Eden Black isn't just a kickass assassin. She's been known to double your trouble, and blow a few minds in the process. Problem is, she's wanted by the most dangerous race in the known Universe, and that bounty hunter they sent for her?
He's her only weakness.
This is the extended cut version of the short story A Gemini's Edge that first appeared in the RT 2016 Intergalactic Bar & Grille's first ever for-fans-only anthology Dealer's Choice.
Reader Advisory: This is a novella-length science fiction romance. It contains explicit sexual scenes and taboo acts. For adults only.
M.D. WATERS lives with her family in Maryland. When she isn’t writing edge-of-your-seat science fiction thrillers, abusing her muse, or random dancing, she's writing USA Today Bestselling romances as MISTY D. WATERS.
Her first novel, ARCHETYPE, was nominated for a RT Reviewers' Choice award, on the Texas Library Association's 2015 Lariat Reading List, listed on Popsugar.com's The Best Books of 2014, and voted "Best Sex" by the A.V. Club's Pages Most Likely to Succeed: Our Favorite Books of 2014 (so far). Her other works, ANTITYPE & PROTOTYPE, are available now.
I ❤️ Waters, and can't wait for her next full length book. Love that the women are strong, and the love scenes are steamy! Normally I would giv her 4 stars, but since this was novella length, She didn't have a chance to really develop the characters like in her previous series. Despite that, she still hit the good points with strong women (intellectually and physically) and scenes that put the book into "contemporary romance" genre. Fun read and a good way to spend a sick day!
Wow - non-stop action and heat and sass! I love this futuristic twist on twins, I love the kick-ass heroine, and can NOT stop drooling over Jeremie. The heat between them is off-the-charts. A super fun read, with a Firefly-esque feel.
On the short side, but a good read. I love this author's writing style and her way of developing characters. Just wish this didn't represent me catching up on her back catalog.
Love the Gemini Twin concept. Would love to see it in full novel form.
The only problem with this novella is that it ended too soon. M. D. Waters writes good SF way out on the edge too, not just the captivating Archetype style.
