Quick read. A bunch of anecdotes that shed light to the life and humour of St John XXIII. Wasn't structured in any meaningful way so at times you'd go from one anecdote to the next without any context. Some anecdotes are clearly better than others, but it showed me how the good pope lived life to the full and enjoyed it as well. I'm pretty sure there are better books out there about St John XXIII, but this was interesting enough to generate my own interest in knowing about the life of the good pope.
