Theatre: Brief Version

Rate this book
This brief version of Cohen’s best-selling text uses equal measures of appreciation of theatrical arts and descriptions of the collaborative theatrical crafts to introduce students to the performance of drama. The author’s enthusiasm for and knowledge of the current theatre, highlighted by contemporary production shots from around the world, put the students in the front row.

I read the 13th edition for class. Definitely got repetitive, but the parts about diversity in the theatre were easily the best.

Of all the textbooks I've had to read so far...this was probably the most enjoyable... sure it had it's boring moments and it repeated a lot of things form chapter to chapter, but it wasn't horrible to read.
