love it specially sa pag continue ng story from a person to another.
story one: kinilig aq sa combination ng artistic and brilliant mind nila.
story two: ang akward ni glenn but he tries and nikki’s really funny
story three: i love the part when she rant about everything then realize what she did and the freaking advice is soooooooo goooood, gagamitin ko yun siguro ewan.

I bought this book late last year but have put off reading it until last weekend bec I was afraid I’d find it difficult to read a Tag-lish work. I shouldn’t have waited that long bec once I started, I didn’t put it down! 😊

It is made up of three stories: Puzzle Wednesdays - in which a library assistant discovers a budding graphic novelist’s work and helps her get over an artistic block; Wanted: Great Listener (my fave) - where a tiny prank leads to a one-sided friendship (which then leads to romance, once a heavy issue is settled. *Hashtag-Grovel*); and Find Your Bae - where a complaining dating-site user develops feelings towards a friendly tech-support/site-creator on the other end of the chatline.

The transition between languages wasn’t as jarring as I feared. I actually enjoyed the contemporary way the dialogue was written and presented.
It is worth noting that this is a unique type of epistolary anthology as the stories are presented as chat messages reminiscent of the widely popular ~chat-serye in the PH a few years back. I didn’t get that hype at the time so I can’t comment on that, but I assure you, Hey, Stranger delivers that authentic Kilig we’re all looking for!❤️

read this last year pa but I decided to re-read it !!
Story One: Puzzle Wednesdays
- lol this story was so cute!! love the plot so much even though it ended on a cliffhanger. tbh, all the 3 stories here ended on a cliffhanger. wish it was longer:( nevertheless, it was still fun and VERY easy to read. read the whole book in like 50mins. well, given that it was epistolary. 🤍 anyway, cute ng mga Billie chibi drawings ni Lou hahaha.
Story Two: Wanted: Great Listener
- honestly, this was the one who gave the biggest cliffhanger out of them 3 hahaha. I WISH THE WHOLE BOOK WAS LONGER AAAAA /crying. kidding. anywho, the plot was very typical, drunk text chuchu but it was still great!! shirlengtearjerky still makes it enjoyable to read. 🧚🏼♀️ cute ni Glenn hahaha with all the buying the mint choco cookies tactics just to see Nikka lol.

I thought I wouldn't appreciate at first but as I immersed my self to reading it. I'm hooked with the character's perpective and the story.
