Overall this was a very good book for the beginner and the pro alike. This book starts out with something that is lacking in so many other spell books. Intention is everything. Get that focus started first before you worry about your wing of bat! I, for one am not a practitioner of love spells. I think they are usually more trouble than they are worth and are better left to the solitary practice. You'll find me hard pressed to do a love spell for someone else. That being said I like the way this books puts the knowledge in the hand of the caster. Knowledge is power after all. There is a break down of days of the week, moon cycles as well as elemental ingredients such as water, fire and crystals to help guide the caster into their own intentions. The book ends with a section on creating your own spells which I find is lacking today. I am an admin for several Facebook Groups and the number of people that coming in with the following line, "Hi, thanks for the add, I need a spell for ........" It just astounding. Taking the time to learn to project your intention is something that every witch should take the time to focus on.

This book was helpful in the series if one is looking for spell work to enhance romance. It is useful in areas of self-love, sex magick, and additional topics. It guides you in a direction the does not have a specific intention. A lot is left for interpretation, which I think is most appropriate for the subject.
