A Temporary Peace: A Persuasion Variation (Fate and Fortune Book 2)

In Book 2 of the Fate and Fortune Series, Captain Wentworth returns to Kellylynch Hall to visit his sister and the Admiral. Anne travels to Uppercross to be with her sister Mary Musgrove, children, and her husband, Charles. Close together, they are able to visit as Anne and Sophy plan the wedding. Charles mentions that there’s a estate nearby for lease called Hanford. As Anne, Mary, and the two Musgrove daughters make way to visit Kellylynch, up rides William Elliot once again seemingly out of nowhere he was expected to be. Also arriving unexpectedly is Lady Russell. William Elliot’s arrival is to announce that he plans to ask Elizabeth Elliot to marry him, and if he is accepted, Sir Elliot, Elizabeth and himself will return to Kellylynch to take up residency necessitating the removal of the Crofts before the lease was up. The newly married Wentworths offer their home, Hanford, as a place where the Crofts can reside. Christmas was spent with the three Wentworth siblings together with their families a first in many long years.

Another Great one

This is another great telling of Persuasion which I really enjoyed. My hope is that there will be a third to the series. I still don t trust Mr. Elliot.
