I'll admit, apart from shota Kusama Sakae could probably draw anything and I would love it.
The cover of this alone is worth the price of admission, and the manga itself was great as well. It's two connected stories, one about a university student who had a friend as a kid who disappeared and nobody remembered. He and that childhood friend are of course reunited, but the story is a lot darker than you'd think from that description. The second story is the これから story of the friend of the childhood friend, and it too took a different direction than I expected but I loved it. I cannot say what makes me adore Kusama Sakae's manga as much as I do but I do.
