I gave this book to my mother in law and while visiting picked it up. What a delightful book, beautiful writing and familiar people and places. Thanks Lew-Ellyn!

I liked the first few sections best and their descriptions of Maine and life in the state. The middle bit was a bit too moralizing and spiritual for my tastes.

My husband and I took our first trip to Maine last fall..and fell in love. A bookshop along the coast had a section of local Maine authors. I picked up this book and wanted to bring a bit of Maine home with me. I have enjoyed these stories so much. I hope Lew-Ellyn keeps writing more!!
