When a scientific procedure has unexpected results, Rory tries to make the best of a bad situation and ends up becoming an accidental superhero.

Medical scientist Rory is working in his top secret underground laboratory in Central London when a procedure has unexpected results. Far from curing his patient, a monkey called Arnold, of an unpleasant disease, he manages to turn the animal invisible! In his panic, Rory accidentally gets some of the serum he injected Arnold with into his own bloodstream, rendering himself invisible, too.

With disbelief and confusion filling his brain, Rory finds it impossible to think straight, much less to figure out what precisely happened, and what on earth he’s going to do about it. So, after stripping off his clothes—which remain visible and therefore would give him away—he heads out into the London night for a walk to try to clear his head. Soon, a series of events lead him into a situation where he takes heroic action to protect somebody from hurting themselves, or someone else. And, just when Rory thinks things can’t get any weirder, he’s found, completely naked, in the home of the man he’d helped the previous evening. How can he explain his way out of this?

A totally bonkers superhero tale!

Whilst working in his super, top-secret lab Rory accidentally creates an invisibility serum... and then accidentally manages to inject himself with a small dose.

Not knowing what to do he strips off and heads outside for some fresh air. Ending up in a pub and saving someone from doing something stupid, he ends up asleep in a strangers home.

The next day, Joel - the stranger - can see Rory in all his glory! He recounts his strange tale and Joel declares Rory his hero. Rory finds Joel rather attractive and soon finds out Joel feels the same way.

A cracking quick, witty and sexy read.

Another quick, sexy read from Lucy Felthouse. This one had me laughing out loud one minute and squirming the next. Here's the thing, if you can combine wit and hot sex scenes, you've won me over. All in all, a fun read!

A quick, quirky, fun read from Lucy Felthouse. I was privileged to enjoy a copy from the author herself, and this is my honest opinion.
I found the main character, Rory, to be an unexpected hero, and I'm always biased in favour of any tale, be it long or short, set in my current home of London City.
His unexplainable appearance in the home of Guy brings the two men together in a way neither had foreseen. I hope you'll read for yourself and see if they get their HEA.
I would have given 5 stars as I could happily have read much more about them, but if you want something quick to read on your daily commute, then I recommend this tale.

‘Unseen’ is the perfect title for this short story – where an “accidental” superhero finds out that, as interesting as it may sound to be invisible, there are definite drawbacks as well. Rory has no idea what awaits him when he renders himself invisible – and I have to admit that his antics really amused me. The sense of humor in this story makes it very entertaining, while the basic plot of a superhero finding out what it is he can actually do with a new ability, provided a nice level of suspense as to how things are going to turn out for the main character.

Erm..... well, the blurb pretty much tells you the story.

Rory is a scientist (testing on animals) and after inadvertently turning his monkey (not a euphemism) invisible, he manages to do the same to himself. Not knowing what to do, he strips off (otherwise it would look like his clothes were wandering around without him) and heads out into the night with no particular idea what he's going to do. So, what does one do when one is naked and invisible and it's freezing cold outside? Ah yes, you go into the pub *rolls eyes* and you end up saving a drunk man from making a monumental error then you gently guide him into going home safely. The drunk man has a cosy home, so wouldn't it be a good idea to go inside for a heat?! No? Apparently it is. If you woke the morning after a heavy night and find a naked man having a nap in your house do you a) call the police b) throw him out or c) make him breakfast because he's attractive (you have seen all he has to offer after all) and see where things go from there? Insert own guess here...

I know you have to suspend belief to a certain extent when you're reading a story about invisibility but this was just too far-fetched for me to accept. It's a well-written story and an easy read so if you need something short to fill some time, this might do you but for me, Rory and his monkey should've stayed hidden.
