Welcome back for the fourth installment of the Jill Hunter Short Story Series. Each story in the Jill Hunter Short Story Series is a quick read taking the average person about an hour to finish (they're each about 10,000 words). But, what it lacks in length it makes up for in fast-paced thrills. The A Jill Hunter Short #4 When Jill Hunter’s friend and ex-colleague Jan tells her of her suspicions that a seemingly innocent website is actually the front for a pedophile ring, Jill can’t walk away. Jill will do whatever is necessary to take down whoever is behind the website. She soon realizes that she will need help with this case. The help of a hacker. And it just so happens that she knows a hacker who is the best of the best. But will her history with him allow her to swallow her pride and call him? And if she does, how will she deal with the old wounds it will open up?
I am really loving this Jill Hunter series. Although only short, these stories are quite entertaining. Great if you only want a quick read. I can't wait for the next installment. I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I love helping author's out in this way and especially those with the talent Ari Rose has.
THE HACKER By Ari. Rose. A case she had worked on before, sending guy to prison, got out. Few weeks later he's back, logging into a suspicious web site. Jill needs a hacker to help. The problem is, the history she had with him. A short read, but good, waiting for the next chapter.
I liked the way that the book too, me through a case as if I were there. I liked the way that Jill, Jan and Rory manipulated the weakest link in a pedophile chain. The characters were interesting.
Once again Ari Rose comes through with a we thought out short story, this time with Jill hunting paedophiles. I've come to really enjoy joining Jill Hunter on her exploits when I'm waiting somewhere, or just need a hour or so break.
This story involves some sick, and twisted people who target kids for their pleasure. Follow Jill as she uncovers more than what the police formally thought.
My fourth short read, The Hacker, from Ari Rose, was a good, well-written story, as good as this author is, & as good as the character is, it’s time to get a full-length novel!
