Loved this story. Great characters. Nice flow. With the exception of introducing a new character that aunt explained in the story, I found little fault. I smiled and cried along with them. Great ending as well.
In this book the author explains the life of Amaya Dawson and her experiences going to university. Having planned to stay in an apartment with another girl, her plans come to a crashing halt after finding out that the girl decided to transfer to a different university. With family problems and financial issues, Amaya struggles to pay for the apartment all by herself. Thus, she decides to send a university offer to the students at the university to live with her and pay for half of the apartment. Theodore Thompson, a well known football player, decides to take this offer as he is also looking for an apartment. The novel continues explaining the events that occurred between Amaya and Theodore after having moved together. The overall book was very cute and fun to read. I really liked the character development and part of the plot twists that occurred throughout the story. Although the novel was somewhat cliche, the plot twists made the novel unique. The baseline of the story never gets boring there is always something happening, thus keeping the audience intrigued and entertained. However, something that I didn’t really enjoy was the character development. In parts of the story there was a lack of personality in the characters, they would change moods extremely quickly and unrealistically. However, the baseline of the story was entertaining and enjoyable.
