The author's bio gives no indication she has been a Project Manager. That this book is merely 96 pages causes me to wonder how informative and helpful it can actually be. The Look Inside simply shows an overview of what Project Managers do, and why they're beneficial. Basic stuff anyone looking for tips on becoming one or improving their skills would already know.

The (current) reviewers of this book also don't appear to be Project Managers or aspiring Project Managers, a few clearly don't even know what Project Managers actually do. The reviews are unfortunately so devoid of any specifics I can't even tell if they've actually read the book, much less if I'd find it at all useful or helpful.

Color me highly skeptical.

Susan Hollister’s Project Management is a solid introduction for anyone looking to understand the basics of managing projects efficiently. It covers essential topics like planning, organization, team coordination, and problem-solving in a clear and straightforward way. The book doesn’t dive too deep into advanced strategies, but that makes it great for beginners or those needing a refresher.

The writing is easy to follow, and the practical tips are useful for real-world applications. While experienced project managers might find it a bit basic, it’s a great starting point for those new to the field.
