Mila ran through the woods in pure joy, driven on by the full moon above! She howled her joy, and an answering howl sounded. With this being her last night of freedom, she allowed her wolf to seek out the male who had answerer her call. Clouds covered the moon, making it impossible to see as the two approached and shifted back to human form. She couldn’t see him, but she felt him bite down on her neck! She should have stopped the claiming, but she wanted her one last night of freedom. He asked several times for her name, but she knew he would leave if he knew who she was. Instead she kissed him and moaned to drive him on; she told him she was his, and he bit down on her shoulder to make it so.
They spent the night in each other’s arms. When Mila woke, she didn’t recognize the man she had been with and had allowed to claim her! But when he opened his eyes, he sat up in shock, recognizing Mila! What would happen now? It had been arranged for Mila to mate with the upcoming alpha of the pack. Being with this other wolf was not supposed to happen!
This was a very good story. Elijah had tried to act responsibly, but Mila let her instincts guide her without any thought of the repercussions to the pack. The story line moved along at a good pace and was suspenseful. I recommend this book and look forward to more from this author.

Mila Marceau, 23, a Beta Wolf Shifter, is promised to the local Sundown pack Alpha in waiting - it's not something she's happy about. As a modern women she's determined to make her own decisions.
When she mates with Elijah Edwards, an Omega, after a passionate one-night stand, you just know it's going to cause problems along the line.
And, as any other Shifter male will smell her bond to Elijah, it looks like she has her work cut out to hide. For starters, she'd better steer clear of dear old Dad! Ah, he's away on business.
"Temptation" goes pretty much the way you'd expect, though minus the normal fight to the death.
It really doesn't stand out and I'll have forgotten it in a day or two.
Just at the end there is the strange statement:- "What would he do if he found out Mical and Elise were involved?" Seeing as neither is mentioned until that point it is a good question. I did get to the bottom of that as it is the start of the second book and the reference to Mical and Elise has disappeared.
2.5 Stars reduced to 2 Stars.

Mila is a wolf shifter princess and wants to spend her last night single woman doing what she wants before she must abide by the packs decision for her to mate with another. She encounters Elijah and he claims her in every way that he can. But they taboo for one another and didn't think through the consequences of their actions until it was too late. But passion like theirs doesn't come that way often so whilst elated that they found one another they will not let their packs tear them apart as they are stronger together. This book caught my imagination at the start and held it until the end. A great read by Aria Chase. Recommended

Mila is set to marriage the next alpha. Before she can do that she meets Elijah and he marks her as his. It was supported to be a one night stand. The next day tries to get her parents to cancel the upcoming marriage. Her mother makes her feel guilty so she will go ahead with the marriage. She still makes time to meet her mate, Elijah behind the backs of her parents. Jared finds out and tells her to end it. But she wants Elijah over her pack. Waiting for the next book to see what happens to Mila, Elijah and their pack. Keep up the excellent work

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Mila is out running in her wolf form when she hears the call of another wolf that she can't ignore. They meet, change in to their human selves, and she refuses to tell him her name. They have an instant connection, and he claims her as his mate. The next morning when they wake, he realizes he has made a huge mistake once he sees who he has mated. Mila has been promised to Jared as his mate through an arrangement between their families. Mila does not love Jared, and she tells her parents that she wants to marry for love not out of duty. She is forced to continue to plan the wedding, but at the same time, she keeps sneaking away to spend time with her mate, Elijah, who she has come to love in a very short time. While she's at Jared's family's estate, she meets Elijah in the stables, and they are unable to keep their hands off each other. She goes back to her mother, and Jared shows up. He has already smelled another man on her, and tells her that she has 24 hours to give him up. I won't give away any more info of the story, but let's just say that the story is left on a cliffhanger, which leaves you longing for the next book, and a possible HEA.

Great Book and I Really Want to Read More !!!!
I love the way Mila fought for what she wanted, not letting it be between her father and Elijah or between Jared and Elijah. She let all the men know no one owns her, no one makes decisions for her she will always make her own. 😀 I would like to see what becomes of their lives. Back I wonder what will happen with Jared and Elijah's sister Alyra. Will he make her pay for Elijah and Mila's love? Will he understand her love for him before he destroys it? If he could forget her lower class in his pack and discover she really was born the daughter of and alpha the same as him, he could except her love.

Elijah has been in love with Mila for a longtime but she never noticed him. But on the night of the full moon their wolf instincts led them to each other. Will Mila's betrothal to the pack alpha keep them from their happy ending?
For such a short book it kept me turning the pages! I really enjoyed the world of the Sundown pack that Aria Chase describes. If you like wolf shifters, drama, and forbidden true love you should check out this book!

This story is one you cannot put down. The characters are brilliant and full of life. Mila is the daughter of the Alfa leader. And Elijah, his place is lower in the pack, too low for Mila. Mila is betrothed to the upcoming Alfa. Mila goes out into the nite against her parents wishes to have a little freedom from the constraints of her position in the pack. What happens while she is out in the woods is why you will want to read this story. I do not want to spoil it, with more. I loved this story, and I think you will too.

Elijah and Mila are fantastic together even though they start off as kind of a mistake. Mila doesn't want to marry Jared (soon to be alpha of her pack) and decides to have a last fling before she's forced to do so. What starts out as one night turns into much more when their night has lasting implications. If you enjoy strong, loyal men and determined women plus lots of action and love, you need to add this book to your TBR pile. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of the book and was glad I did.

Pack politics and pack hierarchy rules condemned their actions, and Mila's family refused to allow their love to supersede her duty to the pack.
Would Elijah fight Jared for Mila? Could he win the challenge, or would he die trying?
This is a well written quick read story, with a bit of intrigue and plenty of romance.

So many thoughts and emotions with this book! Bad boy, rich girl meet and fall in love, parents and pack get involved and try to tear them apart. Do they fight for each other? do the parents and the pack get what they want? does love really win in the end? You really need to read this story to find out. I really enjoyed reading this story and you will too!

I downloaded Temptation as a free book from Amazon. Temptation ended at 40 percent, immediately followed by Reparation (book 2) which ended at 72 percent, and a third short story, Bearly Breathing. The stories are short, insta-love reads with minor conflicts, but no real conflict. An okay read, but I would have preferred a single story with a complex storyline.

"Temptation" had a delightful storyline, with a great melding of the classes to promote further books. The characters were enticing and approachable. And the sexy scenes were good and steamy. Only drawback: editing needs work.

Packs a punch!!!
Loved this book so much and will definitely be reading the rest of the series. Short and yet the story was so good and the romance scorching.
