Enjoy this sweet romance by best-selling author, Taylor Hart.
Logan Slade, quarterback for the Los Angelos Wave, likes being the center of the press, likes having his movie star fiancée vlog about their crazy life, and likes letting everyone on his team know he’s the top dog. When he takes a hit during a practice scrimmage that puts him in a coma, he never would have expected to wake up and not remember the last eight years of his life.

The tenacious and recently divorced, Paris Ford, couldn’t believe her high school sweetheart would utter her name on national television right before going into a coma. They’d been over a long time and even though her event planning company works for him, she doesn’t want or need him in her life. Too bad he shows up at her grandfather’s old cabin—the one she’s hiding out in--and too bad he kisses her. Good thing she slaps him and tells him to go away.

Logan’s never been good at taking no for an answer and after spending a night in the boat house, he finally convinces her—with a bit of blackmail—to help him remember his life. After all, he still loves her and should be married to her. He needs answers and she’s the only one who can give them to him.

When the trip down memory lane becomes more complicated then either of them could have expected, they have to make a choice—let go of the past or try one last ‘hail mary.’

A note from the author:

Thanks for visiting my Goodreads page.

I wanted to tell something meaningful about myself, but let's start with the important stuff--I love swoon-worthy heroes. The kind of heroes that are strong and would take a bullet for you, but also want to open your door and listen to you pour out your heart.

What else? I grew up moving. If you’ve read my books, you won’t be surprised by this. I have a lot of moving themes through my books centered around characters experiencing pain from someone moving.

It was hard. But, I believe there’s always a seed of good that comes out of everything hard, so I think the best thing that came from it was that I learned to love books.

And I had to learn a lot of mad skills on friend making. It gave me a love of people…good people, compassionate people. Interesting people of all kinds.

What else about me? I am a mother and wife! I have four amazing boys that are like little ninjas running around. I love them so much and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband who doesn’t get intimidated by all the billionaire men in my life.

I have a fierce love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him and for the healing and forgiveness I’ve gotten to experience in my life. This is a theme in many of my books.

I love being an American. I am so proud of the men and women that support and preserve our freedom. This is another theme you will find in my books.

I am so grateful for my fans and for the support and love you all show me! Don’t stop reading!

Hugs-

Taylor

I love Taylor's books. I love that they are on kindle unlimited! I always watch for new books from Taylor and pick them up right away. Her books are fun and have just the right amount of angst and butterflies. I really loved this one. Second chance at first love stories always get me. :)

Romance, clean
This was another cute, fun read by Taylor Hart. I have enjoyed this series with the football players and the women who catch their hearts.
Logan, a famous professional quarterback, after being hit during practice, and losing consciousness, loses his memory and forgets everything in his present, but remembers his High School girlfriend who he hopes and plans to marry.
His sincere wish and desire to figure out his 'present' (in his mind the past) and find what happened to his one true love and his heart, leads him back to Paris. She helps him hide from the press and regain some of his memories. As they reconnect, he senses Paris isn't telling him everything. The past is uncovered bit by bit, and Logan has to reconcile his past and present, and choose between what his heart wants, and what he has chosen in the past and his present. Will his heart help him regain his memories?
Cute premise, and very moving. Obviously, a discussion of values and what makes a good relationship, and of course, how to heal hurts in the past. Lovely moments that they relived, and rehashed, and of course, some great attraction. Light, fun read, but with a clear hope for a 'real' relationship with heart.
Always love reading a HEA.
Some mild Christian faith elements (mentioning of church and faith).

1.5 stars. The writing was easy to read and I enjoyed the dual povs, but I did not like this story.

The book was ok, it was a clean romance. I want to say it was a Christian romance but not to much about the church. (Which is a plus in my book). Over all I think the h forgave the H to easily but the book was a quick read. Kinda got a little drawn out for me cause I started to loose interest but for a clean romance it was ok.

Enjoyed.

Content: Clean (but does mention sex and some more adult themes but nothing on the pages)

Needs a better editor. They met 6 months ago and were engaged 3 months ago according to the timeline. Yet a year ago they announced their engagement at an event together?

Sweet romance again

Poor Paris has had a rough go of life. She had a boyfriend that she desperately loved (Logan) and he loved her, until one day when things change and everything goes downhill from there. She marries Shane, has a baby, Shane cheats on her, and then Logan has a concussion and can't remember the last 8 years, so he's still in love with her. I really didn't like the character he had become and details I didn't want. There's talk of things having happened with no details. I loved their friendship and how things work out!

Amnesia stories are always interesting. I liked that in this one Logan's amnesia allowed him to find his true self. The connection between him and Paris was undeniable. I was so happy to read their story and how they got back together. It was fun to also see some of the other Jackson stars from other books.

“All, right, I’m throwing this Hail Mary for you and I’m praying that you’ll catch it … and you’ll save me .”

-“I was thinking today that in some games you don’t see a way out of losing. The team’s been stinking it up, you’re behind, it’s the end of the game, and then it’s like the field clears and there’s this perfect opportunity and I just let the ball go and let it ride and bam! It hits the end zone and we win the game. And that’s what’s happening now.” His eyes misted. “Just like that championship game I missed. But this time, Pear, I’m here. This is it. This … we can change things. We can do it differently .”-

Great story! I could see this as a Hallmark movie. I'm not a football fan by any stretch of the imagination, but Taylor Hart wrote this story in such a way that I understood all of the terms. There are several characters from previous books linked in here but it doesn't impede the story if you haven't read the previous books. There aren't any real big twists in the plot and it is quite predictable but it's a fun, clean romance and well worth picking up. I highly recommend it.

The book was solid... Probably one of the best that I've read by these authors. You're caught up in the mystery and the intensity. The plot moved along and develops in a very artful way. It's a huge task to move smoothly between past and present to create a timeline, to develop a plot. These authors did it beautifully. However, the ending of the book seemed to undermine all the character and story development. It's like they just threw it all in the trash, handing it over to a weak gimme of an ending that doesn't at all reflect the hard work and trials the female protagonist went through. I just don't understand how she could make such a decision. I felt if she was being true to herself and the development... to her strength and sacrifice that she would have required more from the male protagonist. I was so disappointed. For that alone, I couldn't give it 5 stars. I rarely give them out...I only do so for books that require soul searching and have emotional or intellectual impact. This one had that, but threw it all away with the ending. The ending completely undid all of that meaningful growth. It disregarded the emotional complexities of this book with one word, one action. So disappointed.

So dang good. I love these deep, fast, sweet romances. Great for a summer read. I love the forgiveness and letting go of the past. I also am partial to this story because I was I an accident and the only reason I didn't go into a coma was because the lady in the ambulance kept slapping me awake to which I am grateful. When I came to though I had memory loss from childhood up. I still don't have the year prior to the accident but I had a boyfriend at the time and to this day still don't know why I was with him at the time. Funny now, but it freaked me out then. So I totally connected with him. Great story.

This was a fun, clean, quick read. I really like the premise of the story. It isn't done very much. I liked how well the author painted the difference in Logan's character before and after. He was slimey at the beginning I did not like him. I liked the MC's history together. The only part of the book I didn't really like was toward the end when all the billionaires got together to save the day. It all got to be a little ridiculous. And I had a love/hate relationship with Shane. He was such a jerk most of the time, but he really came through at the end. It seemed almost out of character, though. I'm still up in the air about whether or not I'd read it again.

It was okay, but the pacing felt off to me. A lot of the book was spent with him wanting to know why they had broken up and her keeping it this big secret. Then the "reveals" and the resolution felt really rushed. Especially considering he had a head injury basically all of the book and it sounded like her divorce was pretty recent, so I would expect a little more difficulty getting to the resolution. I also really hated the nature of her relationship with her ex, it made me sad. I actually think I kind of liked him more than the lead guy.

Give Me A Chance

Logan has a concussion and has forgotten the last 8 years of his life. He wants to find his ex-girlfriend Paris. Will finding her help him get those years back? In the game of football many players get concussions so this is a believable experience to read about. Taylor has written another wonderful story with strong and believable characters. I really enjoyed this book.

Hail Mary

This gets 4 stars because someone needs to edit better. There is a couple of pages where the author is mentioning Paris' dad but calls him grandpa instead. You get confused for sure. Otherwise a good clean read. Love the idea of doing life over again and erasing our mistakes.

Love this book

Once again Taylor Hart has given us a wonderful story of love and forgiveness and redemption and faith. I really enjoyed this story because it was one where forgiveness was one of the main topics and God's forgiveness being extended to us allowing us to forgive others also.

Spectacular romantic book!!!!

This may be my absolute favorite romantic book, and I’ve read plenty! The two main characters are just so great and perfect for each other. Some surprises also add to the excellence of the book! Love how the book showed true faith, forgiveness, and absolute love!! A perfect romantic book!!!

Meet me Halfway

I love football and I really loved Logan. His charachters was portrayed as a sexy, strong and loving man while his “friend” Paris was a strong ,demanding and sometimes cranky woman. Their time together in this book could goon forever. It was sexual and romantic with some good tussles in between.

Great second chance love story.

I enjoyed re-reading this story. The fight to discover what happened during the eight years that Logan has no memory. The fight she gives to push past the fear and let the love rebirth is well developed. I recommend this story for the young adult reader. The importance of forgiveness was important to healing that needed to take place.

This book will pull you in from the very beginning. If you read this book give yourself plenty of time to finish it because you won't want to put it down until the end. Nice clean romance. I liked the theme of forgiveness. It has elements that aren't quite compatible with real life but is still mostly entertaining.

This was cute, fun, fast paced and relatively short. The premise of amnesia and forgetting 8 years was particularly interesting. Ms Hart did an excellent job of making a likable character out of a rich, egotistical, shallow jerk.

Can memories last forever?

Childhood sweethearts grow up & change. Some become stars, some don't. Can you go back in time to when you were in love? Logan wants everything the way it was after high school, but a lot has happened.
This sweet contemporary romance is another winner!

Very enjoyable story

Anyone who likes a clean, sweet, second chance romance will enjoy this story. The memory loss element created the right amount of drama, not too intense, but not too light.

I enjoyed reading this second chance romance for Logan and Paris, they planned to get married, but things took them apart. Logan loses his memory and goes back to age 18 and remembers nothing of the last 8 years. This story shows how important forgiveness is and how love will win.
