Tool Crib: A woodworking primer for young folks

Rate this book
For generations, woodworking has been used as a creative outlet for children. Fortunately, many perfectly usable tools are still around today! There are fine examples sitting on shelves in flea markets, antique malls and second hand stores, just waiting to be discovered and put back to work! Written with the simplicity of a nursery rhyme, and with illustrations of common (vintage) examples, this book serves as an introduction to the basic set of traditional hand tools you might look for to get your little ones interested in this timeless craft. (workbench plans included!)

My kid liked this for a time. The pictures are all black and white, but it helped him learn the names of common tools.
