Grace That Grows: A Method of Thought, Life, and Love for All Christians

Rate this book
Our souls hunger for grace and for growth. Yet for many of us, the concepts are mutually exclusive. If we have grace, we think there's no need for growth. Or if we want to grow, we pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and resist grace. In this deep, delightful, and highly practical book, Daniel Ethan Harris presents a dynamic God who is calling us to cooperate with his lavish grace for the sake of our growth. This book will guide you into knowing more deeply–and becoming like–the God Daniel writes about.

This was a good quick read, but it has a lot of insight and things to think about/change. It covers grace in many different forms in many different arenas.

*I received this book through the goodreads firstreads program under no requirement for a review. All opinions are my own.

Learning about grace and really understanding it has opened my eyes to better incite in praying for others and prioritizing my alone time with God.. I really received a lot of Godly revelation from the last chapter on Doing good things with the right motive and attitude and learning to love others in a more Christlike way. I understand from reading this that my time now, as not being involved in ministry is so I can get to know myself and my motives behind doing good things for others for the Right reason and not because I want to feel better about myself by being a rescuer. I thank you for this book.
