Each day, I wake up and wonder what has happened to my body. Each day, I move through routine knowing that something is wrong, knowing that these hands and this face aren't mine. For as far back as I can remember, I have battled with gender dysphoria. Only in the last year have I found the courage to finally put words to my feelings, and to explore through poetry the intricacies and experiences of the transgender individual who has spent most of her life hidden away inside the heart and mind of Author E.S. Wynn.

Red Gender features over fifty new poems that shed light on what it means to be trans, the advantages and hindrances of being born male, and on the unique perspectives of awakening as a trans individual within Norse Pagan (Asatru / Vanatru) spirituality.
