How do you fight something that knows you better than you know yourself?
A plague is spreading. It writes on skin, bringing the innermost thoughts of its victim to the surface. Until there is no more skin to write on. Then... it brings death.
Ana and Rafe are completely unaware of the plague, caught up in case after case. Until someone they're close to is infected. Soon, it's a race against the clock to save them - and there's only one way to stop the spread. To pass it on...
Lee Isserow is an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker, with over fifteen years spent trawling the back streets and dark alleys of the 'entertainment' industry.
Lee lives in Liverpool, England because they accidentally bought a house there. Don't ask how that happened - they used to drink a lot.

This is the fourth book in the series. Like book three, this book also analyzes the relationship of friendships and adventures as well. This one also provides a lesson on the value of friendship. Book four is new journey with the main characters. The character Ana is still feisty. However, you see empathy in her. It good to know that she is not an Ice Queen. I give this book five stars for the concepts and unique story.
Just awesome! I love rafe and Ana! This time something bad happens to Ana's bff. Don't know how Ana keep her head under and smile on her face after what she had them do to save a life and stop the ink curse going from host to host. But all in all they found out why they couldn't find a cure. Ana and rafe never stopped until they closed a case no matter what to save people they love.
Not Kindle Unlmited but got 2 books on freebie days. Look at the writer's amazon page, he writes a bit of every genre and he writes a lot, so definitely should be something of interest. {The other 5 books are kindle unlimited and for sale or sale soon. The Cloud one probably are as well and are being written as the before the Freelancers, totally, but still about the main guy and what goes on with him}

🍸 The Perfect Mix? 🍸 True love, should never be mixed with magic, spirits and alcohol. Be that as it may, these stories can be read as a stand alone (in my opinion), BUT there is more layers unveiled when you have read the previous ones (almost like an onion). This is the fourth book in this addictive series, and yet again does the Author manage to come up with a story that has a new inventive twists to it, and upon thought it clearly has more than one spectrum in witch it can be seen. The Bonus is that it adds yet another layer to the whole of the series (tripple awesomeness). The characters, some of which are well known and loved by those who have read any of this series, are as witty, brilliant and exhilarating as always. Thats actually like A trademark in books from this author( easy to notice when you have read several). The narration makes me imagine the whole happening in my minds and but not in a detached way, more like I am a fly on the wall, or a regular at the bar. Thats especially stunning since its a paranormal book with Lovecraftian influences. It might be cause the storyline is tinged with a humor that is both down to earth and far out. Or maybe it's the skillful mix of magic & creatures, some endearing while others are Lovecraftian in its nature. In any case, Its a very awesome fast paced read!
How can an author put out a new novel at least once a month and maintain the high standards of their work? Ask Lee Isserow, a master of this craft! What if there were magickal STD's?
Rafe and Ana are almost constantly busy with cases. It seems the work of a magickal investigator are never done. The two have little time to themselves and none lately for friends. The only time Ana sees her best friend any more is when she and Rafe celebrate the end of a successful case in her bar, Day Drinkers.
Unbeknownst to them there is a magickal STD encroaching on their world. It takes one's thoughts and inscribes them on the skin in one's own handwriting. The disease is deadly, since one can only pass it along to be rid of it, by intimate contact, or perish dreadfully when all surfaces of the body become covered in script.
When Ana's friend, their favorite bartender and a mundane, contracts this disease it will change her life forever, that is if she continues to live. Ana can't bear the thought of losing her. When she insists that she have sex with Rafe to ensure her safety, neither of the proposed participants are very willing.
Ana's relationship with Rafe has been progressing nicely. What will happen between them if Rafe agrees to save her best friend? What will happen to Rafe himself if agrees?
