This one has been my favorite of the bunch, so far! The author made a great plot that gave the H/h a real reason to have had the chance to fall in love. I think I’m popping this one up to 4.5.


A Rakehell’s Heart by Annabel Joseph: 3 stars
A little boring but I was intrigued. I would have read more. But also, I hate it when the hero/ine is shown being intimate with a different person.

Felt like I entered an AR breeding story. And I am SICK TO DEATH of rape/attempted rape in my damn Romances! Saving someone from rape attempt should NEVER BE YOUR MEET-CUTE. Rape as a meet-cute: 1 star deduction. And WTF is up with NOT taking the people who were assaulted to the fucking hospital??? AND having them shower + get rid of their clothes? Don’t you want to stop these gang raping maniacs? The police need evidence to do their jobs, fuckers.

Fuck you for making a reunited lovers story that has the heroine making shit up in her head and then turns into a bitter bitch. The heroine walks in on her BF when she discovers two chicks in the house. So she runs away and doesn’t allow him to explain he was not cheating. For 10 fucking years? SO for 10 years this chick is a bitter bitch who spends the next 10 years pining and being a woman scorned. Fuck this shit.

I actually enjoyed this one a lot more than I thought I would! I did feel pretty bad for the heroine: she was not raised to be the mafia princess (daughter of the crime lord) that she was forced to become.


Shear Heaven by Katy Regnery: 3 stars
I liked this one, though I was not fond of the fact that the heroine was basically a doormat for her Godmother. While I liked the story, it didn’t feel overly romantic as the wicked godmother and the entire situation with arranged marriages for the prince was…hanging over the story like a dead weight. And that portion was never resolved.

Note: Shear Heaven is a fairy tale re-tell of Rapunzel.

Yeah. IDK. I love a good mating story but WTF, people????!?? Do we have to have kidnappings and families ripped apart?? Mothers crying and screaming for their children?? FUCK THIS SHIT. Also, just to attempt to see if the author had the ability to redeem the shit given in this anthology…I checked out her other books in this universe. Oh, WTF?? It’s all that I want to pass on. Cheating and raping and in the end, everybody dies. FAIL.

Theirs to Love by Celeste Jones: In progress.
Its not looking promising… I sorta hate it when authors want to do a menage love story…and then go for full fantasy with an IRL setting. Look, it’s oh so doubtful there’s an entire community of brothers who only hook up with a single woman. Come on, try harder to come up with a believable situation and plotline for the kink.



Bad Prince by Ava Sinclair: DNF
OK. WTF. I just can’t get down with cheating – even if the H/h were “made to be together.” Ugh. Imagine if Prince Harry stole Kate away from William AFTER the engagement announcement. UGH. I’ll pass.

I have only read Royally Screwed by Alexis Alvarez, but it won’t be long before I’ll be devouring the rest of the stories in this anthology! It was wildly romantic! When an average woman is hired to photograph a real life prince, she never expected to find herself on a private jet flying across the world within 24 hours. After they come together to help Henri’s brother, Maya discovers she’s in no hurry to return to the real world. And I don’t blame her! Who wouldn’t want to run off with a sizzling hot prince and live happily ever after!? I loved the instant connection, the hot sexy times, and the humor! This was a great little novella!

**I only read Shear Heaven by Katy Regnery**

I love Regnery's A Modern Fairytale series and Shear Heaven, a novella based on Rapunzel, was an okay addition. I realize it's hard to capture in a novella, but there was no tension, no struggle. Just a very easy HEA. And I was disappointed there was no comeuppance for you know who. Meh.

Review of Royally Screwed by Alexis Alvarez

Did you ever dream of meeting a dark, tall and handsome Prince? What girl hasn't??
Did you ever stick your big foot in your even bigger mouth? We probably all have at one time or another.
Did you ever do both at the same time? Highly unlikely.

But, such is the case for poor Maya Murphy, who doles out multiple insults to the Prince Henri not realizing that he is, in fact, right behind her. And upon turning around, Maya realizes that he is, most definitely, tall, dark and handsome.

Maya and her friend, Mags, work for the charity Save our Smiles. Henri and his brother, Erik, have made a donation to the organization on behalf of their country and are in town for a press conference, photo shoot and briefing. But Erik isn't *really* up to the task, as he has been secretly struggling with some substance issues. Henri steps in. And in a private meeting after the debacle, sparks fly - both in anger and in sexual tension- between the Prince and Maya.

Over the next 24 hours, there's a near-kidnapping, a fairytale like transformation, a lot of vomit, a royal ball, some snarky comments, and oh, yeah, some smoking hot sex. And the day wraps up with an unexpected (at least on Maya and Mags' part) private flight overseas.

Maya and Henri begin to explore what is happening between them- both romantically and personally. But Maya convinces herself that a relationship with a foreign prince is the stuff of dreams, or books, and not reality, although she feels like she is leaving part of her heart with Henri. Henri is heartbroken at Maya's departure. Is this the end for Maya and Henri? Can these two find a way to have their fairytale happily ever after?

If you know Alexis Alvarez, you know she won't leave you wanting (in any sense of the word...)

The great thing about authors coming together and publishing box set deals is, you get to get a taste of how new to you authors write. Or if you’ve read an author and want to read what they have been working on, these box sets are great!!!

I really enjoyed reading the stories I did. They are all different but the same in that they all have such Bad Boys in them!!! The Prince who kept his title secret from the hairdresser, The Mafia guy sent to collect a young lady who thought she could run away from ‘the family’, The Prince who had an arranged marriage with his best friend at a young age now coming to collect on his arrangement, to finally the movie star who always gets his way till the screenwriter turns out to be someone from his past…

Great Job, Ladies on this collaboration of Stories!!!

Amazing Boxset

Decadence by Jennifer Bene
Finn and Aubrey and the perfect couple (for each other, lol). Jennifer Bene has quickly become one of my favorite authors and this book is just another reason why. The story itself is so original, two sex addicts who find each other and happiness in the most unusual of circumstances.
I can't wait to read more from the other amazing authors in this box set:)

Mafia Princess by Natasha Knight
I've had other books by this author on my TBR list and now after reading this novella they will definitely be getting bump up! Mafia Princess is a short story about one of the secondary characters mentioned in Dominic: A Dark Mafia Romance. Getting this sneak peak of Gregorio and Allegra and how their relationship starts has gotten me wanting more.

But when her past finally catches up with her and forces her back to Monaco and Prince Roman, she can no longer resist the passion between them. This quick and sexy novella is an excellent addition to this box set.

Royalty, American Style by Livia Grant
Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of The Bachelor or any show like that but this book made me smile with every turn of the page. When Colton King agrees to do a bachelor type show he doesn't expect to fall in love with any of the contestants and he doesn't. The woman who completely steals the show, and his heart, isn't even in the running. So why is she the only one he can see himself falling for?

I was fortunate enough to read an early copy of Royally Screwed by Alexis Alvarez.. and my, what a roller coaster ride.. princes, galas, private jet planes.. and all the hot sex in the world ;)

Maya and Mags travel to the fictional kingdom of Slydavia to promote their charity to help little children in Africa, and on the way get to meet Erik and Henri, the two princes endorsing it.. one runs off, freshly seperated from his wife, so Henri engages the help of Maya to find the runaways.

On that journey laughs are had, jokes are made, innuendos and teases spoken.. and you can think where this may lead.

Alexis Alvarez once again manages to write a compelling, delicious story, just on that edge of believable and so damn sexy.
Can't wait to read the other stories in the anthology.

Royally Mine is an anthology of 22 short stories by 22 bestselling authors that's over 1,500 pages long. This review contains six stories to give you an idea of the diversity in this book.

First is Royally Screwed by Alexis Alvarez, a delightfully steamy romance starring main characters Maya and Henri. This story is incredibly engaging. I was literally blown away by the storyline. Maya's and Henri's journey is rare, unexpected, full of highs, lows, joy, despair, and everything in between. The characters are realistic and charismatic, including the minor characters who play integral roles. The multiple relationships are fascinating. I was totally captivated from the first to last pages. The ending was totally unexpected. This was one of my favorite stories in the book.

Second is Decadence by Jennifer Bene. If you've never read anything by Jennifer Bene, this is the perfect story with which to begin. The main characters, Aubrey and Finn, share a very unique perceived problem. The story of their journey together is altogether enchanting. This story also has characters that draw you in and make you feel as if you're experiencing their adventures right alongside them. Jennifer Bene is a master storyteller, and she's one of my favorite authors. I couldn't have asked for more in a story. Kudos, Jennifer Bene, for another very well-written story!

Third is Consumed by Addison Cain. I've long wanted to read Ms. Cain's books. She comes highly recommended but I've not been able to read her books until now. That's definitely changed! Consumed is a sci-fi/erotic romance that captured my imagination so quickly and firmly I didn't take a single break from start to finish. The main characters, Morgaine and Simin, are magnificent. The multiple settings are breathtaking. The story is filled with highs and lows, complete uncertainty, and a totally unpredictable ending. These characters continue in Ms. Cain's Alpha's Claims series. I've already purchased the first book in the series. I've found another favorite author in Addison Cain. This story is truly remarkable!

Fourth is Royalty, American Style by Livia Grant. Livia Grant is another favorite author. This is an all-American story with very unusual elements. The main characters, Colton King and Harper Gardener, are unique and very well-crafted. I started out feeling one way about all the characters, and ended up with completely different emotions at the end. Livia Grant has written a compelling, emotionally-driven story with characters that are as realistic as they come. I absolutely adored this story. Livia Grant alternately took my heart from the highest of highs to the deepest of lows and to every level in between. This is another marvelous story in this anthology.

Fifth is Mafia Princess by Natasha Knight. I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Natasha Knight is a new author for me, and I have to admit that mafia romance stories aren't normally my cup of tea. But this story is different. It's not stereotypical in any way. I loved the characters, the story, and the ending. The two main characters, Gregorio Santa Maria and Allegra Antonino, aren't just charismatic. They're larger-than-life and so very appealing. I have to say my first Natasha Knight reading experience has left me wanting more. I truly enjoyed this story. If you like mafia-type romances, I think you're going to love this one. Thanks, Ms. Knight, for your superb story.

Last, but certainly not least, is by another favorite, Lee Savino, Royally F****d. To say I loved it would be an understatement. It captured my imagination and sucked me in from the first word. The two main characters, Theo Kensington and Vesper Smith, are not your everyday, run-of-the-mill characters, and neither is their story. This is an over-the-top, exceptional romance that's unusual in so many ways. Lee Savino has a way with words and character development that very few authors have. It's so hard not to give away this story so I'll simply say that I cherished every word. Lee Savino, you've outdone yourself once again!

One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. USE THESE RESOURCES. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHORS! They work extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice.

I read "Royally Screwed" by Alexis Alvarez, and it had all of the usual characteristics of her writing in a snack-sized package. As usual, there were fun secondary characters, humorous and witty banter, and a side of kink. I'll admit that I wasn't thrilled with Prince Henri in the beginning, but by the end, he (and Alvarez) had won me over. As usual.

With 22 stories written by a great lineup of very talented authors *AND* a price of only 99 cents, you'd be crazy not to read it.

Well, let your imagination run wild. Thats what Ms Bene did with this delightfully sensual, dirty little peace of writing. In her usual descriptive language she takes you through an orgy of wild, luscious antics and does not let you come up for air.
I can't wait for the promised full lenght story in 2018.

Awesome Series

Decedence by Jennifer Bene; This was a hot, steamy, sexy story that was action packed from the beginning. Aubrey and Finn are so hot and steamy, one would need to take a shower after finishing this story. A quick read for me but still a fun story.

Royalty, American Style by Livia Grant. Livia knocks this one out of the park! Colt is the classic baseball playboy, sleeping with a different women seemingly every night. He has the looks, charm and celebrity status that most dream about having. Harper is a chef in NYC who has just had her life turned upside down by her cheating boyfriend. These two would never have met except for they both signed up to be on a new reality show. Harper is the chef for the guests of Colt who is surrounded by 6 gorgeous women all vying for Colt's attention. However, Colt has already found the woman he wants to marry, Harper. This is a feel good story with a happy ending that tugs at your heart strings. 5 stars Livia!!

Review for Dogwalker and the Prince by Nora Flite

Once you put aside just how massively unrealistic the plot is, this is actually quite an entertaining story.

It's short but fun, was very well written and had some good plot twists. Both Nellie and Bishop were likeable characters and the chemistry between them was very hot and totally believable. In some ways it was a little too insta-love for my liking but then the book took a turn and had their relationship develop over a longer period of time.

It's written first person, mainly from Nellie's POV but with enough chapters from Bishop's perspective to allow us to get to know him too. My only 'criticism' (if you could even call it that) would be that Bishop wasn't really a bad boy at all, he was actually a very sweet, if dirty mouthed, hot, lovable alpha male.

If the other books are like this it should be a fun read.

Livia Grant-Royalty, American Style

The last and longest story in this boxset, but certainly not the least. Colton King is the king of baseball and a playboy. He is going to be the star of a new reality show, a sort of X-rated Bachelor. Spending 6 weeks with 6 beautiful women. That should be easy enough right? Harper is hired as a chef for the cast and crew of the show.

It is a wonderful, well written, funny, sexy and romantic story of two people falling in love. Of making mistakes, choosing to do the right thing even though it hurts, taking risks by opening your heart for someone. And about finding yourself and what you want. You are the King after all.

Jennifer Bene - Decadence

The story of Finn and Aubrey. Both of them are addicted to sex, but they deal with it very differently. This is a very unconventional lovestory. It is very sexy and hot, but also funny and at the same time also emotional. .

Finn is a bit of a spoilt little rich kid, but I loved the way he told Aubrey she was perfect just the way she was. There is no need to change and don’t make excuses for being you. There is the most amazing Bacchanal scene in this book, it is something you don’t read everyday. So don’t miss this story.

Renee Rose- Her Royal Master

The story of Chelsea and Darius. Chelsea is a young reporter looking for a story. Being on on a yacht with a couple of young hot royals sounds like a great idea. Darius is known as the black sheep of the family. He knows something is off about Chelsea and he will do anything to find out the truth.

What I loved about this novella that even though it is a short, there is so much story and character development. It reads like a full length novel. 3 days changes everything and everybody. There is an instead connection between Chelsea and Darius. And Darius unlocks feelings in Chelsea she didn't know she had. It is a wonderful, emotional and sexy story.

Lee Savino- Royally Fucked

The story of prince Theo who has a massive pr problem and Vesper who is a fixer. What I loved about this story is that things and the people aren’t what they seem to be. Don’t judge a book by its cover is a good way to describe the characters in the book. This novella made me laugh at loud, but also made me all hot and bothered. That is a perfect combination.

Alta Hensley - Bad Boys and Bourbon

This short story will give you a taste of the full lenght novel that will come out later this year.

It is the story of Roman and Cheri, childhood friends and lovers. They are suppose to marry eachother, but Cheri wants nothing to do with the whole royalty world. They meet again after 10 years apart. Even though it is a very short story I did find myself yelling at my Kindle a few times. There is an amazing chemistry between the characters. I can't wait the read the full novel.

Maggie Ryan - Becoming her King

The story of Judd (King of the big screen) and Danielle. Two former lovers who reunite on a movieset. It is a beautiful well written story which transports the reader into a wonderful romantic lovestory.

At first glance Judd comes across as a typical spoilt pampered moviestar and Danielle as the prickly ex girlfriend, but slowly their true persona’s appear and you will be rooting for these characters. The story made me laugh and made me feel all warm inside and it was also sexy.

Addison Cain - Consumed

I you love Addison’s Alpha’s Claim books, then you will love this story. If you are new to the whole Omegaverse world then this is a great introduction. It is a totally new world then the Alpha Claim world, so you don’t miss out and it will be made into a full lenght novel.

This is the story of Morgaine who has been hiding her Omega nature to herself and the Alpha’s. When she gets caught her whole world gets turned upside down. Addison does an amazing job of portraying Morgaine’s feelings, her doubts and struggles while she is trying to make sense of everything that is happening to her. And off course there is a very hot Alpha who will do anything to make his claim.

I am a HUGE fan of fairy-tales. I LOVE those Happily Ever Afters. And I have to say Katy gave us the PERFECT novella of Rapunzel. This being my first ever Katy book, I was AMAZED!! Like I stated, Shear Heaven is the modern version of Rapunzel. And as a woman who is OBSESSED with fairy-tales, I couldn't wait to read this.

Shear Heaven is a novella, it's fast-paced, and easy to follow. A quick, sexy, fun read. The strong feelings between Nico and Bella grow rapidly. And I ADORED them. Not only am I a fan of fairy-tales, but I LOVE the insta-love at first sight books.

Shear Heaven is a very sweet and romantic novella. I felt that Nico and Bella's story is so sweet, and definitely swoon worthy. I read it in one sitting, and couldn't get enough.

I can't wait to get my hands on the longer full story that Katy is releasing later this year. I will definitely go and read the other books in Katy's fairy-tale series. I'm absolutely a fan of hers now. She definitely spins a magic with her words and the Happily Ever After of the tales.

In true Alta Hensley fashion, we get a seductive, sexy, steamy hot tale. And Alta never falls to deliver a PERFECT novella! She continues to be a FAVORITE author of mine!!!

When Cheri is summoned by Prince Ramon. She is not thrilled by the prospect of going home, or seeing the man she's been betrothed to. Ramon and Cheri grew up together. Ramon was Cheri's first kiss, first everything. But Cheri feels that lifestyle isn't for her.

Prince Ramon has never gotten over Cheri. And he's determined to being her home and marry her.
Prince Ramon is EVERYTHING you've come to expect from Alta. He's domineering, sexy, 100% alpha.

I LOVED every word of this story! And I can't wait until we get the full length book later this year!! 5 solid stars!

My review for ~ Mafia Princess by Natasha Knight.

This was my very firat experience with Ms Knight's words. And I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this short story. I'm not normally a mafia reader, however this story was very enjoyable, and made me want more!!

I really enjoyed the characters, their storyline, and their chemistry. Gregorio Santa Maria is in the Mafia world. He's asked to find Allegra Antonino, and does just that. Their banter is quite funny. And their chemistry is SMOKING!

I really enjoyed this short story. If you're a fan of mafia-type romances, then this little novella is not to be missed. A solid 4 star read!

Katy Regnery's Modern Fairy Tale stories are new to me and I am loving them. I love her twists on our favorite fairytales in modern times and Shear Heaven was no exception. Shear Heaven was her take on Rapunzel.

Bella Capelli may live in New York's Metro Tower Hotel and she may work for the world-famous Innsbrook Salon, but it is still a prison to her. Her godmother, Madame Gothel, took her in when Bella's parents died, but allows her no freedom and barely pays her. But with no other options, she makes the best of it.

His Serene Highness Nicolo Alessandro Lorenzo Giovanni De'Medici, or Nico De'Medici as Bella meets him, has duties and responsibilities he must fulfill. But one look at Bella and he is lost to her. But they are not allowed to be together, so they steal moments together.

This was a quick read that was very sweet and a bit angsty. Both Bella and Nico have so many obstacles to overcome, yet together they find a connection they cannot resist. But can they find a way to be together or is the few stolen moments they get all they will have?

If you're familiar with powerhouse author Addison Cain & Jennifer Bene, you know they write DARK like no other.

So I was beyond pleasantly SHOCKED at how sexy and SWEET Jennifer Bene's Decadence was. HOT. And I laughed! (Super cute original gift, ha ha)
A nice, fast, different romance with both characters dealing with addiction. 5 Stars.

Review of Shear Heaven by Katy Regnery:

I am a huge - HUGE fan of Katy Regnery's modern fairytales. A couple of them go down as some of my favorite books of all time. So I was beyond excited to get an early copy of Shear Heaven, a re-telling of the Rapunzel fairytale and, you guys? This might be the most fairytale-iest of all the fairytales.

It's a novella, so it's an easy, fast-paced read which also means that things move very quickly. This is something I sometimes struggle with in novellas and there were some moments early on where I had some trouble keeping up with the rapidly developing feelings between Nico and Bella. But the whole premise is so earnestly sweet and breathtakingly romantic that it ultimately didn't take my heart long to jump on board. Nico and Bella were literally the ultimate fairytale - sweet, swoony, and desperately in love, and there went my heart, right along for the ride.

There are no lemons in this incredible series. Shear Heaven can be read in one sitting, and frankly that's probably how you'll read it - whether you plan it that way or not - because Ms. Regnery's words are as captivating and enchanting as ever and this was another effortless hit for me! ~ Shelly, 4.5 Stars

My Review:

I much prefer Katy Regnery’s modern-day versions fairytales to the original stories as Ms. Regnery’s are much more fun. To be honest, I really can’t remember much about Rapunzel other than she was locked away in a tower and had extremely long hair. Bella also had exceptionally long beautiful hair but had little time to do much else but clean and sleep in her slave driver/Godmother’s penthouse apartment as she was typically toiling away as an unpaid stylist/receptionist/janitor in her Godmother’s salon. Her prince came knocking on the salon door, begging for assistance after hours in panicked Italian, and her fairytale began. As with all Katy Regnery stories, Shear Heaven was an easy, enjoyable, entertaining, and deliciously spicy read with amusing observations and technicolor details. It was a quick and pleasant escape into a “someday my prince will come” fantasy.

Jennifer Bene-Decadence 5*

If you have ever wondered what happens when 2 sex addicts hook up, then wonder no longer. Jennifer Bene is more than happy to show you with Finn and Aubrey.

They meet up at a bar that Finn has followed Aubrey too. She's just left his therapist, he ditched his. After a bathroom close encounter of the 3rd kind, Finn, a royal relative to the throne of Norway, manages to get Aubrey's phone number, even though she really wants to have no strings. The question is, can 2 sex addicts discover they are perfect and find their HEA?

This story is a slight departure for Jennifer. She tends to write much heavier, darker, twisted stories. This is a lovely, light, and funny story, with lots and lots of sex, and even some more sex on top of that. It's an excellent story, and I enjoyed it immensely. I think it will be one of my frequent rereads.

Addison Cain-Consumed 5*

Addison once again takes us into an Omegaverse. This isn't the same world as her Alpha's Claim series, but it does follow the same dynamics.

Morgaine has always hidden whenever Alphas come to her village. She feels sick and in pain before they come, so she always has a warning. Then one day, the Alphas come to her village and threaten her mother, so she surrenders herself and is taken away. That's when she finds out that she's an Omega, and one Alpha will own her. She's "trained" and treated cruelly as if she is not even a person. Then the Omri Heidron, Simin walks in. He sees her and knows that she is his soulmate.

Poor Morgaine, she doesn't know what she is and she's terrified and all of a sudden she's taken by a man whose language she doesn't even know. Luckily, there are people who are willing to teach her and help her figure out who she is and what she needs.

I love this story and want more of it, so bad. I love Addison's Omegaverse stories, whatever world they are in.

Livia Grant-Royalty, American Style 4*

Colton is a professional baseball player with a playboy reputation. He has signed up to be on a "Bachelor"-style show with 6 women. Since it's going to be on cable, anything can happen, and the women on the show really want it to happen. But the problem is, the one person that Colton is interested in isn't one of those 6 women. She's the chef that was hired to feed everyone, Harper.

Harper is coming off a very bad relationship, where her ex cheated on her. She currently has no home and no job outside of this one. All she wants to do is cook and try to live her dream of making it as a chef. Her plan doesn't include Colton King showing up and falling for him.

I love the chemistry between the two of them, and the lengths that he is willing to go to so that she is protected and they can get their HEA.

Alta Hensley-Bad Boys and Bourbon 4.5*

This story answers the question as to whether or not royal arranged marriages are still around.

Cheri, a daughter of a Count and Countess, was promised to Roman, a prince, while they were both children. They have been all of each other's firsts, first kiss, first lover, etc. Cheri decides that she can't handle the whole royal life and all of its expectations, so she runs away. Many years later, Roman's errand boy shows up in Costa Rica to haul Cheri back to Roman, who is currently in Monaco, so that they can get married. When Cheri and Roman meet up again after all those years, sparks start to fly and totally ignite the bedroom.

This is a nice story, with some very nice sting in it. The only reason I gave it a 4.5 instead of a 5 is because I happen to know that this story is introducing a new series by Alta, and I wanted more of this couple. Alta's just a mean tease. LOL. <3 you Alta.

Natasha Knight-Mafia Princess 4*

Gregorio is the boss of one Mafia family. He's been asked to track down the half-sister of another boss, from a related family. Her name is Allegra. When he finds her, she's at a dance club, and really doesn't want to go with him. When he gets her to his house, she does everything she can to get away. She's obviously afraid of something, or someone. Can Gregorio save her? Will they have their HEA without her half-brother messing with them?

This story is all from Gregorio's POV, which is an interesting way to write a romance story. I liked it though. It was a good story.

Renee Rose-Her Royal Master 5*

Chelsea, a journalist, is living with an Italian model. When her roommate gets sick right before a big job, Chelsea gets drafted. The big job? Be a willing sub, along with other young women, to a boat full of royal Doms and dom wannabees. Chelsea had no clue what she was walking into, other than the fact that she was getting to go spend several days at sea on the Prince of Halsburg's party yacht. She figured she'd be able to get some kind of good story out of it.

One of the young men there spot her, and triggers her into a panic. Enter Darius, the Devil Duke. He's the prince's ne'er do well cousin, and has a reputation to live down to. He rescues Chelsea and promptly punishes her.

When they get back to the dock, Chelsea runs off, and even leaves the country. Turns out she had a very good reason to. Wonderful HEA.

I love this story. You get Renee's sweet and spicy mix, with a whole lot of lust thrown in.

Lee Savino-Royally Fucked 5*

Vesper Smith is a fixer. It's her job to take bad reputations and rehabilitate them, and she's darn good at it. However, her newest job is going to be her toughest job ever. She has to fix Theo Kensington, billionaire son of a Greek hotelier and a Sweedish Princess. Not only does she have to get ahead of sex tapes and his own behavior, she has a week to do it before the board of directors for his business is going to vote as to whether or not to keep him on the board and, oh yeah, just for fun and giggles, his estranged grandmother, the Queen of Sweden wants to meet up.

Theo has been called a sex god, and he wants to show Vesper what he's really good at, and doesn't really want to try to rehabilitate himself. So, what's going to happen? And does this prince ever get his princess so that they can live happily ever after?

I love Lee's story. Vesper is a strong woman and manages to stand up to Theo and even get him to do what she wants him to do, but she doesn't roll him over. It's a hard line to walk, and Vesper does it so well.

Annabel Joseph takes us to the faraway kingdom of Hastings from a long time ago to encounter the most handsome man whore Prince Gideon of Hastings, who is about to embark on an arranged marriage. It isn't long until we get to meet Gideon in a very compromising position that a reader can't help but giggle about. I fell immediately for Gideon's carefree philandering ways that quickly change when he lays eyes on the dark haired beautiful Carlisle princess that is soon to be his wife. If you love royal scoundrels then Gideon is the man for you! Annabel's writing soon had me enchanted and ready to witness every moment of Gideon and Cassandra's “passionate consummation”.


A Princess for Cale by Susan Stoker

This story contains not one hot, hard, and handsome Prince, but two gorgeous twin Princes star in this one! Susan Stoker chooses to focus all of our attention on Prince Cale Alexander and his damsel in distress Katelin Kriss from the wrong side of the tracks. Katelin and Cale are emotionally intense, hot, and so full of heart that a reader could never resist getting to know them. If you are looking for a possessive prince with the white knight syndrome, look no further! My only hope is to get up and close and personal with his twin in future books... Susan, we want more!

Table For Two by Nikki Sloane

Wow! I had no idea what I was in for when I started reading Table for Two by Nikki Sloane, because I had never read anything from her before. I just knew that I had to because her reputation proceeds her and I now know why. Julian and Courtney could singe a reader's eyes with their heat and I am a complete and total goner for best friend romances. As far as I am concerned after learning more about this dark skinned gorgeous billionaire who rules his blindfold sex club with the skill of a King along with Courtney's body, I couldn't have fallen more in love and lust. Theirs is a love story built on seven years of denied sexual gratification that leaves both them and the reader in a state of euphoria and ongoing heart palpitations... but you really shouldn't take my word for it. You have to meet and experience Julian and Courtney for yourself!

I have been a huge fan of Alexis Alvarez's stories for quite some time, so when she pens another hero and heroine for me drool over I am there to read and fawn all over her writing. This time she gives her readers a cocky Prince and a heroine with a sarcastic sense of humor that I was immediately drawn to. Just when I think I can't love Alexis's writing anymore than I already do, she pulls me into another one of her amazing stories and titillating scenes. I loved getting to know Maya Murphy, a photographer of a noble organization from Chicago and Prince Henri Bastien. They kept me either laughing or hot and bothered from page to page with their sardonic back and forth and uncontrollable passion! Alexis, keep your stories kinky and coming our way and readers will continue to read and fall in love with your characters, red hand prints and all!

Now I know what all Natasha's fans have been raving about and look forward to more of her dark mafia romances. Gotta love a dark prince!

If You Were Mine by Jenika Snow

In If You Were Mine, Jenika Snow shows her readers what kind of heartfelt emotions and filthy thoughts can take place between Lennon, the Prince of Hemingway, and one of his commoner servants Daisy. They have been denying their attraction for years but all it take is a night out at the local Pub to have temperatures scorching all around them and getting hotter by the second. What's not to love about a Prince who is the black sheep of the family and a rags to riches love story that is filled with lots of moaning and dirty talk?

If you are looking to rub elbows with the rich, dark, and handsome, this collection has something for everyone! I highly recommend Royally Mine to enjoy more stories by some of your favorite authors and discovering more than a few new names to add to that list. I can never get enough of these cuff link wearing, filthy mouthed, crowned hotties and the sassy, headstrong, and virginal women that stole their hearts. Get ready for some heat from these twenty-two talented and imaginative authors!

Shear Heaven by Katy Regnery is a beautiful twist on the classic fairytale, Rapunzel. This original, sweet little novella is sure to warm your heart and place a smile to you face. Though short in length, it is not short on feels. Captivating and fast-paced, it was easy to get lost in this fairytale, dreaming of a happily ever after.

Since her parents passed away four years ago, Bella has been living with and working for her godmother, the owner of the world-famous Innsbruck Salon and Spa. Understaffed and over worked, it’s a less than ideal situation for Bella who dreams of better things.

One evening while closing the spa, a man shows up in need of a hair stylist for his twin sister's engagement party. After Bella hears the desperation in Nico's voice, she is unable to refuse his request and comes to their rescue unaware that Nico is an Italian prince.

The moment Bella and Nico meet, there's a spark. They have a connection that is simple and pure, yet the situation couldn't be more complicated. His family has hit hard times and their fortune is not as large as it once was. Marrying for love is out of the question when a royal union would fix all of Nico's problems.

I loved this novella. It’s a charming story with wonderful characters. Bella was beautiful inside and out. She had a huge heart and was genuinely sweet. She was innocent and naive but still had hopes and dreams. I loved that she did not shy away from her attraction to Nico even if she knew her heart would break in the end.

She was discovering, minute by minute, that it wasn’t his love for her that would hurt her in the long run. No. It would be her love for him that could destroy her, that could leave a lasting and agonizing mark on her soul.

Nico made me smile and I absolutely adored him. He is so sweet and totally swoony worthy. The way he treated Bella and the things he did for her warmed my heart. I loved that even though he had a soul crushing decision to make he still went all in for Bella knowing it would end in heartbreak.

Nico and Bella are a match made in heaven. Though they are from two different worlds, they fit together perfectly. It was easy being together and each one was exactly what they other wanted out of life. I loved that Bella's calmness and sincerity was what Nico needed, and Nico gave Bella the experiences she longed for. Their desires were so beautifully described that I felt their yearning deep down. They have a whirlwind romance full of passion where love conflicts with duty and yet, they made the most of their time together.

“Let’s not ask for eternity,” she said softly, “when we have now.”

I felt the devastation when they could not be together and I had tears glistening along with Bella and Nico. I was nervous as the ending neared praying for an answer to their heartbreak.

She would choose wonderful with him, and suffer unwonderful without him later.

Though I'm not always a fan of love at first sight, when it's done right, it's beautiful. I loved watching Bella and Nico fall in love and I fell right along with them. My heart fluttered and my breath hitched. The emotions were strong and realistic even if it was insta-love. As a short story it's understandable that things had to progress quickly and I loved the way they did.

Shear Heaven is romantic and sweet. It's a wonderful addition to Katy's ~a modern fairytale~ collection and will make you believe in fairytales.
