This book could rival the life and times of Walter Mitty, the fictitious figure who lived in 1939 and who spent his life dreaming of amazing experiences he enjoyed during his lifetime. In fact, our youngest son, likened our life and experiences to the tales of the "Big Fish" in the celebrated movie by the same name. It was only later than he finally admitted that the things we did, the people we met and the experiences we had during our lifetime were legitimate, and he apologized. Precious Memories is a true story and we feel very fortunate and blessed that through our lives, from infancy, our courtship as teenagers, and our married life of over 55 years, we experienced these "precious memories" together. We hope the reader will enjoy reading about our lives as much as we enjoyed recalling and finally putting on paper the record of our many experiences throughout the years.
