Kisetsu

About the author

Ciro Cibelli

Ciro Cibelli is an Italian writer, cosplayer and translator. He started to write poems when he was 12. Two collection of poems were published in 2011 and 2012, following a hiatus of 5 years from publications. In 2017, "Kisetsu" – his first novel – was published. Despite that, the deep poetry influence from hermetic authors like Giuseppe Ungaretti is still evident, as well as the influence from philosophers like Friedrich Nietzsche, Arthur Schopenhauer and Søren Kierkegaard, in which the existential nihilism is often remarked, to the point that the entire scenario of the book can be interpreted as metaphor of this thinking.
