This author's stories are very addicting to me. I can never get enough. I love how the author brought forth two of her characters from two different series and put them to working together in this story. It was genius really. Kia and Crystal are two fantastic characters and I am glad to see them working together. I am so excited to find out just where the author will takes with this next great big adventure. I highly recommend this story.

I just got done reading the Crystal Frost series, including a sequel short story, by the fantastic author @aliciarades . This was one of those recommended to me by Amazon, and it looked interesting. What an understatement! Rades may be one of the best new (to me) YA authors out there. Her character development and plot lines were great, and her new take on some familiar paranormal stories (psychics) really had me hooked. I finished this entire series in about 1 1/2 days; I could not stop reading, curious to see what's next.

This is one of the few Kindle reads that I would like to really have in physical book form. Alicia Rades is definitely one of the authors I'm expecting great things from in the future.

This is a crossover novella about Kai from Distant Dreams and Crystal from the Crystal Frost novels.

Crystal helps Kai to open up to her friends and Kai teaches her how to astral travel.

I definitely think this is a nice little addition to maybe bring the two characters together.... maybe a new series? Fingers crossed on that one!

I was gifted a copy of this which I have voluntarily read in exchange for an honest review.

I've been wanting to read this book for a long time now, and I'm a big fan of this author, I love her writing.

To read after the events of the "Crystal Frost" series and the book "Distant Dreams".

We find there the pretty Kai Watson who during her sleep does astral projection. For many years, she will use this gift to travel all over the world. Nowadays she intends to learn more about this ability. She will meet a fortune teller Crystal Frost, it will be easy to talk to her, but for her family it will be harder. If she doesn't tell them, she may regret it one day.

I immediately got hooked on the story, which is so compelling, addictive, captivating, full of suspense and twists and turns with characters that are as engaging as ever.

I just finished the Crystal Frost books, so this was a relief to not be reading from her point of view again, however, I didn't know that this book linked two series and I went into it without knowing anything about Kai.

There was a lot of back story that I didn't get and I really felt that was difficult to overcome.

Kai was making a mountain out of a molehill about her abilities. Either they believe her or they won't she didn't have to make it seem like such a big deal.

Collin comes off as abusive. They have been dating for 1 month and he is forcing, guilting, and shaming her into divulging information that she is not comfortable sharing.

A fantastic, T&YA paranormal & urban fantasy. Kai Wilson is alone in her ability to astral travel. She wants answers to questions. A bit of Internet research leads her to Crystal Frost. She plans to visit to learn more.

Alicia Rades wrote a thought-provoking tale about the potential soul-crushing nature of keeping secrets. The fears of being different. The fears of being misunderstood. The fears of rejection. I hope to see more of Crystal and Kai in the future.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Great world building. Inspirational. Twisted. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.

This is a great little side story to the main plot of the Frost novels. I like how it fits in and is told from the perspective of someone else.

Good read

A lovely paranormal story. It was good to have previous characters along with the introduction of new characters for a new series.
