Pleasant mystery about an older couple planning to marry in Vegas. A rather large cast of characters made it a bit of a challenge to follow or predict the culprit. This was a free copy from our local thrift shop.

Liv McKay’s family and friends fly to Las Vegas, Nevada to see Liv’s mama, Virginia, and her hunka burning love, Earl get hitched and off on their honeymoon in a luxury Winnebago! However, as luck would have it, before the nuptials are completed the Elvis impersonator/minister collapses and is a goner. Suspicious minds want to know just how that happened, and Deputy Dave has some friends in the LVPD who help set up a sting op using Liv as the bait to catch the double-crossing murderers who planned to let mama’s nephew, Little Junior take the rap for the murder.

This fast moving plot is a winner for this reader, and all the Dixie, Tennessee gang is on hand to enjoy the fun and frivolity of Vegas. As expected, plenty of mishaps tickled my funny bone. When everyone returns home to Dixie, the newlyweds are welcomed back with a special reception. This is the fifth book in the series, and I can’t help falling in love with each story.

Party Tips and Recipes included for your enjoyment.

In the installment of the Liv and Di series, Liv's Mama has decided to be married in Las Vegas at an Elvis wedding chapel. The Dixie group of nine family members and close friends flew to fun town for the wedding. They meet Liv's cousin who lives there. He drives a cab when he is not working as an Elvis Impersonator. The group is enjoying the casinos, buffets, and shopping. Di is surprised to find her ex-husband there. All is ready for Mama and Earl wedding. In the middle of the wedding, the minister collapsed. Later it found that he was murder and the police arrest Kid's cousin for the murder. This puts a damper on the wedding plans. Liv and Di decided to find the real culprit. Will they succeed so the wedding will continue? There is a pleasant ending. I highly recommend this book and series. Party tips and recipes are included.

Disclosure: Many thanks to Kensington Books for a review copy. The opinions expressed are my own

Liv, Di, and much of Liv's family is heading to Vegas for Liv's mother's wedding to Earl. They are excited to meet up with Liv's cousin, Little Junior, who is trying to become an Elvis impersonator, but in the meantime is driving a cab in the city. The wedding is supposed to take place in the Burning Love Wedding Chapel, but before the bride and groom can even get to "I Do," the Elvis impersonator who is supposed to be marrying them drops dead. When the police decide it was murder, they begin looking at Liv's cousin as the killer. Even though Liv is far from home, can she still figure out who the killer really is?

I have found the pacing in the series to be off, and this book continues the trend as the murder comes late in the book. We get some set up before that happens, but there is plenty of time spent with some sub-plots early in the book as well. The mystery, when it starts, is strong, providing some fun suspects and surprises before we reach the logical ending. The sub-plots partially allow us to check in with folks back in Dixie, Tennessee, so I'm not complaining too much. Having said that, the sub plot involving Liv's best friend Di and her boyfriend drove me crazy since both of them were behaving stupidly. This book is best for fans of the series since they will fully appreciate some of what happens here. And they will really enjoy this trip.

I finished Til Death Do Us Party last night by VIckie Fee and Oh boy is this a fun book! Best in the series by far! I love this cozy southern series and Vickie Fee captures the southern cozy charm in this one even with the trip to Las Vegas. I did not want to put this book down. It was fun, it was filled with charm, stubbornness, love and mystery as well as a whole lot of Elvis. A great feel good cozy mystery from start to finish. What happens in Vegas only stays in Vegas if you choose. A very good armchair traveler read. Fantastic cover!

This was a great mystery. I felt as if I was right there with the gang in Las Vegas. Well drawn and heart warming characters and a well developed mystery with some humour mixed in.

My favourite character was Liv's cousin Little Junior. He is such a sweet and nice guy. When he was arrested for murder there was no question that Liv and Di had to clear his name and find the real killer.

The story was fast paced and kept my interest from the first to the last page.
I very much enjoyed this installment and I am looking forward to the next one.

I requested this book from NetGalley and am thankful that Kensington and the author provided me with an advance copy.

The vibrant cover, the laugh out loud moments and the intriguing mystery are just a few of the finer points of Til Death Do Us Party by one of my favorite authors, Vickie Fee.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! This group of colorful, quirky characters take their shenanigans to Sin City in preparation for the wedding of Liv's mama and her fiance, Earl.
Daddy Wayne is eating his way through the buffets, Miss Betty is following him around, watching what he eats, Mama is excited, Earl is ready to tie the knot and Little Junior is arrested for murder!

I read this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. It is by far the best in the series.
I had so much fun traveling to Vegas with this fun bunch.
I laughed, I cried and I cheered for all of them.
Fans of this series will love following the gang to Sin City and are sure to laugh out loud at some of the funnier moments.
I would like to thank the author, the publisher and NetGalley for approving me to read this awesome book.
Thank ya, thank ya very much!

Hilarious! From the warm characters to the fun plots, this series always brings an enjoyable read. This one has the gang in Las Vegas for Mama's Elvis themed wedding as she prepares to wed her hunka hunka burnin' love, Earl but everyone is All Shook Up when the Elvis impersonator minister drops dead in the middle of the ceremony. The puzzling plot and many laugh out loud moments (like the Bachelorette party!) made this a very entertaining read. And poor Hard Headed Di, I really felt for her wanting to believe the best in that Hound Dog, but I couldn't understand why Liv kind of left her hanging, there were several times in the book where she just let things drop with Di. Don't be cruel, Liv! I'm not sure how Liv came up with the motive, which was kind of out in left field, but it made for a great surprise twist ending and the sweet wedding and welcome home party were heartwarming and left me with a smile on my face. (and I'm out of Elvis song titles to add!)

All y'all are in for a real treat when Til Death Do Us Party publishes this spring. Liv and Di and a bunch of their friends and relatives have come to Las Vegas to see Liv's Mama marry Earl at an Elvis themed wedding chapel. The change of venue does nothing to dampen the non-stop humor and action. Back home in Dixie, Tennessee, things are also hopping with a reunion that Liv's event planning company is responsible for.
I love the characters in Vickie Fee's delightful series. Quirky and colloquial, yet as real as anyone you'd ever meet. And the names! For example: Uncle Junior and his son, Little Junior.
Fast paced and well plotted, you're gonna love this one!

This is the 4th book in the Liv and Di In Dixie Mystery series and continues what is an entertaining cozy mystery series. This book picks up right where book 3 ended, and the group is in Vegas for Liv's Mama's wedding to Earl. One would hope that Liv and Di could stay our of trouble long enough to see her Mama married, but trouble just follows this duo wherever they go. These characters are so much fun to read about. They have depth, wit and humor. I love the friendship between Liv and Di but the relationships between all of the characters are what make this series engaging. The mystery doesn't occur until about 1/3 through the book, but honestly it didn't detract from the story. I was enjoying reading about the wedding preparations and meeting Liv's cousin, Little Junior. I thought the mystery was well done and was surprised the identity of the killer.

I really enjoy this series and feel honored that the author was kind enough to provide me with an advanced reader copy. If you are a fan of this series, you won't want to miss this installment. I will definitely be back to see what the author has in store next for Liv and Di.

Review:

I love the all of the characters in this book. They are well rounded, well developed and three dimensional. I just think that Liv are Di are the best friends and I love reading about their conversations and the things that they do. They never met a mystery that they did not want to solve, and with this one being more personal, they are ready to go all in. I liked getting to spend more time with Liv’s family and seeing what was happening in their lives.

I really liked the setting of Las Vegas for this book. Having visited there myself, I knew exactly the places that were mentioned and I enjoyed that a lot. It is great when a reader can relate to the setting, it just makes the book more personal. And the Elvis impersonator aspect brought a lot of laughs.

The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy fun read. It allowed me to see the action and locations through the eyes of the characters, which made me more engaged in my reading. The mystery was well plotted and had enough suspects to consider and clues to sift through. I was not fully convinced of the culprit until it was revealed.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy. If you like reading a cozy where the characters feel like friends, and one that has a lot of humor, this is the book for you.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book provided by the publisher, Kensington Books, and NetGalley, which I greatly appreciate.

Another great adventure with Liv and Di! This time, the setting is Vegas and the stakes are higher than ever. Even though it's not set in charming Dixie like the other books in the series (which I prefer), this one still stands out as a fun and engaging cozy.
This is a series where you will need to start at the beginning since there are a lot of characters to get to know. It is well worth it!

Til Death Do Us Party is the fourth installment in the A Liv and Di in Dixie Mystery series featuring party planner Liv McKay and her best friend Di Souther. Liv, her husband Larry Joe, her in-laws Miss Betty and Daddy Wayne, and Di and on again boyfriend Sheriff Dave Davidson are all in Vegas for the wedding of Liv's Mama Virginia to Earl. With Earl recently cleared of a murder charge and Virigina abandoning her over the top wedding plans at Earl's farm, Liv is actually looking forward to the Elvis themed wedding.

Liv's cousin Little Junior lives in Vegas and when not performing as an Elvis impersonator drives a cab and dates a cocktail waitress, Crystal. During the wedding rehearsal it quickly becomes apparent that Little Junior has a beef with the minister and when Elvis takes a nose dive during the ceremony the next day, all fingers point to Junior.

Determined to clear her cousin's name, Liv sets out to track down a killer and hi jinks and hilarity ensue. Between investigating the murder, dealing with Di and a man from her past and trying to keep a handle on the class reunion her company Liv 4 Fun is hosting back home in Dixie, Liv soon understands why Vegas has the nickname "the city that never sleeps".

A laugh out loud addition to a series that just keeps getting better.

I received an advanced copy of Til Death Do Us Party from NetGalley via Kensington Books. While not required to write a review I am more than happy to offer my honest opinion.

**I voluntarily read this ARC**

A fun addition to the series. The mystery was interesting and well written, but a little short and hurried (I believe about 50% of the book from dead body to capturing the murderer). It was almost more of a book about Mama's wedding with murder as a side plot. I also felt that it was missing some of the glitz and glamour associated with Vegas. One thing I love about this series is that all of the main characters' relationships are different.

It is always confusing to read a series book out of order as you don't know the backstory of the characters, but this was still a fun read. Liv and Di (great pun!) are friends from Tennessee, in Las Vegas for the wedding of Liv's mom. Her cousin, known as Little Junior, is an Elvis impersonator there and is happy to show them around town. At the wedding, the Elvis-minister drops dead, and the police believe Little Junior (a known rival) is to blame. I thought it a little odd that the book continued after the killer reveal, but I guess the author had to tie up some strings. The book includes recipes and party planning hints.

Til Death Do Us Party is the fourth book in Vickie Fee’s Liv and Di in Dixie Mystery series. The storyline is well plotted and the characters well developed. The story moved smoothly at a steady pace. This book has quirky characters, laugh out loud moments, and an intriguing mystery. The mystery had enough clues and red herrings to keep me guessing. I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Liv McKay is the owner of a successful party planning business, Liv 4 Fun, in Dixie, Tennessee. Even though Liv McKay and her invaluable assistant, Holly, planned an elaborate wedding for Liv’s mother, Virginia, and her fiancé, Earl, Virginia changed her mind and decided to be married in Las Vegas. Liv and her husband, Larry Joe, Virginia and Earl, her in-laws, Betty and Daddy Wayne McKay, best friend, Di Souther, and Di’s love interest, Sheriff Dave Davidson, travel to Las Vegas. Liv’s first cousin, Little Junior, who lives there, is an Elvis tribute artist who drives a taxi to supplement his income, and offers to drive the wedding party all around town. Di runs into her ex-husband, Jimmy, and Dave turns into a green-eyed monster when he sees her spending time with him. Meanwhile, back in Dixie, Holly is dealing with major last minute problems with a fiftieth class reunion they planned. While visiting the wedding venue, Little Junior gets into a scuffle with Steve Warrick, the Elvis tribute artist/minister who will perform the wedding at the Burning Love Chapel. Steve drops dead before their vows are completed. His death is determined to be murder by poisoning and Little Junior is arrested. Virginia is beside herself and demands that Liv and Di work their investigative magic to find the killer and clear Little Junior’s name.

Vicki Fee has taken us on a long distance trip with Liv to her Mama and Earl‘s wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. One thing after the other happens as the newlyweds try to make their way to the altar of an Elvis-led wedding ceremony.

Plans to come to a screeching halt at the Burning Love Wedding Chapel when their minister and Elvis impersonator is found dead during what fans know as Elvis Week in mid-August. How convenient, yes? Who could possibly have knocked off Elvis?

Was the killer the nephew, the photographer, the lady who runs the chapel, another event planner or Di's ex-husband that has mysteriously appeared back in her life. There are so many people to choose from!

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there unless you’re the one who dies. The action, tragedy, and suspense are wrapped around comedic interactions between the characters I, and I hope readers of the Liv and Di in Dixie Mysteries, have come to love in Liv, Di, Mama, Earl and the whole gang.

I love that Vicki took us out of our usual town of Dixie Tennessee and flew us right in the middle of the crazy confusion of Sin City. It’s nice to get out of town every once in a while, and this is also true for book settings. I love the new venue, I love meeting the new relatives and I love getting a look at the characters when they are out of their element. Just wait till you see Di’s new side, whew boy!

So, who killed Elvis? Vicki has wrapped this new mystery up in a hugely successful way and I can truly say this is the best book out of the series. Who knew I would actually like something with Elvis in it? It’s yet another thing that I did not see coming. Thanks, Vicki!

This was a hoot!
The plot was very well written, the pace was perfect. There didn’t seem to be any rabbit holes to go down, nothing was left unresolved. The clues and red herrings were great. I kind of cheated, and wrote down the suspects in this one (my first time), and tried to write down the clues and red herrings I found. By doing that, I figured out the killer via one main clue, but if I hadn’t done that, I would have not guessed right. No way!
The long term characters continue to grow, they are not stagnant. I love the partnership between the friends when there is sleuthing going on. The parents were. Quite fun in this one, especially the mother-in-law. Some of the things she did were a complete surprise. Especially the bachelorette dinner. Wish I was there to see that! Loved the cousin! He was awesome!
The one good thing about the book specific characters was there was just a few. Some cozy mystery writers add so many secondary and walk on characters the readers get confused! But not this one. I could keep them all straight in my head.
The dialogue was flat out funny. Not too many tags, because you could tell (most of the time) who was talking without any help.
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 was because I felt there wasn’t enough setting description of the parts of Las Vegas everyone would recognize. Yeah, there’s logistics and legalities and all that, but I felt like there should have been some talk about what we all know about Vegas, even if we’ve never been there.
It’s a great fast read. I couldn’t put it down!

Til Death Do Us Party by Vickie Fee, is the fourth book in the Liv and Di series. Liv McKay is a party planner from Dixie, Tennessee. She has her own business called Liv 4 Fun. Di Souther is Liv's best friend and fellow sleuth. In this book Liv, with family and friends, flies to Las Vegas for her mother's wedding. Her mom, Virginia and fiance' Earl, want to be married at a Vegas chapel with an Elvis impersonator to officiate the nuptials. When the impersonator is murdered, it's up to Liv and Di to find the killer in this unfamiliar city.
This is the first book of this series I have read. I didn't feel lost at all. I was able to follow the story and the characters felt like old friends. They were quirky and brought so much humor and fun to the story. Liv's mom was boisterous and spunky. I was laughing from start to finish. The mystery kept me on the edge of my seat, and with its twists and turns, it kept me guessing until the end. There were also party tips and recipes included.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a cozy mystery with quirky characters, funny situations and laugh out loud fun.
I received this ARC copy of this book to review from the author. This is an honest review.

Meet Liv McKay, a Southern Lady to the core and an extraordinary event planner. This time she is in Las Vegas with her best friend, husband and in-laws while she orchestrates her Mama's Elvis-themed wedding. Mama's bachelorette party gets out of hand with some partially clad, hot looking male waiters but the real shocker is when they arrive at the Burning Love Wedding Chapel and find their Elvis-impersonating minister, dead! To add to the confusion, Mama's nephew, Little Junior becomes the police's prime suspect. Can Liv find the real murderer in time to save the wedding ceremony and honeymoon trip? Elvis-impersonators, naughty bachelorette parties, slot machines and murder! What more do you want in a great reading adventure.

This is another rollicking entry in a delightful series that gives us southern charm in the best possible way. The characters are both realistically lovable and laughter inducing wacky. I really like how the murder plots twist thru all the possible suspects, leaving lots of clues but still giving us a surprising ending. I read this in one setting because I couldn't stop laughing and had to find out who really did the dirty deed. This is the fourth book in the series and they are all this funny and entertaining! A must for any cozy mystery reader!

From beginning to the end, this book sucked me right in....what better than a wedding in Las Vegas with a little murder mystery sprinkled in with your usual suspects and quirky family members? I really could relate to this latest entry in the Living and Di in Dixie mysteries, as I got married in Vegas years ago also. The author has written such a fast paced, fluid story that the pages just flew by. My favorite parts were the group dynamics of Liv's eccentric family members and the bond between mother and daughter. I was left at the end of the story sad after Mom finally gets her wedding and Liz wraps everything up nicely, as if I had to say goodbye to some good friends until the next adventure. Absolutely recommend and this cozy can be read as a standalone--it is not necessary to read the others in the series first.

I think this is my favorite so far in the series! (Of course I say that about each book). Mama and Earl are off to Las Vegas to get married, and the gang comes along. Larry Joe and Liv, Di and Dave, and Larry Joes parents. Liv has everything set up, and that includes a "bachelorette party" for Mama. I laughed the whole time reading this part!
The chapel is all ready too, including the Elvis impersonator, but when he keels over, Mama and the gang have a problem. Livs cousin Little Junior becomes a prime suspect, so of course that means Di and Liv set out to investigate.
What happens next is a laugh out loud romp through Las Vegas! We meet lots of interesting characters, and the descriptions make you feel as though you are right there on the Strip with Liv and Di. I was sad to see this book end, as I was having so much fun reading it. I look forward to the next adventure!

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I fell in love with both Liv and Di in the first three books in the series and this one did disappoint. The group travels to Los Vegas in order to marry Liv's momma to the man of her dreams only of course things cannot go smoothly. The Elvis impersonator minister drops dead during the service and Liv's cousin is arrested for his murder. Following these two as they investigate outside their hometown was a hoot though they still managed to pull it off somehow. This book is just full of quirky characters, laughs, drama, a murder, and so much more. If you are a fan of cozy mysteries then this is must read book/series. I absolutely loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Life in Vegas is always a party, as Liv and Di find out in Til Death Do Us Party, the fourth book in Vickie Fee's Liv and Die in Dixie mystery series. The best friends and Liv's family hit the strip for Liv's mama's wedding. The trip gives Liv a reprieve from planning the event--which had been turning into quite a lavish, if quirky, affair. Unfortunately, the best laid plans don't always work out. Before the happy couple can exchange vows (moments before!) the minister (an Elvis impersonator) drops dead. As if that weren't enough to dampen the happy day, it turns out that his death is the result of foul play--and Liv's cousin seems to be on the top of the suspect list.

Vickie Fee creates another quick, fun, and engaging story, managing once again to make this reader feel like she's along for the ride with Liv and Di. And, one of these days, I'll actually figure out who the killer is before it's revealed to me!

Liv and Di in Vegas!!!!! What is not to love about that! This series has me clutching my stomach laughing from beginning to end while still being a spectacular whodunit. With the family in Vegas for Mama and Earl's wedding, the Elvis impersonating minister murdered, and the gang on the loose on the Strip, this is just a book everyone has to read! This series is quickly becoming one of my top ten!

Oh my, who would have thought there would be so much excitement for a Las Vegas Wedding! I love how almost the whole family ventured together to Vegas for the upcoming nuptials. That would be exactly what I would want. Who wouldn’t want their very own Elvis in their family? Seriously! The story was great and the characters even better. Southerners do know how to do crazy and memorable!
