Forty years later, computers are indeed in every home, not to forget the devices we carry in our pockets on a daily and hourly basis. Many articles, biography books and a multitude of books on business leaders have since then elaborated on this fascinating business success story and, in most of them, the question is always the was Steve Jobs a good leader? But an important question has largely remained how could Steve Jobs’ business and leadership methods work for you? Or, said differently, what if Steve Jobs was actually coaching you? This ebook isn't another biography of Steve Jobs, though. It provides many examples and contextual elements on Steve Jobs, of course, but it is not another Steve Jobs biography. It is a self-help leadership book focused on the many skills and challenges that have been characteristic of Steve Jobs’ leadership. For instance, how did he deal with the challenge of inspiring people (staff & clients), how did he create revolutionary products, how did he consider client expectations or how did he manage people and team-building work? If Steve Jobs was Coaching You thus goes far beyond Steve Jobs to focus how to deal with leadership in general. It analyzes ten of the major leadership challenges faced by most entrepreneurs nowadays and offers about thirty-five leadership tips to help you understand how successful people think and lead, see through their own leadership skills and styles while working on your own leadership development goals. At the end of each session, questions are provided to help YOU think further and improve YOUR own methods by applying the discussions to YOUR own management style. Great initiative of Life Hacks books!

I was approached to provide feedback on the draft book as a coaching expert and was very interested as a reader to contribute to this NEW way of approaching business inspirational topics. The book is interactive and helps the readers to think about themselves as in books in which you are the hero. This book will help you rethink your leadership methods. Entrepreneurship 2.0 is a reality!

I enjoyed this short book (around 100 pages). It could have benefited from an editor (or a better editor) as there were quite a few errors which could have been easily corrected with a good editor. It has some good advice based on Steve Jobs' life and career. But there seemed to be too many sentences reminding us the advice was being drawn from Steve Jobs and I don't think we needed to be reminded of that throughout the book. The book is a quick read and would be good for anyone to read whether you are an entrepreneur or just an employee who one day strives to be a supervisor.

Quick Read; Interesting

Not a bad read. Textually, rough around the edges. Could benefit from a good editor or the Hemingway writing app. Some sentences need read twice because they are crafted so poorly. However, the content and flow between chapters was decent enough to give it 4 stars. Just needs some polish to make it a home run.

Muy buen libro

Conciso, directo al grano sobre las lecciones y como uno debe entenderlas. El resumen final es una gran ayuda para repasar lo leído.

short and practical. the book reads in about an hour which is easy to read and finish, but what I liked most was the practicality: this is not a biography, this is a summary of leadership tips that everyone can use. Plus, the author asks questions throughout so the reader can think about his own leadership methods and improve. totally recommend for those interested in Steve Jobs and those who want to try and improve themselves.
