When Mitch, Dev, and the senior Gideon staff head to Thailand for a conference, they think the rest of the week is going to be spent enjoying the sights with one of their colleagues. Instead, they cross paths with human-traffickers who have abducted some foreign tourists. Teaming up with another K & R firm of merciless fighters, the two groups need to stop a freighter of pirates intent on smuggling out the captives. With time slipping away, Mitch and the others must hunt down the criminals and resort to unconventional fighting methods in a culture still bound by the deadly blade arts.

Mitch and company go to Thailand, to attend a convention for people in the kidnap and ransom business. Within minutes of touching down, they find themselves in pursuit of human traffickers. Some tracking, and a whole lot of knife fighting ensue.

Very exciting.

This is book #7 of this series that I have read and, although short, it's chock full of vital information that all of us should have. Human trafficking and the sex slave business are high-dollar crimes that so many ignore, and when not ignored, can prove fatal. Witness Jeffrey Epstein. In this story, Dev is invited to Thailand to speak at an international conference on kidnapping and ransom, the foundation of her business. She is invited to bring her senior staff with her, so of course Mitch goes along. It is predictable that they run in to a gang practicing all the nasty things we pretend don't exist in our reality. The horrifying nature of these crimes are almost beyond words for me, so I am thankful the JT Sawyer could express himself so well.

Freight

This suspense filled KU library selection follows the Israeli based K&R team Gabriel to a conference in Thailand where they become involved in a case involving young women kidnapped from resorts for the sex trade. What they thought would be quality downtime after the conference becomes a joint op with a local K&R company when Mitch thwarts the abduction of a young girl and uses his tracking skills to follow the thugs. The story is action packed and impossible to put down.

A VACATION IN THAILAND?

Mitch, Dev, Petra. And David travel to Thailand for a symposium on Kidnapping & Rescue. After the symposium, Dev’s counterpart, Phet Aromdee volunteers to be a tour guide for Mitch to see tigers in the wild. What they find instead is human trafficking. As usual, JT Sawyer has woven another action packed adventure with a great storyline, well developed characters, and good vs evil.

I think this is the first time I've read a series that all the books are near 5 stars.

This one was about human trafficking and my heart ached for what was happening. The writing was suburb again, as it has been in this series.

Some crude words and Lord's name used. Filled with suspense, nasty villains, sadness and joy mixed in.

I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. I highly recommend this author. (ljb)

Very disturbing story.

Although this story was fiction, it's very unfortunate that things like this really go on in our world. Very well written though. Looking forward to the next story in the combat tracker series.

Another exciting Mitch Kearns adventure, this time in Thailand. Tigers, puppies, bad guys and damsels in distress. I read late into the night to finish this great story and I think you will not want to put it down.

Another Thriller

This is the 7th book in the Combat Tracker series and each gets a little better than the one before. The story line and unexpected twists and turns keep the reader turning pages. This book took one sitting and I'm waiting for Book 8 to download.
