Jennifer Lucia grew up on Long Island, New York in a family of six. Ever since she learned how to read, she’s read anything she could get her hands on. She started reading romance novels when she came across a bodice ripper at a thrift store and found that she couldn’t get enough. Fifteen years later, she’s still an avid romance reader- and now is adding her own voice to the mix.
Jennifer loves traveling and is a little obsessed with theme parks. She has a goal of going to every theme and amusement park in the United States eventually. Before she picked up a pen, she worked a myriad of odd jobs, including retail, lifeguarding, tutoring, waitressing, and bartending.
Jennifer Lucia lives in Northern Virginia with her boyfriend and their dog Luke. She enjoys coffee, chocolate, drinking wine in the bathtub, and watching terrible horror movies. You can connect with her on her website, https://jenniferlucia.com, or on Facebook or Instagram.

Ok.... I really liked the story line, but the main characters were a little....let’s just say weak!!! Especially Jamie. She was a little winey for me and some of the writing about what she was thinking was a little off and weak to be frank! Not one of my favorite books.

What a fabulous romance! It was a perfect mixture of a fun plot, characters that you will love, and a healthy dose of suspense. Jamie, the main protagonist, was both awkward in the cutest way and strong and resilient when she had to be. Logan was also amazing, and I’m sure that many readers will claim him as their “book boyfriend” after reading this story. I also loved the concept of how the two main characters met and how their relationship progressed as both worked together. The inner workings of a beach bar and the spot-on portraying of the patrons (you will recognize certain types right away, I promise!) helped me dive deep into the story and picture everything vividly in my mind. What I also appreciated was the issue of an abusive ex-boyfriend and toxic relationship in general; not only it created a certain feeling of danger lingering somewhere near but also spoke of an important issue that needs to be spoken about. Overall it was a super-fun, very well-written story that I would definitely recommend to all fans of the contemporary romance genre. Five stars!

Logan buys the bar where Jamie has worked since finishing college (supposedly full time but she has a lot of days off) while she writes a novel. Which she hasn’t started; but then she does and writes like a third of it in two hours. Her co-worker is a teacher who bartends at night for fun? 2 stars

Good

This is a good read. Nothing exciting. It's about a group of young adults hanging out and working. Just another standard wealthy boss and employee romance.
