The allegations that Lunev lays out about potential contingency operations in the event of a war between the USSR and USA are shocking. It's very interesting for the reader to go online and research after to see what other sources say about the veracity of these claims.

Not much content, reads like he was telling people what they wanted to hear. Only good parts are the autobiographical bits.

A little bit dry, but the biographical parts are quite entertaining. I also found it interesting to learn even just a smidgeon about how China and Russian operated in the past since US history doesn't do much more than say "these guys are bad!!!"
