One luxury building holds six penthouse apartments owned by kinky Manhattanites. Their sizzling stories will be told throughout the Penthouse Pleasures series from New York Times bestselling authors Opal Carew, Jayne Rylon, and Avery Aster. From trailer trash to elite New York City lawyer, Casey Clark has transformed her life. There’s only one change she regrets. The one that left her blazing her trail alone. Her tough ex-boyfriend Jace West has made a career of protecting people in bad situations, just like he always did for her. When Casey finds something in her new penthouse apartment that could put her in danger, he’s the first one to volunteer to keep her body safe—even if it puts their hearts at risk again. Jace counts on his partner Ian to chaperone his alone time with Casey. Instead, it seems the guy balances out Jace’s rough edges with a suave sophistication Casey always craved. The combination has the potential to fill the void in her life that money, power, and ambition can’t…if she’s bold enough to take what she wants from each of them. Venturing into taboo territory, Casey could become the woman Jace has always needed. The kind who’s enough for not just one super sexy man, but two of them.

This was a fun, steamy read with a little mystery/suspense tossed in and a lot of heart all packed into one very well written novella. Within the first moments of Casey, Jace and Ian colliding I wanted them to find a way to have a future together. Even though things move quickly, there was a sense of balance and rightness ~ and all kinds of smexy as hell sparks ~ between them, even with Casey and Jace’s issues stirring the pot a little, which actually brought them together a lot faster than had the never existed. I ended up falling in love with Ian (I’m thinking I need an Ian in my life), but loved Casey and Jace as well. I’m quite picky when it comes to menage romances and while this one doesn’t fulfill everything I like to happen, I find that it doesn’t bother me here because the emotional connect rans quite deep so it worked for me in the end.
The writing was engaging and was quite seamless, considering that three authors were dipping their proverbial pens into the pot and I liked how the little mystery/suspense issue was dealt with. If you’re looking for a quick, low on drama and angst and high on smexy and heart read, then pick up this little novella. You won’t be sorry!

4 Star Review Taboo (Penthouse Pleasures Book 1) by Jayne Rylon, Opal Carew and Avery Aster
The first in a new series and although Jayne Rylon was the only author I had read previously I was interested to read this book.
A quick fun read set amidst the bright lights of Manhattan revolving around the lives of six penthouse apartment owners.
This story resolves around lawyer Casey Clark and is a second chance at love story with a twist. The one who got away her ex-boyfriend Jace West, a detective.
Jace returns to her life when Casey discovers something in her new penthouse that puts her in potential danger, she knows she has no choice but to call the police.
Of course as soon as Jace hears the report, he immediately heads to the penthouse with his partner Ian.
The sparks are still there between Casey and Jace however Casey is also attracted to Ian. Do they take a chance and re-kindle their relationship, adding in Ian? Could this be what they have all been missing? You'll have to read Taboo to find out.
Although I did feel that the book was a little rushed, the secondary characters of the apartment manager and the ex-priest were great and I look forward to reading more in the series.
**This was given to me free from the author for an unbiased review**
I enjoyed this. It had a lot of potential. However, it felt a bit short, a bit rushed. Also, my review might be a little clouded because I started it the day before I went to a funeral, and didn't get a chance to pick it back up until today.
So, the negative. There was nearly zero character development for Ian, Jace's partner. And the character development that there was for Casey and Jace... well... Jace has a temper and likes to use his fists. That's about the depth of his development. Also, it never happens that people who go through police academy with end up being partners.. at least not for a REALLLLLLY long time. Rookies get paired with veterans. For a reason. You cannot put two rookies together and expect them to be good at their jobs.
Casey... well she was trailer trash with OCD, who somehow not only paid her way into College (not even mention of scholarships, but a 'pie in the sky college fund'), got a top notch job, and then landed a penthouse 'in one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods'. That just seemed too far fetched for me to relate to her. That doesn't happen. Even though she got the penthouse through loopholes and 'dramatically reduced' price... to be honest, the amount of space that it was supposed to be, where it was supposed to be... it would still be millions of dollars.. Emphasis on the S at the end of millions. That is how NYC works.
Yes, I know these books are escapism. But still...
So we were then thrown into this hot and heavy menage fun times, because these cops are supposed to be protecting her.
They kind of actually do quite the crap job at it, since they spent the entire time screwing her. And the only reason that they caught the bad guy was because
There was literally no development with the bad guy. Never even learned his name. And it was "The boss will kill me if I talk." but it's okay, he's going to flip because they pointed out that he'll be easy for the boss to kill in jail. And that is the sum total of the bad guy plot. Oh, and the end of the book.
Even with those negatives, I did enjoy it. The smexy stuff was well done. I kept wanting there to be some M/M action, but it's okay that there wasn't.
I fell in love with Jayne Rylon's menage stories three years ago when I read her Powertools series. Taboo is the first book in the new Penthouse Pleasures series by Jayne and two other great authors, Opal Carew and Avery Aster. Based on this first book, I know I'm going to enjoy this series as much as Powertools.
Casey Clark has finally made it. She's just moved into a prestigious New York apartment and she's got her dream job of corporate lawyer. When she was poor white-trash Jace West was her boyfriend and her one regret is leaving him behind.
Jace and Casey reconnect when he is assigned as the detective to investigate suspicious files she found in the safe of her new home. The attraction is still there between them but can they make things work all these years later? And how will Jace's detective partner, Ian figure into things?
This is a relatively short book (116 pages per Amazon) but it sure packs punch. I love second chance stories and Jace and Casey get another chance at happiness, with a twist. The sex scenes are scorching and the fast paced writing kept me glued to my ereader until I finished the last page.
I'm looking forward to reading the remaining stories in this series.
An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
Oh, hello Penthouse Pleasures series. I can’t wait to get to know your residents a bit better.
First tenant we meet is Casey Clark. She’s made her mark in the business world—now she’s ready to make her mark in her personal life.
Jace West is a protector—and a lover. Especially when it comes to the memory of loving Casey and protecting her now against the unknown danger from the discovery in her apartment.
Ian Ross is Jace’s partner professionally and personally. Ian smooths Jace’s rough edges at work and at play and is just the man to bridge Jace and Casey’s love.
I love a bit of mystery along with my romance. I also love smart, sexy, relatable characters. I got all this and some seriously sexy times between them in Taboo. I loved the back history between Jace and Casey. Loved how Ian sewed them all together. I found myself swooning, sighing, aggravated, and satisfied and totally intrigued by the rest of the residents. I can’t wait for more in the series! ~ Missy, 5 stars
If you want to read a steamy, hot story then you can never go wrong with one written by Jayne Rylon. She once again gives us two very sexy men and one extremely lucky lady in her latest release, Taboo. She got me hooked right from the beginning and I could not stop reading until I reached the end. Jace and Casey have a history together and are once again in each other's lives when danger lurks and he is there to protect her along with his partner, Ian. Ian brings calmness and balance to Jace's world, both professionally and personally and Casey is on the receiving end of all that pleasure. I enjoyed seeing Casey and Jace recapture what they lost and also see her and Ian develop real feelings for one another. This was a quick yet very satisfying read and I cannot wait to read more in this new series.
This was a hot, quick, sexy read about second chances and acceptance.
Casey and Jace grew up dirt poor and not in the best of circumstances, but they had each other, and, eventually, a fiery sexual spark that couldn't be contained. When they were too young to understand things completely, she learned of his wants for menage, and she left. He didn't understand, so he let her go, thinking it was for the best
A decade later they meet again, where she is the now the successful lawyer and he is the police detective. He and his partner have shown up to protect her from an imminent threat to her from her new apartment. The sparks are still there, but what do they do with them? Also, there are some crazy vibes going on with his partner, him, and her. Add in the apartment manager, the ex-priest and his fabulous dog, and the scene is set for an amazing story!
This is a MFM menage book and it's a good one. It's a hot fast read that could result in needing a cold drink handy. It has a little of everything suspense, heat, and heart. Casey may just get a second chance with the one that got away. I liked watching Jace and Casey reconnect, but now they have another person in the mix Jace's partner on the force. Ian is the perfect person to calm Jace and take care of Casey. The big question is will Casey be able to accept that lifestyle. Things get quite steamy between the three. I'm looking forward to more from this series.
I really loved this one. Very hot and emotional. Second chances and new. Ian and Jace complement each other beautifully and together with Casey are explosive and everything she’s wanted and needed. The background and history between Casey and Jace along with Ian and Jace’s subsequent years of friendship make for quite a meeting in upsetting circumstances when Casey discovers papers in her new home that could potentially put her in danger along with the rest of the Penthouse floor residents. ~ARC gifted by author. This is my voluntary, honest review.~
Review copy kindly provided by the author in exchange for a honest review I must admit it has been a hot minute since I have something hot like Taboo. With my mood more leaning to fantasy and mystery genre then anything else of late. Romance has taken a back step surprisingly which is weird for me . Until Taboo came across my radar and I was immediately intrigued with this story.
Taboo is a second chance story but it is with a difference. There is no sweet romance with this book. It’s totally down and dirty. As this series isn’t named penthouse pleasures for nothing as these men and woman of this building definitely know how to explore their pleasures and have a good time. Kicking of the series, is the newest resident Casey who has just moved in the building . She is a rags to rich story , thanks to her hard work and now has everything she dreamed of . Well nearly, the man of her dreams is out of her reach. He broke her heart and why would she want Jace back in her life. She moved on or has she ?
What if she could have the perfect life she dreamed with Jace and more then she ever expected. Taboo explores this in a cleverly thought out plot involving a mystery and two sexy detectives. One who happens to be the same Jace in question. It has been years since the two crossed paths and they are both older and wiser. What is there to stop picking where things left off?
Well Taboo is no ordinary second chance romance. If you want all sunshine and rays this will not a book for you. As these penthouses have plenty of secrets and of course action. It wasn’t all fun and play, this story had an depth and I loved the secondary characters we met along the way. I do hope all the characters do pop up in the next contribution from this author as it was an interesting cast and I won’t forget certain moments. Definitely a must read for those who love something hot and want to be entertained as well.

Review:
Super quick and sexy read about Casey who moves into a new penthouse and soon becomes embroiled in a mystery. The mystery brings back together childhood loves Casey and Jace. The sharing/menage that tore them apart when they were younger, is more titillating as adults. Ian is Jace's friend and partner on the police force and third in this relationship. As the story unfolds the three grow closer, get sexy and then have to protect each other.
Enjoyable read from start to finish.
4Stars *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book provided by the Author.*
I definitely want to start out by saying that if you don't look at the book cover, and haven't read the description, if a MMF menage isn't your thing, then I would skip this book completely. HOWEVER, if it is something you enjoy reading, then you will definitely love Taboo.
It was an extremely fun, quick read and was totally hot hot HOT. Casey and Jace have a long history. They were supposed to end up together forever, but after finding out that Jace had been hiding some crucial things from her, she decides to leave home and move on on her own. Now she is in NYC living in the penthouse apartment and working as a lawyer, and she is ready to prove to herself and others that she isn't the same girl she used to be that grew up in a trailer park.
Of course, life has other plans for her, because on her first night in the new place, she discovers something in a safe that uncovers some secrets she definitely wasn't supposed to find. This could even put her in potential danger if the wrong people find out.
Jace and Ian end up being the two cops that show up at her apartment, and sparks are instantly flying. Will Casey and Jace be able to clear the air and reconcile everything that happened between them 10 years ago? Also, will the three of them be able to give in to the passion igniting between them and have a future TOGETHER? You'll have to read to see what happens! Definitely cannot wait for the next installment in the series!
This is the first book in the exciting new multi-author series, Penthouse Pleasures. With the interesting storyline, complex characters you can't help but love, erotic intimate scenes, humor, mystery, suspense, and intriguing twists, this emotional roller-coaster of a story will be steaming up your e-reader right from the start. This was a great story, and a terrific beginning to this exciting new series. I can't wait to see where the next story leads.
I really enjoyed this book, and I'm sure you're wondering why I gave it 3 1/2 - 4 stars if it was so great. I liked the plot, characters, overall it kept my interest, and the intimate scenes were smokin' hot. However, there was something missing. I'm not sure if it was the length of the book, that this didn't have the emotional depth of her previous stories, or what it was exactly, but I wasn't able to connect with this story as well as I had with her previous books. Maybe my expectations were too high, but this story didn't fully capture me like I've come to expect from this authors work.
This was a great story, and I love the idea of this new series. I'm looking forward to reading them all, and can't wait for the next one. I strongly recommend this book, series, and fantastic author!
I have voluntarily reviewed this arc provided by the author.
Mystery and a missing person bring two people back together and sparks fly when a third is added. Casey has just moved into an apartment of a missing man. While she's unpacking, she finds a secret safe and inside are strange documents. When the detectives show up to question her, she has to face her ex love of her life. Jason had desires that he tried to suppress while with her but just couldn't. Even though Casey wanted to try back then, Jase couldn't bring himself to share. That was years ago. They've both grown up since then. Jase still has the desire to share but now he has Ian. Ian balances Jase out. And Ian desires Casey. So while they are protecting Casey, why not explore what is between them? I loved how the story developed between these three. Casey and Jase already have a loving relationship established but throwing Ian into the mix is perfect. Jase is afraid of what he might do and Ian is there to balance him out. They are the perfect man together. And Casey is a lucky woman to have all of that attention. I do wish the mystery of the papers and the disappearing man were more explored but I'll have to wait to read the rest of the series to find out if there's more.
Taboo is the first in a 6 part series about the residents in a posh Manhattan high rise. This first story features Casey & Jace who were high school sweethearts. They had a misunderstanding that led to a fight that ended their relationship all those years ago, however neither one of them was ever truly able to stop loving the other. Casey gets her life in order and moves into an apartment of a missing man. While she is unpacking she finds some papers that could be important to the police case involving him. The detective on the case happens to be her old high school sweetheart Jace. He has very unique desires that he tried to suppress while with her but couldn't, which caused the misunderstanding. Nowadays Jace has his partner Ian to help balance him out. Together they protect Casey when she refuses to leave her new apartment and show her exactly what it would mean to be with Jase again after all these years. In the beginning they all think it is for fun and while they are protecting her but what happens when all three of them start to develop feelings and become invested in each other? Can a relationship work? Are they all willing to try? This was another great story by amazing authors. I received an ARC for an honest review.
Romance, action, suspense, a great combination for another awesome book!
Casey is smart, straight forward, outgoing and strong. She knows what she wants and decides to go for it. Love that in a female character. The detectives she meets when she calls about mysterious finds in her new apartment-HOT! Jace and Ian are intense, strong male characters. I love that they readily admit their relationship. The men are comfortable with each other and their relationship that they can be honest and make a quick decision about what it is that they will do. The men balance one another, where Casey and Jace were hot and explosive with one another in the past, Ian can slow down and communicate, he has a way of putting all the cards on the table to try and see if getting back with a long, lost love is possible and finding the woman needed to complete their relationship.
The little bit of mystery and suspense with the thief, and the notes and stolen items was unique and simple. Always an underlying current of possible danger.
Met some peripheral characters that live in the building, and can’t wait to see if they have a story of their own somewhere in this series. Just enough to make you wait eagerly for the next book in the series.
This story is about a woman named Casey who moves into an expensive penthouse in New York. Not even unpacked and she finds a safe in her apartment that doesn't show up on the plans. What's inside the safe is peculiar an possibly dangerous so she calls the police. Fortunately for her one of the police officers is her ex from a decade ago who she hasn't quite got over yet. Jace is a dominant guy and he knows what he wants and that's Casey but if they are to begin their relationship again Casey will have to accept that they will be joined by a third, Ian, Jace's best friend and partner. As Jace and Casey rekindle their romance and she learns to love ménage danger lurks waiting to ruin their newfound love.
This book was a lot of fun and original. I liked that there is a mystery. Who was the person who previously owned the apartment? What happened to him? What are the papers in the safe for? In between all this mystery, Casey, Jace and Ian have some smoking hot sex and begin to come together emotionally as they try and form a new relationship that could last a lifetime. I can't wait to see what will happen in the next books in this series.
**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.**
First, I will start off by saying I will read, without question, anything that Jayne Rylon writes. It’s a given, an auto-buy, whatever you want to call it. She is my kryptonite and I’m perfectly okay with that. There are very few authors I can say that about.
This is an M/F/M romance. I really did enjoy this book but it could have been longer. The chemistry between Casey, Jace and Ian is obvious right off the bat regardless of the fact that Casey and Jace have a history. Ian fit in immediately between them and really I feel that Casey and Ian had a bit more chemistry which threw me off a little. Ian is really what is brings them together in a tighter more cohesive way. It’s brilliant actually. Jace needs Ian to ground him, Casey needs Jace because she’s always loved him and Ian needs to love and be a part of something that missing in his life.
This book has an old-fashioned love story that gets kicked up a notch by adding a new partner, mystery, humor and lots of steamy sex. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the Penthouse Pleasures series. I'm definitely roped in!
Casey Clark is ready to start her new life in a posh Manhattan penthouse until she uncovers a mystery in her apartment that could put her and her neighbors at risk. Casey is anything but surprised to see her ex, a detective, show up after she calls the police. When she makes a stand and refuses to leave her new apartment in fear, Jace and his partner Ian decide to sick around and stand guard. Spending time with Jace brings back old memories, while being with Ian opens new possibilities.
As the first in the new 6-book series, Penthouse Pleasures, Taboo does a great job of setting the tone for the series. We are introduced to a few of the other occupants of this luxury building and the mystery linking all of the penthouse suites begins to unfold.
As a long time fan of Jayne Rylons books, this one did not disappoint. However, there is a lot of story packed into such a short book and I really wish that more of the character's backgrounds and stories were explored.
Overall this was a light and fun read and I can't wait to see who the next book introduces us to!
What a great book! First off this is a MFM ménage book so don’t say that you didn’t know it. Casey has fought her way out of the trailer park and into a top notch lawyer’s position but there have been regrets along the way. She can’t stop thinking about Jace, who she left behind because she couldn’t trust him anymore. She has just bought “the” penthouse apartment that proves she has made it to the top against all odds. As she’s moving in, she finds a secret safe. And what’s in the safe you ask? It’s definitely not cash and good things to enjoy. This is when Jace and Ian stop up to bat. They are partners in more ways than one. First as friends, then detectives in the city’s police department but the major place they are partners in involves relationships. This is a fast paced book with all kinds of exciting things going on. Plus it has a major case of hot and wild monkey sex! You can’t go wrong with this one. You get a great book written by great authors. What more can you ask for in one book? I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the author.
Casey has finally made it. Her dream of becoming a lawyer in New York City has come true. She has the status and clients and respect she has craved her whole life. After moving into her new luxury penthouse she learns there is a reason the last owner went missing. Because of this she is hit with a blast from her past and that past goes by the name Jace West her ex. Jace and his partner Ian come to investigate what she has found and instead of leaving her they strike up a hot and heavy romance. This book has suspense, heat and hot men who know how to make a women moan and scream in ecstasy. I am an avid reader of Jayne Rylon’s and as always I was not disappointed. Everything happens very quickly and at times I felt like their was more to Ian and Jace than meets the eye. I guess we will just have to wait and see in the next installment of the penthouse pleasures that I will definitely be reading.
I will admit. I love Jayne Rylon’s books. From the very first I read to the latest. I haven’t found anything I do not like. She is an incredibly talented writer who takes the time to create multidimensional characters who are life-like with strengths and weaknesses alike.
Taboo is not the exception. The first book in a new exciting series being co-written by Jayne Rylon, Opal Carew, and Avery Aster called Penthouse Pleasures. Casey is self-made and sacrificed her life to get ahead. Jace knew her before and loved her anyway. Ian is Jace’s partner and a new player to Casey and seems to be what is needed to stick them together and even out the rough edges.
I am very familiar with Jayne’s work but not Opal and Avery however that will be changing. I absolutely loved this book. It was intense, fast paced, and filled with humor and emotion. I couldn’t put this one down. This is MFM and packs a wallop. If you like this genre of books you will not be disappointed. It is also a great one to look into if you are new or want a peek at something taboo…
**Received ARC for a fair and honest review** Casey and Jace met when they were teenagers and parted as star crossed lovers. They meet again at a pivotal point in Casey’s life when she has achieved her goals but still feels something is missing in her life. Their reconnection and her introduction to Ian, Jace’s police partner, takes place over just a few hours of a day. The story seems almost like a novella instead of a stand alone book.
I’m giving Taboo 3 stars because this story didn’t connect with me as most Jayne Rylon's previous books have done. Ms. Rylon’s previous books really drew me in and caused my emotions to connect with the characters and left me wanting to see them again in future stories. Even the intimate scenes were lacking the intensity of feeling if you compare it to her previous works like the Powertools or Hot Rod series.
Amount of sex 3.5 / 5 How explicit 3.5 / 5 Story 4 / 5 Overall: 4 / 5
Taboo is the first book in the Penthouse Pleasures series by Jayne Rylon, Avery Aster, and Opal Carew. This is a steamy second chance romance involving Casey and Jace, who were high school sweethearts. They broke up ten years ago when he could not clarify some rumors about his sexual preferences.
Casey Clark is now a successful lawyer and purchased her first penthouse apartment in NYC. She calls the police after discovering things in her new place and detectives Jace West and his partner Ian arrive. What will happen when Casey and Jace see each other for the first time in ten years? How will Ian react to Casey and Jace’s history?
A steamy first book in this exciting new series. I’m looking forward to the next in the series!
Jayne did it again. Love the new series and can't wait to meet the next penthouse resident.
Jace and Casey were High School Sweethearts. Too bad one little misunderstanding ended their relationship. Had Jace actually expressed his needs they wouldn't have wasted 10 years. But.....fast forward 10 years and Jace is a detective with his best friend and partner Ian, Casey is a corporate attorney and their paths cross. Jace has always been Casey's protector and nothing has changed. So when she is in danger she has two very close and personal guards...very close and personal!!!
Jace has never stopped loving Casey and fate has given him a second chance. He can now come clean about his wants and desires. Ian is along for the ride, until he makes a connection with Casey too.
Casey has spent years trying to prove she's better than her roots. Buying a penthouse apartment at Beekman Place should be the icing on her cake. A secret safe in the apartment brings trouble to Casey's door. Trouble named Jace- the boy Casey left behind- and his partner Ian. Will Casey accept Jace's need to share this time around or will she find herself alone once more? I loved this story! As a huge fan of not only Ms Rylon but Ms Carew as well, I am thrilled at the prospect of this series. I have not read anything by Ms Aster before but I have a feeling I will love her two additions to the series.
*I received an Advance Readers Copy of this book as well as purchasing the print copy. I am voluntarily leaving this review*
One of my favorite tropes is second chance romance, and this one certainly did it for me. Casey is just starting to live the life as she buys a penthouse at a very reduced price because the previous owner is missing. This is where the mystery starts and she finds she needs to involve the police. Jace and Ian are the detectives assigned to her, well because she and Jace had a past.
Here is their chance to reconnect and let bygones be bygones, sparks still fly and Ian is there to hold them together. He and Jace have been having ménages for some time now, Casey is very intrigued.
All three coming together is just spontaneous combustion, those sexy scenes were hot. I know you will enjoy it too!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Casey doesn't expect to be involved in a mystery on the first day in her new apartment but that is exactly what she gets. Working her way up from poverty to a being a successful lawyer, she finally gets the home of her dreams. Unfortunately, the previous owner disappeared under mysterious circumstances but not without leaving behind some damaging information that Casey accidentally stumbles across. Enter a blast from the past, Jace. Once Casey's everything, she left him behind to finish school. Now a police detective, he and his partner Ian are assigned to protect Casey. Can they keep Casey safe and open her eyes to a new life that might be a little taboo? Loved this book and can't wait for the rest of the series!
When I found out Jayne Rylon and Opal Carew were working together on a new sexy series I had a complete fangirl moment. The first story, Taboo is a great beginning to what looks to be a fabulous new series. Caset has turned her life around. Gone ate the trailer trash days and she is now a sought out high profile lawyer. She misses almost nothing about her old life, except her ex. When Casey is in trouble in her new penthouse, Jace is there before she can blink. He isn't sure he can control himself around her. Luckily his partner Ian is there and can chaperone. The only problem is, Ian has almost as much chemistry with Casey as he does. Can these three resist each other or will they give into the taboo temptation.
Sexy, steamy, suspenseful . . . no one ever said that trailer trash had to stay trashy but Casey took all the bad of her world and made good. She just never expected to need protection from the unknown. She never really expected to have the one man back in her life that changed her life. She never expected to have that man and his friend in her life. This trio makes for a delicious read Casey, Jace, and Ian turns things taboo into things that could be so right for them all.
This was an enticing read that gave as good as you would expect from the minds behind the writing. Good characters, intriguing suspense, and sensual exploits that puts all hearts at risk for good or bad. All depends on your viewpoint.
