Tied to the Barbarian Warrior

Rate this book
I’m tied to a demanding and bossy alien. And there’s nowhere to go…

Kara is the assistant coordinator to the Argarian Ambassador. When she covers for the Ambassador’s daughter Nariya by taking her place in a meeting, she has no idea what the consequences will be.

Before she knows it she is tied to a barbarian warrior. He’s arrogant, demanding and bossy.

And handsome, strong and hot.

Commander Arazor is the head of the Elite Galactic Force on the planet Agrion. His alliance with the Argarians will be symbolized by his marriage to their Ambassador’s daughter. It’s a political deal, nothing more.

He didn’t count on being betrayed. On being tied to a human.

But there are more important things at stake. Nariya has been kidnapped and Kara needs to bring her back.

Arazor has no choice. He has to accompany Kara. He’s bound to protect her. Even if that means traveling across the universe into dangerous territory.

Even if it means letting her change his cold heart…

Even if it means dying for her…

This is a standalone book in a series of scifi romance stories. The books each have a guaranteed HEA, so no cliff-hangers. This is a HOT story with mature themes and language. For 18+ readers only.

The story is very short and somewhat disjointed, the h is very weak and lacking consistency. Not really a romance, the H very cold at the start and suddenly in the end is in love without progression of feelings.
I could 'nt get into this book.

ARC - I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I really liked this book, although he is very small.
I liked how is not immediately that they start to change how they fell or the way they are.
The characters are very intriguing, and I always like books that involves MATES.

I hope we se more of this couple.

Having survived an abusive relationship on Earth, Kara Frost eagerly accepted a new job on Andromeda 13. This was a new beginning in her life. A few months later, Kara was the Assistant Coordinator to the Argarian Ambassador at Andromeda 13. She was to escort the Ambassador’s daughter, Nariya, to an intergalactic meeting with the Vllar warrior Commander of the Elite Galactic Force of the Agrion Kingdom. Instead, she was pleading with Nariya to not rush off to secretly marry a Klai barbarian with a sketchy reputation! This could be a big mistake! And missing the meeting could jeopardize a vital alliance between the Argarians and Agrion.

Nariya reached for her best robes and told Kara to take her place! She could promise them whatever they wanted to make the deal. And she assured her that her father would not fire her. Kara felt panic but Nariya would not listen to reason. So she agreed.

A warrior trained to suppress all emotion, Commander Arazor coldly thought over the terms of this alliance. The Ambassador had insisted that the Commander, as part of the agreement, had to marry his daughter Nariya! Agrion warriors could only marry once and solely for the procreation of offspring. This is not what Arazor wanted, but it was necessary to join forces with the Argarians. He just wanted this meeting to be over!

Kara met Arazor. He gave her a bracelet, as was their custom, and it adjusted to fit her wrist. He pulled her against his body and kissed her! Kara was shocked and pulled away, telling him how inappropriate his actions were. But Arazor told her he had sealed the deal and claimed her as his mate for life! The bracelet had marked her with runes that matched his, and she would not be able to remove it! He was furious and considered the Ambassador’s actions a disgrace and dishonor in sending a human substitute! Now what would she do? And what would Ambassador Erzhun Dyadjin do to her when he found out Nariya was gone and Kara had switched places with her! Even worse, what would this cold, infuriating male do next?

From the start, the author takes us right into chaotic turmoil. The story line is terrific and moves along at a fast pace. The characters are excellently developed, making them very real and identifiable to the reader. In a very short time, so many things have gone wrong that affect so many other things! Even Nariya did not escape the danger since Agrion sought the alliance to strengthen their forces against potential invasion by the Klai -- and Nariya was now right in the middle of that with her new fiancé! You won’t want to miss this adventure! This book is a must-read just to see how all of this plays out! Enjoy!

Kara left her abusive ex-husband behind on earth to start over on Space Station Andromeda 13. All she wants to do is do her job and be left alone. She never imagined she would end up tied to a barbarian warrior. He is everything she doesn't like: bossy, demanding, arrogant, too much like her ex-husband.
Arazor is the head of the Elite Galactic Force on the planet Agrion. He was sent to meet with the Argarian Ambassador's daughter, to forge an alliance between their planets. The arranged marriage would assure their alliance. He wasn't expecting to end up tied to a human.

When the ambassador's daughter is kidnapped, Kara is sent to get her back. Arazor is bound to Kara, responsible for her, and goes along to protect her. Forced to spend together, they realize they both might have misjudged the other.

This was a great story. I found it quite interesting right from the first page, and read it straight thru until the end. The characters were well described, and so easy to picture in your mind. The story has a little pain, a lot of attraction, humor, conflict, and a lot of heat!

I would definitely recommend this book, and honestly any other from Abella Ward, to anybody that likes to read about Alien Romance, or just romance in general.

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review. This is my honest opinion.

Kara used to be married to a man who abused her. She was terrified he would kill her before she could get away. She gets a job as the Assistant Coordinator to the Argarian Ambassador at Andromeda 13 to get her safely away from Earth and her ex. Now the ambassador has given her on job to do. She is supposed to escort his daughter to a meeting with the Commander of the Vllar, Arazor. The daughter doesn't want to go has has plans to elope with another alien. She begs Kara to pretend to be her for the meeting.
Arazor is there to marry the ambassador's daughter in return for military help for his people. He thinks Kara is the the ambassador's daughter and puts a mating bracelet on her. They are not officially mated, at least for a few months. Kara is not happy Arazor is bossy and demanding just like her ex used to be. He also seems to hate humans. They go back to tell the ambassador what happened when they found out that the alien the ambassador's daughter had eloped with is holding her for ransom. The ambassador demands that Kara go rescue his daughter. Arazor and Kara are now on a joint rescue mission.
This is a good short read. Kara and Arazor started off prejudiced against each other but slowly grow to have feelings for each other. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Such a Yummy Barbarian

Kara is a victim of spousal abuse. Since Earth is in the future there is no help for abuse any longer. All you can do is divorce. So she takes off to Andomeda 13. A space station that deals with all different kinds of aliens. Thru several problems she ends up meeting Arazor. He is a breed of warrior that doesn't show emotion as they consider that a weakness. So during a meeting with Kara as she's pretending to be someone else Arazor gets mated to her. So this starts off a chain reaction of kidnapping, torture and action. With a little sex at the happy ending.

Kara was abused by her ex and now she is bound to Arazor. He was supposed to marry Nariya, the daughter of the Ambassador, but Kara said she would go to the meeting for her not knowing what the meeting was about.

Kara and Arazor spend time together and events happen that bring them closer together and they wind up caring for each other.

This is a short read and a good way to make a few hours go by quicker. With it being so short, you don't get to know the characters except she was abused and he is a Vllar Commander. There's not a lot of communication between them either. They meet, go together to rescue Nariya and then in the next chapter its weeks later when they land on the planet where they tracked her. Nothing happens between them except for the initial kiss after he gave her the bracelet that bound them together. Then in the last chapter they seal the deal.

Kara and Arazor a love story, I enjoyed this book very much. Kara was sacrificing herself to help repopulate the earth after infertility strikes. The aliens are also experiencing the same kind of infertility problems are their planet with no women. The beginning is where the aliens who are not use to women or earthlings learn about them and how to treat them. Kara and Arazor quickly form a unbreakable bond. Once on his home planet trouble strikes and Kara is taken by grotesque aliens. Arazor transformed into his dragon shape saves Kara and destroys the alien. She's the first of the earth women to give birth. I liked the whole book and will be reading more of Ms. Ward's books. I received this arc book for my honest review.

You know things are bad when after Kara's divorce she didn't just leave her abusive husband, but left the entire planet. Starting a new life, her new bff is the Ambassador's daughter, Naryia. Naryia is enroute to another planet for a diplomatic meeting and Kara is responsible for her getting there. Kara has to stand in for Naryia when she runs away. Oh boy, do things go wrong. Now, I like bad-ass warrior types, just like Arazor. I also was very happy about the Agrion bonding ritual between mates. I'm a sucker for the gooey center of a warrior that only their mate can find. She is definitely NOT a warrior woman or even a fighter, but she is brave. I did love the ending. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I loved this book I started to read Abella's books from a recommendation and she has yet to let me down since I started reading them.
This time we meet Kara a human girl who leaves her abusive husband. She takes a placement that gets her a long way from earth.
Kara finds herself trying to stop her new best friend from eloping but is unsuccessful the last thing her friend asks of Kara is to deal with a meeting. Kara attends this meeting and finds herself in a situation she certainly wasn't expecting, as a consequence she now has to rescue her friend.
That's all I'm telling you it's a short story and can be read quickly.
I received this book as an arc read and because I love Abella's work it's only natural I'd leave a review.

Would I recommend this book YES

This is a really good read the character kara has left earth when she divorced her abusive husband and found work on a gigantic space station in the far off galaxy of cosmos Redshift 7 there she has to look after the ambassadors daughter who is also her friend Nariya, Nariya wants to run off and get married to Rezurn but kara doesn't trust him but her friend won't listen, kara has to pretend to be Nariya when she goes to a meeting to see vllar commander... It's got everything you want in a good book mystery, love and happy ending. I hadn't read a book by this author before and I wasn't disappointed if you like sexy alien alpha men then this is for you. I had this free from the author for a honest review I would definitely read her other books.

I enjoyed this read
Kara has taken a job off of planet earth for the Agrarian's - she is taking the first step to restart her life after her not so stellar marriage imploded-
It all started as an innocent way to assist her friend, yet keep her job -
What is that saying? - oh yeah
The road to hell is paved with good intentions and boy is Kara in for a journey!
Arazor is a sexy, hot as hell barbarian - straight forward no emotions, following orders warrior who is accepting the proposal to marry the ambassador's daughter to strengthen the military force for his planet - this is not a problem until he finds he has been betrayed.
This is a short but not quick read - it has humor, suspense, and romance

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Kara cannot catch a break.
She was finally divorced, and she found a new job.
Now, she is married to a total stranger.
What is Kara to do?
How was she to know that she would end up married just for attending a business meeting?
Now they have to find the Ambassador's daughter.
On this new adventure, Kara start to get to know her new husband, Arazor.
Their marriage started as business deal, but it does not mean that it cannot turn into a love deal.
You will need to read the book to find out which "deal: they decided to follow.

Another cool paranormal story from Ward that I had to finish once I started read. I just had to see how it would end. Its the story of Kara and Arazor and their "adventure" together to save Nariya from her bad choice in a mate. My honest review is - A fun quick read that is a little steamy with a cool plot. Karaand Arazar start out on the wrong foot but forced travel makes them see the good in each other. Add in a little conflict and makes a great lunch read. Well written with good character development for a novella.

This was an action packed tale from beginning to end! Who knew a Barbarian Warrior could be a dream come true? Kara and Arazor are entertaining characters from the get-go and I couldn't put the book down. Sometimes, two people or I guess I should say a human and an alien warrior, even from different worlds can heal one another. Don't miss out on a wonderful story! Received in return for an honest review naughtiness 3*

As always utterly loved it, Abella is the reason I got hooked on to Sci fi romance and alien shifters and I absolutely adore every one I've read so far.

As always will not give spoilers but I will say any who love Sci fi or scifi romance as well as someone turning their life around after going through trauma will love it, it's not easy to get over a trauma but it can be done and you are always stronger when you do.

Thank you Abella for writing it and thank you Diane at Heartbeat reads for inviting me to read it

A Short story, with typical short story problems. The main characters are not well developed, the relationship shows no progression to explain their change in heart for each other. There wasn’t even enough of the characters interaction to form an opinion of whether I even liked them as characters or not. The world building is actually decent for a short story. The story flowed fairly smoothly, & held my attention. This took me about 1 & 1/2 hours to read.

Kara makes for an interesting leading lady

The more Arazor gets to know Kara, the more he finds to like. The human has a spine, and is willing to stand up to him with a brave front that conceals a heart "once burned, twice shy."

Arazor takes a while to warm up to, but the more we get to know hi , or perhaps it is better to say the more we see how he responds to Kara, the more endearing a character he becomes.

This is an interesting book, a future world where humans can travel and work in other universes. The characters are well written and fit this tale perfectly. The pace is perfect to build the suspense that carries through the book. I voluntarily review an ARC of the book, but I enjoyed very much. I've read other book by this author and they're always entertaining.
