Very, very short story that is clearly the start of a longer one. None of the characters particularly appealed to me, they were all walking stereotypes. The workplace bully, the unfair boss, the plain Jane, the rich, attractive man and the jealous, posh woman. Even the mysterious book has not intrigued me enough to want to read any further in this series.

Jane's workplace is toxic for her, no matter what happens she gets blamed. The one day she gets a little good news is the push she needs to start a new adventure. This new adventure will just be what she needs in her life.

This book was way too short to be this boring it could have been a sexy little novella but it was awkward story and 1 page of fade to black sexy time. ...

From what I was offered for this book I thought it was very good. However, I would have liked the entire book and not small segments.
