Rate this book
He broke her heart, and it broke his soul. The lead singer to an internationally known alternative band, Flint Jarvis is plagued with the demons of a life he can no longer face. Unable to cope with the sorrow of breaking Kasey’s heart, he falls into a pit of self-loathing and denial. Every night, with a different woman (or two), he chooses to silence those afflictions with heroin, cocaine, and booze. Determined to feel as little pain from his regrets as possible, he nearly destroys himself and everyone around him. When his past comes barreling back in the most unexpected way, he must decide if he wants to give into the abyss of his addictions, or straighten up and fight for the love he never thought he was worthy of. Sometimes people are given second chances with someone they once lost, even if it isn’t how they expected it.

Surprised

I totally read this book on a whim. Didn't know much about it. I was blown away. There was so much detail to this story. If you don't give this book a chance you are really missing out on a great story.

This book was more than I expected it to be especially since dude is literally in a downward spiral high on life doing what most guys do best. But a long the way the unexpected happens... second chances happen even for those who feel they are less than deserving of it. I love that this book gives a purpose to those who may not feel there is one... I always find a hidden little moral in there. Love love love it!

Eastward Reborn

This was an awesome novel by this author. The characters were extremely complex and very well written. The story tackled a very hard subject and balanced it with a very healthy dose of love. The storyline was engaging and held my interest from page one. I, being the HEA brat that I am, would have loved an epilogue, but that is me and in no way detracted from my total enjoyment with this book. Well done!!

Loved this book

This book was not what I expected. Initially I questioned why I was even reading this book, I'm glad that I didn't give up on it. As the story progresses you learn more about why Flint is the way he is. This book evokes so many emotions but in the end I really loved this story. Will definitely read other books written by Kellee Strickland

I will point out that i dont read like any erotica but as someone new to the genre i am so glad i read this!

The story kept me wanting more and i really felt connected to the characters. I had moments of fan girling of "yaaaayeee" when someone good happened and felt honestly sad when the bad stuff happens

i dont want to spoil anything so you will know EXACTLY what i mean when u read it.

HIGHLY recommend this book! :)

Wow!!

Ok at first I really disliked Flint and "B*stard" was quite fitting. I spent most of the book not liking him at all. Then finally some redeeming qualities come to light and man he was shining bright. Patty and him together was awesome. The band members sticking with him was great and they made up an amazing family and support system. Some hot AF sex scenes, and bad boy rocker I mean dayum what more could you ask for.
Highly recommend!!

It's not often that a book will not give me a clue to how it's going to turn out, this one kept me guessing to almost the very end. No it's not a mystery, even though secrets are revealed, but a very well written book about Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll. Flint Jarvis is as bad as they come although you have to sympathize with him - after a while. What struck me in this story was the way the addiction(s) were portrayed, if you know anyone that suffered through addiction, it is because of self-loathing and in this case not at all a glamorous by-product of being a rock star. How this affects everyone around you and what the consequences might be was a lesson learned that could have been too late. I found this book to be a little different, gritty and thought provoking. A book worth reading IMO.

Rough

Although the premise of the story was a good one, I didn’t enjoy this at all. Rocker star bad boy is in deep with drugs, alcohol and whores. All the while he bangs his manager too, who by the way is in love with him and he ends up marrying her. The turning point in the book was a bit odd and it just wasn’t the right fit. Just glad I borrowed it from KU and didn’t purchase
