She’s won numerous writing awards, including the National Reader’s Choice Award, and a nomination for Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart and the Holt Medallion.
When not following the race circuit, Pamela writes full-time from her ranch in Northern California where she lives with her husband, daughter and, at last count, twenty-one four-legged friends.

Rodeo Legends: Shane is a Rodeo Legends Series by Pamela Britton. Stock Car Racer Kaitlin Cooper had a one night stand with Rodeo legend Shane Gillian. At the time they didn't know who each other was. When Kaitlin discovered she was pregnant she went to see Shane. Shane asked her to marry him. They went to Las Vegas and got married. He lives in the West and she lives in the East. Neither want to leave their home towns because of their career. There are ups and downs in this story. A very good read.

Kait & Shane have good chemistry.
I thought the twist of a rodeo rider & a race car driver romance was an interesting one.
The story is predictable but held my interest.
Overall, it was engaging and an easy, light read to decompress/veg out after a long day or a more intense book.

Yes, I wrote this book. Yes, I loved returning to the world of NASCAR. Yes, it's hard to be impartial when it's your own book you're rating, but I *loved* IN THE GROOVE and I love its spin-off, RODEO LEGENDS: SHANE. I hope you do, too.
