Overall rating 3.5 stars for this enjoyable collection of forbidden taboo tales which definitely warm up the room. This is meant to be over-the-top, extra sweet, sizzling hot and lots of fun - be warned!

Stepbrother's Stowaway by Amber Bardan and Eden Summers - 3 stars
Two step-siblings want each other but they think it is a taboo and they should never reveal their feelings.
The girl will be the one who will push things. I loved her determination. The guy seemed very Alpha and tough but he had to have her father's blessings before they actually have sex.

The Virgin's Guardian by Fiona Davenport
5+++ Stars
I so love this one! The story is short but beautifully written and I want more especially the epilogue.
The story is about Harrison and Felicity.
She's a foster kid since her parents died in a car crash. Her foster sister talked her into going out. They went to a bar and there she met Harrison.
He noticed her and can't stop staring at her from the moment she walked in the door. They left together and had a great night at his place but he fell asleep and when he woke up, she's gone.
He didn't stop until he found her. Didn't even expect how young she was. Her life's not easy and he found her at the time she needed him the most.
I love how he takes care of her and protects her. He's a very sweet man. He's not that OTT alpha male but he's perfect just the way he is!
It has a nice epilogue.

I've only read one of the stories (so far) and it was really good. The title aptly describes the story of Harrison and Felicity.
Harrison is a 37 year old who meets the much younger Felicity (17 - age of consent is 16 in their state) when she sneaks out of her foster home at the insistence of the foster sister. While he knows she is younger than 21, he has no clue she only 17. He knows she is meant to be his and sets out to find her after she leaves in the middle of their night together. This was a steamy hot, safe read with no cheating or ow/om drama. No pushing away. An ok epilogue.

Heroine sneaks out of her foster home with her foster sister and goes to a bar, using a fake I.D.
Ends up going home with the hero and having a one night stand with him before she sneaks back home. Gets caught by her foster parents and gets sent to a group home because she hasn't aged out of the system yet. She was 17. A few months away from 18. So she's still in high school for most of the book.
We find out not long after that that the hero is 37. He uses his money to track her down and speeds up the process of being her guardian. A single guy. With no issues, becomes her guardian. He goes to pick her up from school and tells her he's now her guardian. Takes her home. Has sex with her. Then tells her they can't have sex again until she's 18 because he doesn't want her social worker taking her away from him.
Yes, he thought she was older when they had their one night stand but once he knew she was 17? He had no business putting his hands on her. This is one awesome romance anthology with lots of yummy authors to read. The book that I am reviewing is by a top notch author , and the authors in this set are just as awesome as JL Beck so these are all must reads too. My review is on this book I read::

So far in this antholoy I've read:
4 stars Stepbrother's Stowaway.
Naturally when I saw Amber Bardan had a new novella release with ( new to me author ) Eden Summers I was all over it like me on Haithem. And had to read this one first. I'm so glad I didn't wait. What a gorgeous bundle of forbidden loveliness this was between a stepbrother and his younger stepsister. Short, cute and very smutty.
All powerful rich and spoiling stepbrother says things like:
He made no move to fix himself. This was his plane. His bed. His goddamn pants and his motherfucking hard-on.
and ....
“Look at the dirty thing you made me do…”
And there's talk of spurts. SPURTS alert.
I'll update here when I read the others in the anthology. For now, I'll leave you with step siblings and spurts.

Stepbrother's Stowaway by Amber Bardan and Eden Summers

The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested.
This is Aria and Nate’s story. Nate is a billionaire but he wants something money can’t buy. He wants his stepsister. Aria knows her step brother is a great person. He tries to get her things and make it to all her important events but can he tell she has a crush on him? All it will take is one touch and these two are into forbidden land. Can they resist or is the pull just too much to resist?
I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book.

So I'm going to keep this short I'm only going to tell you about two of the stories in the set. First one being Stepbrothers Stowaway by Eden Summers & Amber Bardan and secondly Love Torn by Lena Bourne.
Stepbrothers Stowaway is about Nate and Aria.
Nate has decided to sell is company and move back to Greenpea. But it was a colossal mistake so he's on the run again but this time as an adult.
Aria I have the best stepbrother he gives me gifts and tries to make it to all my important events. But I have a crush on him.
The book is very simple but very effective in getting its story across let's just say that love knows no bounds and in the end we get a HEA. It's a 5 star story that's for sure.
Love Torn
Vin I'm finally given a decent job by my father and it's to guard and look after the new batch of girls. I get to pick this new batch and one of the girls just grabs my eye from the start.
Kat I've been bought and so have some of the other girls I was with, I thought I was being headhunted to become a model.
Lena has done it again this time it's a great short story that has us wondering if this pair can make it. Vin and Kat have to keep their relationship a secret but it's not going to be easy.
This story also ends with a HEA and is also a 5 star story.
These are just two of the stories that really caught my attention and kept it right through the whole book. None of the stories are anything less than a 4 star.
Would I recommend this book YES

Lena Bourne Love Torn
Vin is the local mob boss's illegitimate son. Once he has proven himself as a heavy, he is being given the opportunity to move up in the ranks. He is offered the job of overseeing the whores in a house from sale to transition into the field of prostitution. They have been taken from their families overseas and were promised modeling careers and the like. His father allows him to pick out the ones he will be taking with him. He immediately begins to fall for one of the girls. This attraction only intensifies under the lockdown procedure the house is put in so the girls won't flee. It is forbidden that he get involved with one of the girls, but he is doing it anyway. He is slacking on her duties in front of the camera to have her for himself. Of course this is noticed. What happens next will depend on whether he is floating with the fishes or allowed to continue his involvement with the girl. I found little attraction or interest in the story or characters. I read it and it was okay, but that is as far as it goes. I've read other stories by this author I prefer more.

I do enjoy a Taboo read !. This was Nate and Aria's story. It was a quick read, but very enjoyable. Full of "Will he, Won't He. Shall She Follow Her Heart or Shall She Give Up."
Basically the family don't approve....surprise, surprise. Nate and Aria have a connection and Nate does his up most to fight this. However one night Aria let's her need for Nate drive her to thrust (no pun intend) herself onto Nate. How does Nate react ?.......He hits the road !. Does this deter Aria ?.....Nope, she's HOT on his heels or should I say passport in hand and off to the tarmac she goes!!!.
Although as I said it was a fairly quick read for me, I found the story line gripping. I was cheering our H/h on every step of the way. There is as always with Eden's fabulous books a SCORCHING level of passion and tension. To top off a damn fine read, it finishes with a HEA. Winner all round !!!

I read Crossing the Line by Amy L. Gale and Liz Gavin. Ugh! I want more!! It ended way too soon! This was a short story about not only the taboo romance of a professor and student, but Jessie and Nick were also from feuding families. The two of them had instant chemistry and were hot together but multiple people tried to keep them apart. Nick was a stand up guy and I loved him for the sacrifice he made at the end. The story (as is) could be complete with the reader being allowed to develop the future how they want. However, the way it did end, makes the perfect setup for a follow up book. That's what I'm really hoping for!
As for the rest of the stories in this anthology, I haven't had a chance to read them yet. There are some authors who I have read before and enjoyed as well as some new to me authors. For those reasons, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the anthology.

Love Torn by Lena Bourne is one of the 16 stories in this collection and the one that I will be reviewing voluntarily as I received an ARC of the book. What a story about a mob man, Vin and one of the women, Kat, that are taken to become sex slaves for the enterprise. He is immediately drawn to her and he chooses her as one of the women to work at his "house". Even though the situation is not ideal of how they met they still are able to find love while also going against the rules his father and jealous brother have in place. Can they survive once their secret is out?
A fast paced read with steamy scenes and even though I was on the fence in beginning about how they met and what was expected of the girls, the author was able to turn it into a great story that left me smiling in the end. I'm sure the other stories will be just as great and worth the read if I only have this one to base my decision.

Forbidden: Anthology – Stepbrother’s Stowaway by Eden Summers
From page one you are enthralled with this story. Nathan has struggled with his feeling for Aria, his stepsister. The temptation is too much and he decides to leave town. What he finds on his jet is a stowaway who happens to be his stepsister. Aria is a good girl but has decided she needs to be a bad girl to get what she wants and what she wants is Nathan. There are some really steamy erotic scenes that will have you fanning yourself. While the lust is evident there is so much love between these two characters as well as so much guilt. Can they ever be or will this be too much of a taboo? The story is fast paced. The author captured her audience and brought enough suspense and excitement to keep you interested. If you are looking for hot and steamy with a splash of romance in one sitting, this one is for you.

Hot Steamy Taboo...
An anthology of great forbidden romance stories...what could be better...I reviewed Bad for You by J.L.Beck which is a hot steamy taboo office romance ..the first in a series that tells the story of Audrey and Jameson; she is the daughter of the boss and he is the best friend and partner of the boss not an ideal situation….but they have been secretly lusting each other for years..
I loved the storyline to this novella….told from the main characters perspectives it was great to hear both side of the story and gain direct insight into the main characters true feelings…
This is a really enjoyable sexy read which ends on a happy for now but there are still more stories to tell and I am looking forward to reading the next in the series…
With such great authors in this anthology I am confident the rest will make this a must read also..

Jameson is Audrey's dad's best friend. he is also a hot, older alpha that knows what he wants. There are scenes that will make your toes curl and heart beat a bit faster. This older male, younger female novella was a good read! Epilogue was incredible.

This was an INCREDIBLE short read that had me over the top, pining over Harrison yet equally elated with Felicity's character. Perfection at it's finest from Fiona Davenport! LOVED IT! Worth more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this contribution to this anthology!

Loved the forbidden romance between Liv and Owen. Owen is Liv's brother's best friend, and has been told to stay away from Liv, but through a case of mistaken identity, Liv and Owen begin a hot romance, but Liv is withholding some secrets that could destroy any type of relationship she has with Owen. This is a fun, sexy, short story! It was great for a quick read, and I enjoyed how the story played out. Allyson Lindt managed to give the story some heart despite this being a short story, and the sex scenes and chemistry between Liv and Owen was spot on. Very enjoyable read, and it's a sweet story.

Forbidden: a Contemporary Romance Anthology is a great collection of Romances and do not miss Love Torn.
This is an excellent anthology of steamy romances by excellent romance authors! While I am only reviewing Love Torn by Lena Bourne at this time, I have read several of the other authors whom I highly recommend. Kat is tricked into female slavery while trying to get a better life for herself. Vin is born into a mob family and trying to impress his father despite being his illegitimate son. These two allow love to rise above their circumstances for their HEA. I received a gifted copy of Love Torn but was so impressed with the selection that I purchased the whole anthology. I honestly love this collection of romances!

These two allow love to rise above their circumstances for their HEA. I received a gifted copy of Love Torn but was so impressed with the selection that I purchased the whole anthology. I honestly love this collection of romances!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of Lena Bourne's novella, Love Torn that is included in the Forbidden Anthology.
Ms. Bourne's novella is the ultimate in happily ever afters. Vin, the son of the Mob boss and Kat, the unfortunate young woman who is sold with several other unwilling girls into sex slavery have instant attraction. Their magnetic pull is undeniable and causes for some missteps between Vin and his half-brother, Tony. It is a dangerous business but, somehow Vin needs Kat to be his and not one of the slaves he oversees.
This is a well-written passion filled story with jealousy, deceit and danger all around. But, it is not only a HEA for Vin and Kat but, for all the girls in the house. I love the dream and hope that this is a possibility in the real world.

I've only had the chance to read LESSON PLAN by Author Kimberly Readnour & Michelle Lynn so far, but look forward to reading the rest. Here's my review for Lesson Plan:

Review of Bribing the Boss by Allyson Lindt
A very quick read with a sweet happily-ever-after. For such a short page count it packs a surprising amount of emotional angst and my reality-TV-loving heart adored every drama-laden moment of it. I spent a lot of this book wanting to shake some sense into both Liv and Owen. They’re so perfect for each other, it was physically painful to me watching them fumble their relationship. Even though this pair generates that much heat together, there’s something so tender and sweet about their feelings for one another. I would have happily kept reading for another several thousand words, I wasn’t ready for it to be over.

Vin is a the illegitimate of the mafia boss and is finally getting his chance to take his place within the organization. His job will be to run a brothel. When Vin goes with his father and step-brother Tony to pick out the girls - one girl catches Vin's eye.
While the premise of the story - girls being sold as sex slaves is deplorable, the story becomes a love story between Vin and Kat, one of the girls.
Vin's Step-brother Tony is not happy with Vin being in the family and once he finds out Vin has feelings for Kat he steals her and has Vin beaten and left for dead.
Can Vin and Kat run away from the "family" or will his father make an example of him?
If you can get past the sex slave portion this really is a love story.
I was given this book for an honest and voluntary review.

Eden Summers is always a yes for me. I love her words and I get giddy when she writes a new book because I just know it's gonna be amazing... so grabbing this anthology up and devouring this sexy little number was a no brainer and bonus! It introduced me to her co-author, Amber Bardan.
The Stepbrother's Stowaway was a super sexy novel...with dashes of forbidden and taboo that just made it spark and hit all my marks. Nate and Aria lit up my kindle and practically had it smoking at times...and I definitely wouldn't mind more of them.
If you like short, easy, safe, and over the top steamy then this novella is sooooooo for you!
I definitely recommend this book and anthology!

Stepbrothers Stowaway by Amber Bardan & Eden Summers
This story features billionaire Nathan Hendrick and his stepsister Aria Morgan. Nathan is a good guy. He's always spoiled Aria and never acted on his intense attraction to her. They didn't grow up together, so they didn't have that sibling relationship. I couldn't quite figure out Aria. Is she a seductress? Is she intensely naïve? It seemed like her personality kept flip-flopping throughout this steamy short story. One minute she was a 21-year-old seductress and the next she acted like she was a naïve 18-year-old. I just wish Aria's personality would have been more consistent towards her actual age of 21.
Sizzling hot short story! Looking forward to more from these very talented authors.

This is part of the Forbidden Series which is an anthology of 16 stories from some of the top romance authors. Bribing The Boss is one of the books in the series that I loved. It's all about one night with his best friends little sister who has now turned out to be his boss. Talk about hot, wow. A great story. In fact the entire collection is great. Lots of hot and sassy reads sure to steam up your kindle. A great collection. I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review.

What an exciting and sexy collection from an incredible set of authors. I haven’t had a chance to read all the stories yet but from what I’ve experienced, I know this is sultry collection of romances.
Stepbrother’s Stowaway: Well melt my panties. Nate is escaping his hometown after his step-sister sneaks into his bed naked. He is struggling to fight his attraction to her, something that his mother and step-father want him to avoid. When Aria shows up on his private jet, well all bets are off as she pushes the final button that he can’t resist. Their relationship is combustible and jumps off the page.

While I only reviewed Bribing The Boss by Allyson Lindt in this anthology, it all sounds so wonderful I need to read the rest of the stories! This story was fantastic! Liv and Owen meet at a club, but the funny thing is, she is his best friend's little sister and he didn't recognize her. The chemistry is off the charts! Liv didn't tell him the truth and when they meet up again at a job interview in the company Liv works for, she ends up hiring him. She knows she's only digger herself a deeper and deeper hole, but she can't help herself. Fun short story with steamy love scenes, a little drama, but a beautiful ending. You don't want to miss this. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
