Great ending

Full of magic and the journey to right time. It's exciting, sometimes sad but always moving forward to defeat Videus, save humanity and fulfill the prophecy. Runa is so surprised when she discovers who Videus is. With many obstacles in her way, and the loss of loved ones things are not going as planned. Will Runa be able to fulfill her destiny, live with all that's happened? Only one way to find out, it starts with book 1. This was a really good trilogy, it has real characters that are believable and have great relationships with each other. It's easy to read and understand. It's full of commitment, love and hope for a better time. Written wonderfully, with out mistakes that interrupt your reading. I'd say this is for all ages, I don't remember any swearing, or sex, it sort of hints of it then you know they did it cuz they end up on the bed and that's once. Worth reading.

And so we have reached the end of the Pendomus Chronicles. And it was everything I could have hoped for! It all comes full circle, wrapping up all those loose tendrils. And thank god for that! Because I was starting to get a little lost with all the back and forth, zigging and zagging. It's an extremely complex plot, but Andrews managed to catch it all up in the end. It was non-stop action, with an overwhelming sense of hope. I never doubted for a moment that the series would end with a happily-ever-after. Runa had worked too hard to lose it all at the last moment. That would have been a major disappointment.

There weren't a whole lot of reminders about what happened in previous books, so I would recommend reading them all back to back. I was glad for having just recently finished the second book. It made the transition into the finale a lot easier than it could have been. I had previously said that the series read like a mature middle-grade novel, but the story has certainly gotten more mature throughout the series. While the language remains clean, there is a fade-to-black physical scene. Oh, and the body count!! Nobody is safe in this one, with an all-out war front and center. It doesn't read as gory, but certainly, death plays an important part to the overall momentum.

Regardless of the fact that I didn't have a clue who I could trust, I loved all the characters. There are HUGE additions to the cast, but at the same time, the initial favorites don't play a huge role this time around. I missed them! It'll be hard to say goodbye to them. I'm excited to see what Andrews comes out with next!

Wow, honestly I’m not yet prepared for this series to be over. I just finished it two seconds ago and I’m just not ready to say goodbye to these characters! Especially not with how it ended, I need to know what happens next! No cliffhanger, a satisfying ending to this adventure filled series that you’ll just have to read to understand what I’m talking about! I’m just sad to say goodbye, it’s definitely one series I will be rereading AND buying the paperback versions of so they can sit pretty on my bookshelf!

Though I am in awe by this story, that throughout the series I never saw where it was leading to in all the books, making this journey that much more enjoyable and easier to just sit back, letting the story take you away from reality. It was sad in the beginning I felt like Trae’s voice kind of changed from the previous books and I’m not talking about the other being in his mind. He just seemed a bit immature, I don’t know how to explain it without spoiling anything. But other than that, I loved it!

I loved that I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time, from beginning to end, wondering where all of this was leading to and who was behind the grotesque mask of Videus! Ugh, why does this series have to end! I’m so excited to see what Carissa comes up next in the future for us!

I really enjoyed this series, this is the final in the three, I liked the first two better, but I did really enjoy seeing how it all turned out. You will fall in love with the characters and their progress in the books. The world was fascinating and the story was complex and interesting. It was an incredible end to an incredible series.

A Fantastic Read

This book is the final book in a series of three. They all revolve around Runa, Trae, Fenton, and Kani. The Daughter of Five is the person chosen because of her bloodlines to reset the Earths time back to the time it should be. Runa is that person and this book ties up all the loose ends of the prior books. You are taken with her as she sets out to fulfill the requirements of the Caudex. I absolutely loved this whole set of books. They make you think. If you're looking for an easy read, be aware that this book in particular needs some concentration. I gave this book 5 stars because of the excellent writing, story content, and the flow of one book to another. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in this genre.

I was given this ARC book to read and to give an unbiased review.

Ok, I have to give this book 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I can't give it more 😥. This was a fantastic ending to an superb book. 👏👏Carissa Andrews knows how to write. This science fiction series gave you everything. Mystery, suspense, action,( not gory action) magic (creatures and such) and far out technology. It ran you through the gambit of emotions, commitment, hope, love, sadness, and happiness (amoung a few). This fast pace, well written spectacular complex series presented adventure, and excitement. It dealt with defeating the enemy, saving humanity, and fullfilling ones destiny while dodging obstacles and loss of lives in the process. Wow! this book had it all. I would definitely recommend 👍👍👍 this book. Read it slow and careful. You don't want to miss any thing. Enjoy.
I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary honest review.

Whoa! Man, I would have to say that Revolutions was just as superbly written as its predecessors with all the action and world building. It just ramped up and up building up to the ultimate climax at the end.

I have said it before and I will say it again The Pendomus Chronicles is one of the best trilogies of all time. The characters are all just as amazing as the world building. I truly hate to see it come to an end.

In Revolution Runa is still trying to fulfill her destiny as the Daughter of Five. She is still trying to stop Videus from taking over the world. She has a plan in the works. The question is can she pull it off. Can she stop Videus? Who is the true Videus? Whose face is behind the mask?

Runa still has a few trials that she must face before she can save the world from Videus. If she can’t complete her trials can she still defeat Videus and save all the people he has taken control of?

Poor Traeton has a little extra baggage that he is carrying around himself that can take over his mind and body. If he doesn’t figure how what is going or how to stop it; it could become a distraction in Runa’s plan or block it all together. Can Traeton pull himself together long enough to help Runa stop Videus? Or will he be her and the world’s downfall?

What an amazing journey! I would recommend Revolutions and the whole Pendomus Chronicles to all fans of dystopian, science fiction, magic, and action.

Sometimes, a series (or, as in this case, a trilogy) leaves me thinking that there's been a lot of filler and there could have been fewer books. I don't feel that way about the Pendomus Chronicles; instead, I think each succeeding book has built on the preceding as it should until the third and final episode is clearly where the author was heading all along.

Revolutions is full of adventure and excitement, just the way a book with such a title should be. We've had a really good journey through the first two books, getting to know the characters and the very uncomfortable world they live in, and now we learn who Runa was meant to be all along and how important she and her band of young companions are to each other and to the future of their world.

In the meantime, Trae has to deal with his personal demons and that in itself is a distraction for Runa. In a shattering yet very satisfying ending filled with the past, the present and the future, it finally all comes together in a breakneck race through the timeline, leading us to, well, I won't give anything away but, suffice it to say, I'm a happy reader ;-)

Unexpected Great Conclusion!

As I began the third book of the trilogy, I wanted a satisfying and happy ending. The story was definitely not moving toward a conclusion that I would find acceptable. Fortunately, there are enough twists and turns to lead to a great conclusion accompanied by an interesting beginning. I won’t say anything else so I don’t give away the conclusion.

We are again following Runa, her love interest Trae, and their friends as they set out to fix the problems caused by Vedius. The path isn’t easy and many sacrifices are made. Runa struggles to complete the final trial so she can fulfill the prophecy.

The author keeps our interest as she shifts back and forth through the first person accounts of Runa and Trae.

I had a very difficult time putting the book down to rest my eyes and get some sleep. You will be engrossed from the start to the end.

There are a few small editing errors that are a distraction. Fortunately, the story telling is good enough to carry you past them.

Not the best work by Andrews, but then again, it's one of her older works and I only came across it on the backlist after reading and finishing Windhaven Witches - the latter of which is one of my favorite series to date, perhaps next to Tracy Lawson's Resistance Series and E.E. Holmes' World of the Gateway.

As for Revolutions, I loved the character arc that stemmed from Books I and II of the Pendomus Chronicles, which explains my four-star rating. It was an action-packed work that left me wanting more as I worked my way through the final chapters. I was up more than half the night finishing it!

The only things I found disappointing her was that the work was very predictable. Especially when we discover the identity of Videus. Saw it coming since the 50 percent mark of Book II. I also felt that it had the same exact ending as Windhaven Witches, just with a different cast of characters and within a different world.

But whatever. It was still an adrenaline-pumping ride through and through and I'm glad I stuck with the trilogy until the end.

I liked this one much better than the previous ones. Not that I didn’t like the world build or the characters before, I just felt a bit disconnected to the story as it was so fast paced that I couldn’t really empathise with the them, and also a lot of things weren’t making much sense yet. On this one the arc of the characters and of the actual story starts developing and a lot of things start revealing themselves, and there’s a full grasp of the reality and of the world the story takes place and really shows the creativity of the author, and also a kind of beautiful silver lining. I truly enjoyed it. And I found that it was definitely not a waste of time to have invested in this series.
If your a sci-fi and YA fan I’d definitely suggest this one.
This book is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (one star up from the previous two)

What a wonderful tale!

I just finished the third of a trio in the Pendomas series, and I'm not happy...I want more!!!!😁😇 All three books have been, in turn, nostalgic, scary, full of mystery, tense and romantic. I read constantly in all sorts of genres and still Ms. Andrews caught me by surprise with the ending. No complaints, however. I would (and will) recommend these books to anyone. They are well worth your time.

Great story, ties up all three books neatly... The end is just the beginning

The wasn't a thing about this book that I disliked. I did have to put it down due a few minutes because I was trying to hurry myself. It built up well, and ended... well no spoilers except to say that... Lol sorry no spoilers!

A spectacular ending to the series! I roared through this book in a matter of hours. It is full of so much action and adventure as well as magic for the masses. I can't believe how much I truly enjoyed the world of Pendomus! I would love to see a spin off series with some of the characters. Or heck just additional books to continue the world.

If possible, the world-building became even less clear in this book than it was in the first two. I thought the main characters ended their arcs pretty well, but I'm not sure why Andrews decided to throw in a time-travel storyline in the third book that had no real setup in the first two.

A great Sci-fi adventure. I love stories with unusual environments and creatures populating a planet. Carissa does a great job with her world building and I thoroughly enjoy her writing. What a wonderful ending to this series. I was puzzled how she was going to wrap this up. I highly recommend the Pendomus Chronicles is a must read and Carissa did not disappoint. You won't believe what happened to Trae and Videus the final battle is amazing.
