather, the strategies are centered around building a meaningful brand that can grow quickly and generate significant engagement, which, in turn, will generate profit and withstand the test of time.

Overall, I recommend this book for anyone interested in starting, expanding, or focusing their marketing efforts on their business or brand.

An avid user of Instagram, I didn’t expect to be introduced to so many key elements I overlooked – elements that could help me expand my audience and gain loyal followers while, yes, making an income from the platform! From the basics like how to set up an Instagram account to the complex world of paid promotions, using links to direct people to products, and so much more, this book has it all.

Jeremy also makes excellent points on the importance of consistent posting, visually appealing and engaging content, connecting with your audience, using hashtags to their fullest, and so on. As I was reading, I couldn’t help but analyze my own Instagram account. This book had me brainstorming which of Jeremy’s points and suggestions I could apply to boost my engagement, among other things.

The tone of the book was a wonderful mix of professionalism, warmth, and personality. Jeremy’s style was clear and he used language in a way that Instagrammers of all skill levels could understand. I’m glad I was able to come across this book because, even after years on Instagram, there’s so much I don’t utilize on the platform.

Jeremy McGilvery’s book, Instagram Secrets, was one of the best books I came across while looking for ways to increase my Instagram following. I am a blogger, and social media is one of the best ways I continue growing my following and engagement with my blog. After looking around the internet and spending hours on countless useless scams, I stumbled onto this book. I had already spent so much time looking at cons. What is one more? Instead, the fantastic tips that were inside of this book helped me grow my Instagram following. Once I started gathering my Instagram following and getting more and more engagement with my posts, I was able to turn those followers into hard cash. Not literally, don’t worry. My profits from both my blog and the products that I advertised on Instagram brought me a large amount of money only because I followed the tips and advice that Jeremy put inside of his book. It was a huge lifesaver for me when I started giving up hope on ever getting anywhere with my Instagram following and my blog. Two thumbs up to Jeremy for his work on this book.

This was a great book for any new independent entrepreneurs. It lays out step by step everything you need to do to earn followers quickly and how to make as much profit on Instagram as possible. In a world of rapidly increasing social media, it can be hard to keep up with everything--this book begins with the basics, laying everything out clearly for anyone who is new to social media. The tips are flexible and can be applied to almost anything, whether you are selling products or promoting your business, and I also liked that they were transferrable to other platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Because I was always under the impression that you needed to spend a lot of money for ads to boost your followers, I got quickly frustrated with social media marketing for my own product and gave up a long time ago. These strategies were simple, yet they showed me all the little things I could do on my own to make my social media more appealing to followers without giving up part of my profit for marketing.

Nothing is secret. This is an average book you can find this type of information online easily. Also, I did not find the author's account on insta. Many software he suggested are not available or are outdated.

I think social media and technology changing day by day. If you are reading a book that is published in 2017 and since then many things, policies, and strategies have changed.

I created my business Instagram account a few years ago but not got any success. Whenever I post something only get bots comments or fake likes. Sometimes I think Instagram is for famous celebrities nothing for beginners.

One day I was listening to a podcast where a famous insta influencer said I was uploading on insta after every hour. It is hard to upload on insta after every hour but not impossible. I think you need all day to explore insta because now it is a very saturated market.

Creating an Instagram account seems like a simple enough task, but to create an instagram account that has a great following is quite daunting. After reading this book I feel confident that I am able to increase my following by following some of these great tips. He talks about using modeling to following what the "big pages" are doing and to help grow your account, how often to post (down the specifically how far apart your posts should be), and gives you apps that are free to download but will help your page. One thing I always struggled with was how to use hashtags. This book helped me to clarify the best way that they can be used (and some worst ways!). There are some amazing tips on how to make your instagram earn a profit and how to track clicks on your links. This is definitely a must read book if you are trying to grow your following on instagram.

This book is great and it makes you think of things that you have not thought of before. One of the tips that he talks about is how an Instagram name matters and how the pronunciation should be easy to say and to be unique. I also started a website and this made my followers way more interested in me as I went up in followers and I even noticed how there were other small brands approaching me and gave me offers which made me very happy. I even chose to have a niche of traveling which was a great choice, I didn’t even know about niches before reading this book!
I think that having a travel niche was great as there were a lot of people who comment about how they also travel and it was nice to see a lot more interactions on my instagram posts! I really hope people get to read this book at least once if they want to grow their brand on instagram and even make money in the process!

High quality vids, pics, creating your own community, and how to make my logo or brand stick out and have a great impact on my followers. I didn't even know that there were so many ways to make an income from Instagram until reading this book...theres sponsorships, brand deals, free products, and I am sure there are other ways as well! The author goes over the strategies that he has personally used and has helped him grow a successful business. This is dare I say “Using Instagram to Enhance Your Business for Dummies”.

The author does an amazing job of providing easy to understand information on what works on Instagram and what doesn’t. This is your step by step guide on setting up your Instagram page, monetizing, and creating posts that are going to receive engagement.

If you are wanting to move from using Instagram as a hobby to growing your business then this is the book for you.

This is a resource that I wish I had when I first set up my Instagram account. This is something that I will continually be coming back to as I build my business.

What I like about this book is that it is good for beginners and the more advanced entrepreneurs. He does make it clear in the book that it is definitely not a get rich quick scheme, and that it does take work. I love that he is honest, and not selling this book as many of the * get rich quick* schemes that do not actually work. He does give you all of the information and tools to get more followers and make money from your Instagram account.
Jeremy explains how big of a company Instagram is, and there is PLENTY of opportunity to grow your following. Jeremy breaks it down into simple tasks and makes it easy to understand and follow through with. He even dives in to explain the ideal Instagram basis.
This book is definitely worth the money!!

When I first started reading this book, I had no idea you could make money and build a business on Instagram. I had a business page on Facebook that I paid to advertise, and it never got many hits. The most important thing, is to have PASSION and also patience. Jeremy outlines every single thing you need to do, step by step to gain a following. From creating a simple, easy to follow username. He emphasizes that every word and every line counts. If you want to create a business, you need to carefully think of everything you post, and how you set up your page. Also, the more thought out, less content, the better. He outlines you don't want to mass post multiple times a day. This will just make people scroll right past your page and decrease your engagement. Jeremy recommends a tool called Icnosquare, it determines the best time of day to post for your targeted demographic. This app will not only track the best time of day to post, but it shows your audience engagement over a 24-hour period. Many people think the more hashtags the better, Jeremy outlines that why more hashtags are not better, and to find the right ones to include in your post. Because of this book, I will now be moving my business page to Instagram. I had no idea how successful Instagram had gotten and how easy is to figure out

Jeremy gives so much knowledge about the Instagram game. My favorite part was learning all of the details that go into making your posts. There are even recommendations for different apps and tools that you can use to help in your Instagram journey.
I learned so much about getting proper engagement and making money through Instagram! I didn’t want to sell products, but Jeremy also talks about affiliate marketing, which was a great alternative that I started implementing. If you’re looking to get serious about Instagram, this is an amazing resource!

This is a stellar book for anyone looking to expand their Instagram footprint. If you are looking to get a "million-followers-quick" solution, this isn't it. The strategies that are revealed in this book are insightful as Jeremy lays out the logic for simple organization and consistency in your insta page. Jeremy doesn’t rush, but methodically introduces successive ideas and builds continuity--this is a theme throughout the book that is the skeleton key of logic to unlocking a committed online following.

To be completely frank, anyone who is familiar with branding strategies will recognize some crossover expect it's applied on a personal scale. Thus anyone who wants to expand their brand NEEDS to read this book.

This book was recommended to me by a colleague after some discussion on places where I was stuck. The thing I really appreciated about this book was that it wasn’t overly fancy or verbose; the tips and strategies outlined in Instagram Secrets are plain-spoken, straightforward and are complete.

Initially, my interest in this book was in growing the engagement on my Instagram posts, but found the tips for making money on the platform to be practical and feasible. While I haven’t started down the monetization route as of yet, the engagement on my posts is insane after making just a few of the subtle suggested changes!

This was well worth the read and is a resource I know I’ll refer to over and over again. It had exactly the information I needed to build a following.

I have to say, I was skeptical that this book would have any information that anyone can really use. I have read several books on similar topic and none are realistic. I was pleasantly surprised after reading “Instagram Secrets” at how much I was able to learn an implement fairly quickly. It will be a slow process as nothing happens overnight, but I now have tips to guide me in the right direction. I am confident I will be able to get income from my Instagram account soon!! If you are thinking of trying to monetize your instagram, or even start a business up on social media, this is the book for you. Jeremy dives deep into the little known tactics you can use on instagram: How to grow your page, make great posts, and strategies for making money with social media. This book has helped me gain all of those things, but also set me up with a wicked game plan to make more money. There are alot of videos, podcasts, and more, but they don't express it as clear. I wish I read this book before creating my Instagram account years ago, but better late than never.

I personally like how Jeremy wrote this book. It was clearly defined with a lot of helpful hints and tricks to be able to best monetize your Instagram account. This book truly walks you through all parts of running an Instagram page successfully, right down to when to post, picking page names, etc. The book truly covers how to drive meaningful traffic that will generate potential business leads and income for you. I will be implementing a lot of what I learned from the book into my personal and business Instagram accounts in order to drive the most amount of traffic. I would highly suggest reading this book to anyone getting started in Instagram or social media marketing!
