A pest from the past ...
Camille Kennedy can't believe who just walked into her tiny bakery. That tall, muscular stud? He's Beau Bradford, famous hockey hunk.

But this isn't a happy high school reunion -- the arrogant athlete was a thorn in Camille's side and had a serious knack for bringing out her worst. And now that he's a star in the pros, he's even more chiseled and cocky.

So when Beau locks his eyes on her, Camille knows exactly what's running through his jock brain.

Game on.

But Camille's too busy for games. And she knows where Beau's flirting leads. Like, a sinfully hot kiss in the back of a cab, for example. Or his giant hand, sliding under her dress and inching up her thighs ...

You know what he's after. Don't fall for it!

A hard-hitting, heart-breaking badboy ...
Beau Bradford wears his reputation as the dirtiest player in the NHL like a badge of pride. He's no saint off the ice, either.

When the team rolls into NYC for a road trip, Beau drops in on an old rival: class valedictorian, Camille. Voted most likely to succeed. So why is the prissy bookworm slinging cupcakes, while he makes millions cracking skulls?

Ha ... who cares.

She can deny it all she wants, but Beau knows better than anyone else that Little Miss Perfect has a dark side -- one that's begging and screaming to be let loose.

Beau's goal? To even the score. Because nothing's hotter than a hate-fueled grudge f***.
Grudge Puck is a 50,000 word hockey romance! This stand-alone novel is the second entry in the Colorado Blizzard series. Narrated in alternating first person. No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA guaranteed.

If the number of cupcake shops used in romance novels were real there’d be one on every corner.
I did like the premise of this book - old high school enemies who gave as good as they got figuring out there’s a thin line between love and hate. The timeframes however seemed ridiculous. In two days the hero goes from playing the field to completely committed. I don’t buy it sorry.
The sex scenes between the two are pretty hot, but it’s weird to read a contemporary where there’s zero discussion of safe sex and they just go for it. She knows he’s a man-ho but doesn’t insist on condoms? He does want commitment but doesn’t ask if she’s on birth control? Again, not buying it.
Anyway, not sure if I would read other books in this series, but it was a quick one at least.

I read this on the back of having read an extremely dark book and it was just what I needed. This is a wonderful feel good read, with plenty of humour and some very hot chemistry between the hero and heroine.

Beau is one super hot hockey dude and Camille is a hard-working ex-nerd and they were absolute enemies at school. They are both believable and likeable characters and I really felt the connection between them. There were also some wonderful supporting characters and I can’t wait to read their stories.

I found the book really easy to read, the author’s writing style flowed smoothly. The pace of the book was good and the plot kept my interest. I loved the epilogue, it nicely tied up the HEA without being too clichéd or boring.

This is a really pleasant and feel-good type of read, it’s a short novel/long novella length book and I would recommend it to any lover of contemporary romances.

So the smartest girl in school decides office life is not for her, opens a vegan cupcake shop and then, the night before its big opening, goes clubbing, drinks too much, etc and sleeps in. Shop then opens two hours later than advertised for its big opening. Even if she is flirting with the 'dark side', can't believe anyone serious about their business would behave like this.

Also, the second book I've read recently where the blushing, sweet, generally well behaved heroine suddenly sounds like a porn actor during sex. Too much of a disconnect.

No rating because i’m not sure how many stars i should give.

This book had potential but it ended way to fast and without any real development. No details and we never really explored their past “relationship” or the new one!

Similar to the first book in the series, Beau’s a rich playboy who’s never heard the word “no” when it was said with intent. Unlike Hunter, Beau truly lives down to the stereotype of an alpha-hole. When he finds out his arch-nemesis is in town he needs to go see her to flaunt his success. With all that hateful history between them, the sparks fly from the moment of their first encounter. There’s lots of powerful emotional twists as these two come to grips with what they really felt for each other and what all that hate was covering up. The playful banter between them and their teammates and friends was a nice, light break from the big emotions the two of them had to work through. This was a fun read that I didn't want to end. I hope, in the future, to see more stories about the rest of the Blizzard players too.

Arch enemies from high school reconnect when famous and gorgeous pro hockey star Beau walks into Camille's newly opened bakery. While in NYC he sees a facebook post about the opening of her new business and decides to pay her a visit. He offers her and her friend front row seats at the hockey match which leads to a one night 'grudge f...k' and all is supposed to end there. One night Beau but an injury causes him to rethink some things and he tells her to please go out to dinner with him if he ever gets back on the ice again. The chemistry is amazing and enemies slowly turn into lovers and I won't be a spoiler and say more – just that this is a great book with lots of suspense and surprises. Oh did I mention no cliffhanger and an HEA. A fun read. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

I reviewed this book as part of an arc program. I liked this second chance romance that featured enemies from grade school. Beau was a hockey star since he was in middle school and Camille was the smart nerdy girl who Beau bullied. Years later, Camille is opening a vegan bakery in New York and when Beau is in NYC for a NHL game against New York, he sees her social media advertising the bakery. Beau decides to visit the bakery with the idea of bragging about being a millionaire player in the NHL. Only when he sees how hot she grew up to be, he wants to sleep with her and release some of the hatred left over from childhood. Camille tries to resist the playboy but she is only so strong. I liked this book and I liked how Beau realizes who he used to be better and seeing Camille reminds him he can be better again. Good book. This was the second in the seires and look forward to another one.

Camille and Beau grew up together and were always arch enemies. As time goes by, things have't changed. When Beau sees that Camille works at a bakery, he decides to drop in and see her just to rub his life in her face. Beau plays for the professional hockey team in Colorado. When he comes into the bakery, Camille is not very happy to see him but Piper who is her business partner is very attracted to him. He is sexy but just a jerk. What he didn't expect is Camille to be beautiful as she got older. He finally buys cupcakes from her and then gives them tickets to the game in town since Piper said she has never been to. Can two people who have hated each other most of their lives get past that and see where this attraction they have for each other goes? I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

Entertaining sports romance. Beau is a hockey player that is a pest. Then again, he's always been one to Camille, anyway. He and she always went head-to-head and at each other all through high school. Her best friend Piper thinks that was just like foreplay, waiting for the right time to make their moves on each other. Camille thinks she's nuts. Beau doesn't like her, does he? She has to admit, she always thought he was cute. I loved the BBB and anti-BBB. I truly enjoyed when that grudge turned itself around to raw lust. The banter between the characters in this one is a hoot. You will truly laugh out loud. The epilogue was a sweet ending.

Absolutely loved this book - it was funny, entertaining, sexy and hot as hell.

I enjoyed the bantering between Camille and Beau - you could sense the thick sexual tension simmering between them to the point I couldn't wait for it to explode. OMG these two had scorching hot chemistry - it was raw, animalistic yet sexy - I thought my ovaries were going to explode from the heat lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one - I couldn't stop laughing and I had a continuous smile on my face. Author's done an amazing job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book because you definitely won't be left disappointed.

Wow from sworn high school enemies to an attraction that can't be ignored. This was a fun book to read. Camille and Beau had a long history of annoying and irritating each other in high school. When Beau is in New York for a game he just can't resist looking up Camille's new business, a vegan bakery. What starts as a chance to let old rivalries fly again quickly turns into so much more for both of them. It was very cute to see how once they drop the sniping and teasing and realize they really are interested in each other. They both come into the new situation with baggage about the past but it is cute to watch them find a balance in the present with each other. I enjoyed the story and will look for more from the author.

Enjoyable book. I loved the characters; their personalities showed well and they were funny and likable. The storyline was interesting and the banter between H and h was great. A lot of chemistry between them and it got downright dirty sometimes.

The first 80% of this book was great and I loved it but after that point, it seemed to get a cheesy feel to it. The ending felt a bit hurried and it seemed like there should have been more as if the resolution came too fast. Still, a good read.

I love a good sports romance and this one by June Winters is a fast paced hockey romance that has you boo-ing Beau and his intentions with Camille but slowly warming up to this 'pest' of a playboy player. This certainly has some drama in it and there is a question or two about whether either can go the distance and actually take this one night 'grudge f***' further.

A good read for those who love sports romances but also those who just love a good second chase fight to the finish!

The hate turned to love!

Hockey player Beau Bradford wants to look up his school nemesis Camille Kennedy while the team is in New York because he had just seen that she had opened up a vegan bakery because he wanted to gloat how well he was doing and she was just making cupcakes.

Beau always felt that Camille looked down on jocks even though he had a slight crush on her but she never looked at him. Camille had always dislike Beau but when they finally met in New York they tried to get the hate out of their system but that leads to something much more like love.

This was a great rivals turned lovers book where you weren't sure where they would end up, loads of lol and some tense moments as well as some hot and heavy moments kept you turning the page. It was great to get a good backstory to why they didn't like each other to begin with and then see how that evolved. I haven't read book 1 in the series but will be now!

Great enemies to lovers story. And I love a good hockey romance, so this book was the best of both worlds!

Beau and Camille were so great together. Their hassling each other was their own form of foreplay, and it was both entertaining and hot.

I can't wait to read more about the team and these characters.

Camille and Beau had a fierce competition against each other growing up. Learning she just opened a bakery, Beau decides to pay her a visit while visiting New York. Will both learn there is a fine line between love and hate?

Great hockey read. Loved how these two brought out better sides of each other. Camille learned to open up and Beau learned to take his hockey playing in another direction! Will definitely be adding this author to my list!

Camille and Beau went to school together and always had a rivalry between them. Secretly they really liked each other, but never told each other. Several years later Beau is in New York and looks her up to show her how great he is doing and rub in her face. They soon discover they like each other more than they thought. Great enemies to lovers and second chance romance. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Camille and Beau have known each other since middle school. When Beau's hockey team has a game near Camille's new bakery, he decides to pop in and visit his old rival. They've got great chemistry, even when they don't realize it. Really liked the characters and the storyline. Great read! *I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.*

I love Beau. He stole my heart in this book. He is cocky, arrogant, sexy, naughty and becomes the man women dream of. Him and Camille made me laugh. With there hate to love relationship. Their banter made this book even better. When she did her goth dress up. I thought I would fall over laughing at her. In a good way. The HEA was perfect for this couple

I had a hard time rating this book. I kept going back and forth between 4 and 5 stars but finally settled on 4. This was a fun read and wasn't until the end that I realized I had read this author before and really liked the book (Hooked). Read it, I don't think you'll regret it at all.
