Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This was a syrupy sweet read, it was a actually too sweet for me. I also do not consider it a standalone, they constantly talk about the others, and I am not interested in reading about them. This about a bride Eve, who when learns that her fiances has an ulterior motive for marrying her, runs away. She hides in a pick up truck, because she has nothing on her. When Connor discovers her, instead of just coming clean like an adult, she feigns amesia, you can get the gist. Not a bad story, just not for me, but not deserving of a two star.

The Cowboy's Runaway Bride was a cute read.

The Gist: A smarmy groom and a bride deciding oh hell no and making a run for it. A sexy cowboy unwittingly helping her escape. A little fib of having amnesia and hiding out with him and his family on their ranch while she figured things out. And maybe finding herself a stand up man in the process. Mmhm.

Conner and Elizabeth were good people. Elizabeth sweet and strong despite her runaway status. And Conner totally the strong and silent (sometimes growly) type but tender and dedicated to his family. They were good together and gave each other strength to face hurtful things in their lives.

It did stay pretty PG. Boo! lol

Overall pretty cute. I did think it needed some more editing-- wrong words used, spelling blips, some bumpy transitions. But it was still an entertaining and sweet little read.

Conner, the youngest McCall brother, was riding with his Gramps in the truck going through Dallas when he saw a string of limos. In the one limo was a bride whose veil flew out the window. Conner, jumped out of his car, caught the veil and followed running behind the limo until it stopped he returned the veil to the bride. She had the prettiest violet eyes he thought.

Later, he and his Gramps stopped for BBQ and were heading back to their ranch when they noticed the tarp in the back of the truck looked like it was coming off the new transmission they had bought. While Conner was checking that, he discovered a stowaway in the back of the truck. Actually a runaway bride.

The story was fun and I found it extremely enjoyable. Wish I could find my own Prince Charming but for now will just have to take Conner. I think you will find the series and this book to be enjoyable. I know that I did.

Such a fun read. The last thing Connor McCall was expecting to find in the back of his pickup truck on the way home from Dallas was a runaway bride with amnesia. Eve (Elizabeth) is running away from the biggest mistake that she was about to make, marrying the wrong man. Connor brings her home to the ranch with his other brothers and gramps. While Connor trying to solve, who this mystery woman is a passion flares up between him and Eve.

Love the McCall brothers, so happy they all ended up with their happily ever afters. Gramps is one of a kind, love him. Of course we can't forget Miss Peaches and Miss Clementine, they always have something to say. I'm sad to say goodby to the McCalls. I highly recommend this book along with the rest of this series!

Ms. LeClair has graced my favorites shelf since I discovered her four years ago. Her heroes are every little girls fantasy and her heroines are what ever women hopes to be. HAPPY! She makes it okay for the adult we've all become to escape into the child that lives inside. With a realistically modern design her characters remind of innocence. A time where life was easy and anything seemed possible. When the heart speaks everyone listens. With The Cowboy's Runaway Bride the heart whisper strikes again.

I have loved the McCall Brothers series, full of alpha men and the women who tame them plus a strong patriarch in Gramps… yeah, it doesn’t get much better than this type of romance in my humble opinion. Now it’s Connor’s turn and his lady is certainly one puzzle to figure out.

Liz, or as we shall know her, Eve, makes a shocking discover on her wedding day, fortunately before the I do part. A decision that sends her on the run hidden away in a pickup truck. What’s a bride on the run to do when faced with a handsome, curious cowboy… claim amnesia perhaps?

Connor isn’t really buying Eve’s supposed situation. But when she keeps up the lie, can get down and dirty like any cowgirl he ever knew, well, who is he to burst her hiding out bubble. In spite of their growing attraction Eve continues to hold back the truth. Until one precious man’s life is at stake, then Eve will do anything to make certain Gramps gets help fast. Even if it means facing the people she’s run away from.

I enjoyed The Cowboy’s Runaway Bride so very much. Eve had some hard lessons to face. We can’t change the family we have, and at some point we have to give up on pleasing them and start living our own lives.

While all the threads get wrapped up nicely, we also will have a Christmas romance to look forward to. Can’t wait.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Every once in a while I decide to read something different. A sexy cowboy is always a nice distraction. Add in a bit of Julia Roberts/ Richard Gere and how could you go wrong?

This story is a bit formulaic, yes. But is it sweet? Romantic? Laugh out loud funny? Yes! It takes place in both Dallas and a tiny dot on the map called Honor, Texas.

The McCalls are proud, loyal and love each other hard. The three brothers are Caleb, Cody and Connor. Gramps and his mini horse round out the family.

Elizabeth/Eve comes a long line of dysfunction and the head of the family is her dad, a heart surgeon. The family is fractured but he does nothing to repair it. Eve takes that task for herself and nearly manages it but at the last second does something completely out of character. She says screw it and forges for herself a new path that ultimately leads to Connor.

I didn't find any huge, gaping holes in the story. No one came back to life or teleported thousands of miles. Don't scoff. I've seen it happen. There were a few instances that were so unbelievable that I had to take a break. Walk off the frustration you might say. I still finished the book.

It's a short, fast, clean read. No mention of penises or sex acts being described. It was sweet and straightforward. Its part of a series and I could be persuaded to read them.

Of the three McCall brothers, Caleb, Cody, and Connor, even though the youngest of the brothers, Connor is by far the most compelling of the three. There is just something about all three brothers and their different personalities, but the way Ms LaClair has brought Connor to life is heart stopping.

Though there've been plenty of run away bride stories that came before this one, the author's unique ability to breathe so much presence and genuineness into the backstory and the way that Connor and Eve find each other is not only comical, but heartwarming at the same time.

Having all the characters that I've come to love in this series, play a part in the couple's present and future, especially Gramps in his loving, yet unorthodox methods for finding brides for his grandsons, what he did for Connor and Eve was priceless. How he and Connor helped Eve find her strength and sense of self set the theme of the story...driving it to the very end to where Connor's barriers were breached and he and Eve found their HEA...there may have been a tear or two shed on my part by the excellent way the emotions pulled you into the story from beginning to end.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

A Really Great Western Romance Worth the Read

A young society bride on her wedding day overhears her groom not only doesn't love her, but intends to use her father to gain financially. She flees from the church just before her wedding, without a word to anyone, finally crawling under a tarp in the back of a parked pickup truck.
Conner and his grandfather return to their truck after having stopped for dinner, and leave the big city, heading back to their ranch in Honor, Texas. Many miles down the road, Conner notices a corner of the tarp flapping in the back, and makes a pit stop only to discover a runaway bride. With a bump on her head, they mistakenly believe she has amnesia. They take her with them, as Conner's brother is a sheriff in Honor and will be able to find out who she is.
The Cowboy's Runaway Bride is a contemporary western romance, complete with horses, cows, and a budding romance that will tug at your heartstrings. I read the blurb and excerpt for this lovely story on a blog tour site, and couldn't resist it. I couldn't put it down until I finished it.

This was a nice read. When Eve overheard her fiance talking to someone about the real reason he's marrying her (for his own personal gain), She flees the church in her wedding dress and hides in the back of a pickup truck. When Connor McCall discovers her it's too late to turn around. Eve ends up at his rather primitive cabin with him for a week. To his surprise, she actually helps him with the cattle, sleeps in a bunk bed, uses the outhouse, and shares kitchen duties.

All her life Eve has been pampered and taken care of but really finds herself while she's with Conn. She also falls in love. But Conn doesn't trust her since she won't tell him who she really is and the reason for her running away from her own wedding.

I enjoyed this even though the plot was a familiar one. The characters were really likeable, especially Conn's Gramps, who had a bit of a hand in getting the couple together.

The Cowboy’s Runaway Bride by Laurie LeClair
The McCall Brothers Series

When Dallas society bride Elizabeth Eve Barrington discovers her intended’s financial ulterior motives for marriage, she hightails it out of the church in her wedding gown and hops in the back of a parked and beat-up pickup truck.

Happy to leave the big city, sexy cowboy Connor McCall jumps in his truck, revs up his engine, and then heads home to Honor, Texas with the goal of saving his family’s failing ranch. Hours later and miles down country roads, Connor discovers the stowaway bride, and he’s pretty sure she’s feigning amnesia.

What’s a cowboy to do? Cowboy up, of course. He takes Eve home, determined to solve her mystery. What he discovers is a lot of smoke–and where there’s smoke, there’s fire, with the heat generating between them hot enough to burn. Will Connor be damned if he falls for the beautiful runaway bride or will he be damned if he doesn’t?
this is Elizabeth Eve Barrington and Connor McCall's story.
Conner glanced in the side mirror. A gust of wind caught the sheer, white veil and sent it flying. He watched it float in the air. It landed in the crook between his truck and mirror. The lace-edged, delicate fabric fluttered and lifted.
Without thinking, he reached out, snatched it up, and then rolled it in a loose ball.

“Good catch, son.”
He caught up to the shiny car and shoved the delicate material through the half open rear window. A feminine hand appeared at the same time, grabbed for it, and accidentally brushed her fingers along his wrist.

A current of electricity rushed through him.

Conner heard her loud gasp. She withdrew her hand instantly, along with the veil, reeling in the long fabric.

“Thank you.” Her soft voice whispered over him.
I highly recommend reading.
The Cowboy’s Runaway Bride by Laurie LeClair is a wonderful well written 5 star book.

This was a fun book to read. Elizabeth was having second thoughts about say “I do”. Her Aunt Clara showed up as Elizabeth was getting ready to walk down the aisle. I loved her Aunt. Her Aunt saw the doubts and said I have the yellow caddie in the parking lot. The top’s down. If you have a change of heart, jump right in and take off. I can ride shotgun. She got her Aunt to cover for her. She wanted one glimpse of the groom to be before she went through with it. Something stopped her from barging into his dressing room. She heard voices. Gavin her groom to be just wanted her as a trophy wife. She heard someone say I can’t believe you’d stoop this low as to marry the doctor’s daughter just to get his endorsement for the new heart meds your company is pumping out.

Elizabeth ran, and ran in her big white wedding dress. She didn’t take the time to explain to her aunt. She just knew she had to get away. It was her way of protecting her family, and herself. She ended up climbing in the back of a pick-up truck that was covered with a tarp.

Conner and his grandfather were driving back from Dallas. His grandpa had his pet miniature horse with him named sweet Potato. I loved that small horse throughout the book. Conner stopped and looked into the back of his truck. To his shock he found a run-away bride. Elizabeth really had hit her head when she climbed into the back of the truck. She pretended she had amnesia until she could figure something out.

The next day Conner who was a cowboy had to ride out for a week to do ranch chores. It was his grandpas idea to take Elizabeth with him. The two had chemistry that sizzled. She proved herself, and really worked, and didn’t complain. She won me over throughout the book. She also captured Connor’s heart, just he had captured hers. Loved this book!

Okay, that was a really nice read! I was a bit annoyed with our bride-to-(not)-be for the manner in which she dealt with her situation (Seriously? Amnesia?) but it was great to see her find her way and herself, to see her learn to stand up for the things that are important to her and I loved her grit when she did that. She never gave up, no matter what happened, she did what had to be done and it was easy to see, how such a tough guy like Conner McCall could fall for a girl like her.
Running away may not have been the most mature reaction (but I must admit that it is understandable) but who would have thought that so much good could come of it?

All her life, since her mother died when she was still young, Liz has been fighting to unite her family and to fit in, to live up to her father's expectations. No easy thing with a man like that, actually, which is also the reason why her whole family is torn apart. Her step-brothers have long since given up on her father, their stepfather but Liz still hopes that one day they will all get along.
With her fiancé turning out to be a callous, profit-seeking bastard, her last hope for achieving her aim dies. It is by running away that she learns what being family really means and that love is worth fighting for.

A light-hearted and easy read, somewhat predictable but with unique characters and a wonderful story. I really enjoyed reading it and will definitely read more books by this author. It was my first book by Laurie LeClaire but hopefully not the last!

The third book in this series and though I liked the banter better in the last book, this one was good as well. Elizabeth Barrington is getting married in about a half hour when her Aunt comes in and talks to her about leaving on another road trip when she declines, and asks if he is the one? She suggests that she go talk to him. That is when her life is changed because she hears him talking to someone about almost being there with getting the prize. Frist I marry the daughter then I will get her father to indorse our new drug it is what I do close the deal. She panics and leaves through an open window and ends up in the back of an old pickup truck. Not knowing that the man driving the driving the truck is the same cowboy that saved her mother veil. When she is discovered by Connor McCall and grandpa, let’s not forget sweet potato. Elizabeth comes up with amnesia. The grand pa comes up with her going with Connor out to the back of the ranch cabin for the week. Though he does not want to take her he does. She surprises him by helping and even riding a horse. He still thinks that she is lying about who she is and by the time they are back at the main house everything comes to a head when grandpas had a heart attack and she calls in a helicopter and her father by using her full given name. Now after he is feeling better is the time for her and Connor to have their talk or make up. The ending of this story is good along with the supporting characters. Overall a good book. There is so much about The Cowboy's Runaway Bride by Laurie LeClair that I adored. It is a sweet, heartwarming story. I appreciated even the quirky circled ending. The first two McCall Brother’s stories were very good but this one is great.

One main reason is that Gramps has a major role, along with his sidekick Sweet Potato. He will always be my favorite McCall man! There are many other reasons too. The entire family rallies around Connor and Eve, even determined-to-find-out-who-Eve-is Sheriff Caleb. Then the other supporting characters of Miss Peaches, Miss Clementine and Aunt Clara added to the charm of this story. The theme of never giving up on family but it is a hard one to practice at times. I was thrilled that there was finally a solution to saving the ranch!!

These all helped to make the story amazing but it is Connor and Lizzie/Eve that are such incredible characters that made this story a true keeper. I loved seeing Eve grow into her own with Connor’s support. I think I was as surprised as she was to see her become a true cowgirl. She seemed to have been lost for most of her life desperate for love. Then Connor is an awesome man, just seeing him with his grandfather told you what kind of person he is; loyal, considerate, honest, hardworking and patience. Great characters in a great story.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley.

The Cowboy's Runaway Bride by Laurie LeClair
This story starts out with Connor and his gramps as they are riding around town and notice a wedding veil just flew out of the top of the limo. He was able to rescue it and return it to the bride. They had not expected an electric shock when their hands met.
Elizabeth Eve was there to get married to Gavin but she had overheard the reason he wanted to marry her-to get to her father's money. She hightailed it out of there to land in the back of a truck and she covered with a tarp. She had hit her head and just curled up and slept til the truck stopped.
She had no idea where she was but the man in front came to investigate the movement in the tarp.
The family welcomed her in, with just her wedding on and no other clothing or possessions. They gave her everything she needed.
Gramps needed Connor to head up to the base headquarters in the mountains and he took Eve with him. He helped her get over her fear of the horses and she learned so much with his guidance about the terrain, animals there and newborns. She even learned how to start the outside fire and cook food on the flames. They had both opened up a bit to each other but he still didn't know exactly why she had run away from the wedding.
Twists and turns and the unimaginable happens.
Great story, can't wait to read more from this author. So detailed descriptions, different age group problems and solutions, scenery, learning more about the local ranch and area.

The Cowboy’s Runaway Bride by Laurie LeClaire, the third book in her McCall Brothers series is a sweet story about finding love, friendship, family and trust. Elizabeth Eve Barrington is getting married only to help create harmony in her family, not because she loves the groom. On her escape out of the church she overhears him telling his boss how he is marrying her for a trophy wife and will get her cardiologist father to endorse a questionable heart medicine after the marriage. Eve, as she goes by now, ran and hid in a parked pick-up truck. Connor McCall is not ready for love, worried more about saving the family ranch and Gramps. When Conn saves a runaway veil and returns it to the bride, he has no idea how that action will affect his future, let alone the electric shock he feels when their hands touch. Out of all the trucks Eve could choose, she picked Connor’s and ends up at the McCall ranch. Eve and Conn share an attraction with lots of chemistry, but can they trust one another with the truth.

I loved reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I laughed, I worried, I cried, and I hoped while I read this story. Ms. LeClaire is a wonderful storyteller who drew me in and did not let go until I read the last page. I definitely recommend this book to other readers.

Didn’t like it

First, the heroine acted like a complete ninny. I like strong characters, and she was just annoying. The punctuation was very bad; if the author isn’t going to use an editor, she should definitely run a grammar check after each chapter, and that should catch all her mistakes.
The heroine was running from a wedding with someone she’d apparently known less than a year. The groom had a nefarious reason for marrying her, so rather than call him out and call off the wedding, the ninny runs. According to her silent musings, the would-be groom had only given her chaste kisses on the cheek and mouth. We’re supposed to believe that a man trying to convince a young, hot woman, to marry him quickly is going to treat her like a sister? And that a woman would agree to marry someone so quickly if passion wasn’t involved? There’s supposed to be a reason the ninny is marrying the groom as well, but the reason is utterly ridiculous, and I fail to see why her reason is any less noble than his.
I won’t read this author again, even if it’s free, like this one was. I can’t believe she’s a “best-selling author.” I couldn’t even make it past the first chapter, although I tried.

I was interested in this book. I have found a new author here. She has made it serious with spots of smiles. Spoiler! Elizabeth wanted a wedding but ran away. Connor found her in a truck bed and his Gramps brought her home. She won't tell what happened. The Sheriff, Caleb, is Connor's oldest brother. She won't tell but Caleb is digging as to her she is. Connor has to go with her to check on their cattle herd. Major Spoiler! For a city girl she falls in fast to help Connor. The ranch needs a good herd to save the ranch. Major Spoiler! Eve is alone with Gramps and he has a heart attack! She calls Caleb, in town! She has to tell Connor, who is out with the cattle.Major Spoiler! Eve doesn't like Caleb for dragging her to tell. She will work to save Gramps! I liked this book. Laurie has good story lines! Her people are so real you fall into the story. Check out this book to see it is for you to enjoy! Don't let this story get away from you! Enjoy reading this book! I volunteered to read and review this book.

Rich people are stupid too...

The premises of the previous two were so dumb, I had to see what the author came up with in this one. She did not disappoint. Or rather, she did. A lot. A bride finds out her groom is a greedy heel and runs off, ending up in the back of Conner's truck, hitting her head and passing out. She pretends she has amnesia because telling the truth would result in what, exactly? A public hanging? Sympathy and assistance? I don't think this author reads books, or she'd know her characters are total nitwits. She's terrified of horses, but no one asks why? They just watch her terror and wait for the author to give her a tearful exposition scene days later. People don't act like this. Even stupid people are going to ask why you're pale, shaking, and clammy atop a horse. I realize this is a romance and there will be therefore be plot holes you could drive a bus through, but there are many authors out there who manage to write witty, believable prose even within the romance boundaries. This was just plain dumb.

I thoroughly enjoyed the writing of Ms. LeClair so much that I will be buying the rest of the books because this is a series a romantic at heart should never miss. It is a sweet love story between a cowboy and the girl raised in the city. Eve is so determined to become the woman she was intended to be because it is what she wants and Connor needs. If the rest of the McCall brothers are as hot as Connor, then they all are sure to be exciting reads. I highly recommend The Cowboy’s Runaway Bride because all of the characters are vivid and amazing. The imagery enables the reader to see the town and everyone who lives in it. If you like cowboys, then the McCall Brother series is the romance read for you.

Lizzie ran away from her wedding because she overheard her groom say some unkind things about her. She hid in Connor's truck. He was on his way home to Honor, Texas. When he discovered her in the back of the truck, he thought something was off about her "amnesia". Connor and Lizzie/Eve was a perfect match after she finally took control of her life, living to please herself, and stopped trying to fix everyone else. Connor had sworn off women, but when she met Eve, electricity filled the air and sparks flew. Loved Aunt Clara, truly a free spirit. Lizzie/Eve saved the day on several occasions, once when she discovered all the art treasures and once when she helped Gramps. Gramps is caring and wise and well loved by his family so getting him help when he really needed it endeared her to the McCall brothers. No, there are elements of the story that are not realistic, but it's a beautiful love story.

The Cowboy's Runaway Bride by Laurie LeClair, starts with a fun "meet cute" between Conner McCall and Elizabeth Eve Barrington when he rescues her flyaway veil. One her wedding day,"Eve" discovers her fiance, Gavin, has been scheming and plotting behind her back to use her doctor father as a way to advance his career. She only wanted to get married so she could repair her stepbrothers' relationship with their mother and second husband. But after her chilling discovery of Gavin's real motives for marriage, she can't go through with her vows and she makes a heart-pounding escape. She becomes a stowaway in a truck and after showing the effects of banging her head, she feigns amnesia. Now she's on the McCall Ranch in Honor, Texas, far from her city life. This story is truly an opposites attract story. A city girl meets a country guy. I enjoyed this story and how the main characters changed once they got to know each other. It is a sweet romance with a HEA.

Despite cold feet Elizabeth Barrington was going to go through with the marriage, but followed her Aunt Clara's advice and snuck over to talk to her groom-to-be first. Dumbstruck by what she overheard, she decided to run out on the wedding.
Desperate to get away, tiring and suffering the stares of the people she passed, she decided to duck into the bed of a truck parked in a restaurant lot. As she decided it was safe to get out, the owners came back and drove away.
Finding the bride in the truck bed on their way home was a great shock to Connor and Left McCall, and it was even more so when the bride claimed amnesia.
This sweet western romantic tale is well told and makes you want to root for the run away bride and Connor. The family values embraced by the McCalls are ones many long to have.
I requested and was granted an ARC of this sweet uplifting book.

This is the first book by Laurie LeClair that I have read and I must say I totally enjoyed every word. This is my honest and voluntary review of this book that I read. This book is a great cowboy story with great characters and is part 3 of a series. I would love to read the first two books to learn more about Conner’s two brothers and to read more about Conner’s Gramps and Sweet Potato the pet miniature horse.
Elizabeth Eve Barrington has always done the right thing for her family and her father the renown heart surgeon. Elizabeth learns on her wedding day that her groom is just using her to get to her father to make a financial gain for himself. She runs from the church and hides in the back of a pickup truck to get as far out of Dallas as possible.

Connor McCall is in Dallas to get parts for the family farm with his Gramps and Sweet Potato for the day. On their way home to Honor, Texas Conner discovers an extra passenger in his truck. A Runaway Bride claiming to have amnesia. She tells Conner her name is Eve and she does not know how she got into his truck.

Connor believes she is hiding something but agrees to take her home to the family farm. Things do not go the way he hoped and he finds himself alone with her for a week working on the outer fields of the farm.
Can either of them fight the attraction they both have for each other?
What will happen when Conner learns the truth about Eve?

Elizabeth is getting married for the wrong reason. On her wedding day, in the bride's room she decides she can't do it and turns into the runaway bride. Later when Conner and his gramps are driving from the city to their home in Honor Texas, they find a stowaway in the back of their pick up. Enter Elizabeth pretending to have lost her memory. They bring her to their ranch with the intention of helping her find out who she is so her loved ones know she is safe. There is a spark between Conner and Elizabeth that only grows the more they spend time together. Our cowboy is such a gentleman, almost to a fault. You can't help but want a man like Conner in your own day dreams. When Elizabeth finally comes clean will Conner be understanding or will he protect his heart? Great story.

When a Bride's veil blew out the window of a limo Conner watched it sail on a gust of wind till it hung up between his side mirror and his truck, he grabbed it and rushed after the car to return it to her, as he pushed the veil through the window and her fingers brushed his arm as she took it they both felt a current as their skin meet an instant sizzle, she breathed a husky " thank you" and the car moved forward and he thought he would never see her again, he was wrong.
What Elizabeth over heard her intended say changed everything, she could never marry him now, she fled the church with no plan where to go or what to do,her whole life changing in that instant.
The story has characters you'll just love and a plot that's country delicious, its so worth the read.

Could have been better.
I had mixed feelings about this book. I loved the beginning and the escape from the wedding but I don’t know why she had to feign amnesia. It wasn’t as if she was underage, why would any of the authorities have been interested in her? Instead the sheriff was put to a lot of trouble, effort and presumably, taxpayers money in trying to identify her. I enjoyed the descriptions of ranch life and the character of Gramps was delightful but I found the ending rushed and a little confusing. The dozen or so typos were also a factor in my enjoyment as they interrupted the flow of my reading. This is the first book I have read by this author and I will probably try another book by her just to see if I enjoy it more.

Leclare/the cowboy,a runaway bride

Thoroughly enjoyed the story of the McCall clan connor, his brothers and gramps and his pet miniature horse named sweet potato and of course eve the name she gave the McCall clan . She snuck in back of connor truck to get away from marrying the man she found out was using her. By going on this journey she found herself and discovered things about herself she never realize before, it was a journey of self worth, finding love with a cowboy and his family and finally getting love and respect from her father who closed himself off after her mother passed when she was 8yrs old and for over her feared of horse's because of related incident with her mother. Very well written . Would recommend this book , it's a feel good book .

Conner doubted if the small town could provide him with a woman, who wanted a life on a ranch. Veil blowing in the winds, Connor caught and returned it to a hand sticking out the window of a limo. A brush of her fingers sent a current through him,
Elizabeth though of this rugged cowboy who risked darting traffic to return
her late mother’s veil. A knight with a cowboy hat, and a magic touch.
Her free loving aunt made it to the church, wondering what happened to the happy little girl. Telling her the caddie was all her’s if she had a change of heart, and wanted to take off. Her aunt seen the doubt in her eyes, after four marriages and divorces, she knew. Daddy approves, but does your heart. Delightful look at one’s love before marriage, if you had an aunt Clare around.
