Gooseberry Patch's Come on Over Cookbook (Everyday Cookbook Collection) contains more recipes that I believe are useful than several of their other cookbooks, and I swear by Gooseberry Patch. What I particularly like about this cookbook is that the recipes seem to be simple and the ideas for entertaining friends, neighbors, and family are nothing short of ingenious. And as one of the tips reads for a cooking rule as attributed to an unknown party, "If at first you don't succeed, order pizza."

I have a recipe in this book so I have to give it a good review :) I love Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, both my mom and I collect them. The ones I don't have, she has, so I've read them all!
