An outstanding and fun read indeed, although I did find a few errors throughout the book, so you may want to have a proofreader do another run of it.

Here's the error that stood out the most to me:

On page 164 you have "Rush" instead of Ruth.

I hope this helped, and if you'd like some vengeance, please feel free to read my book "The Marine Memoirs" and proofread all you'd like... the digital version is free!

The 11# book in the series. Maggie has another mystery with danger involved when Nate and Opal giver her an antique clock they find dogged up in front of their daughter’s new Eclair’s Bakery Shop! The mystery clock definitely brings danger into everyone surrounding Maggie from the Carriage House Antique Shop to the clockmaker they bring the clock to to get it repaired. But the mystery is solved in th e end is solved and the culprit causing all the havoc apprehended.

This was an easy read but not as interesting as others I have read. The historical theme was interesting but I found the heroine a little flat. I also found that other stories drew me away from this book thereby drawing out the time it took me to finish.

A Chime to Kill is a cozy mystery by Elizabeth Goddard. It is different from her romantic suspense that I am used to and prefer but it is a pleasant quick read. A Chime to Kill involves a mystery clock which is dug up while planting landscaping!

A very interesting mystery! Full of intrigue, spying, misunderstanding and guilt. Imagine trying to landscape a property you just leased. Then you dug a hole to plant a tree and found something buried. This is the start of a great puzzler.
