One of several freebie downloads I got to try new authors. This one was a fun romp. BDSM done well, no real story since it’s so short, but enough sense of personality and setting to help the reader connect on a base level. I will definitely seek out longer stories by the author.

Not entirely to my tastes. It's difficult with smut to please everyone. I can be very picky (e.g. there were certain words I didn't like to see used, but others might not mind them or even enjoy them). The Lord Ashford character was also much more appealing to me than the protagonist.

Good short story

This is presented as a short story and that is what it is. It takes place one afternoon on the estate of a wealthy gentleman who has employed a young man to care for the horses. The young man has long had fantasies about the gentleman realizing that he would like to indulge himself with the stableboy. This afternoon, that is what he does and the stableboy is genuinely happy. There is still a class distinction so it will be discreet but they see it continuing. A fun romp in the tack room for master and servant.

The Stablehand’s Submission is another delightful book from Alec Stark. This book is a short, erotic, historical romance story that is entertaining and spicy hot! It is a dark and intense story that is definitely a page-turner. The stablehand in this story is 18-year-old Joseph, who is wildly in love with Lord Ashcroft, Lord of the manor and his employer of six years. The book was well written and edited, enjoyable to read, and one I would recommend if you like m/m BDSM stories. Don’t forget a fan and cool drink.

Yummy

There have been very few M/M eorticas/ romance novels that could really make me want to jump in bed with my husband but this one did if only he didn't have to work in the morning I would have woken him up for a round or two. My husband finds it funny that I get a lot of our positioning from all the books I read but only while we aren't in bed once we are there he is over joyed at what happens.

Not bad, but not intriguing either

This was short and, if not quite hot, not bad. I think that the thing that distracted me the most with this story was that it was supposed to be a historical time period, but the language, thoughts, and terms used during sex were all decidedly modern. It almost had the feel that Lord Ashcroft was a historical character, but Joseph was a contemporary one and the meeting of the two just didn't quite work for me.
