Tara Tyler's middle grade adventure entitled Two Princesses (Unconventional Princesses Book 2) is a fun read about two unlikely princesses from different lands who meet. The Troll King sends his trouble-making daughter Deja to the humans to help her learn she can’t always do as she pleases. But once there, Deja discovers that all humans aren’t as bad as she thought. She befriends Calleah, the human princess, whom she is assigned to serve in the human world.

This is a story about accepting people for who they are and finding true friendship. The two princesses grow and learn from each other. They discover the true meaning of trust. But the story is also about true love. Unaware of the pact between their respective parents to keep peace in their kingdoms, Calleah falls in love with Deja’s troll brother Drax. Through miscommunication, the plot complicates and the action builds until there is a battle between the two princesses. Will the two kingdoms return to fighting? Will the princesses find true love? This is a great read for any young person interested in fantasy and adventure.
