Between a secret battle to reassemble a dismembered evil god and a threat from destiny-altering beings waiting in the wings, the world's strongest little brother seems to have enough on his mind. But there's even more waiting in store for Yuichi Sakaki, and things are about to get more chaotic by the week. Soon, a yakuza gang is stalking his little sister, a demon doll is stalking Aiko, an overzealous archer is stalking him... and that's only the beginning!
The latest volume in this saga... doesn't really progress the saga. Instead, we're getting short stories with Yuichi solving problems, mainly involving Yokai, Japanese demons and ghosts. As such, this volume doesn't progress many of our established stories, though it does add characters and has a hook at the end that'll make you want to read the next volume.
The stories themselves are fun and funny, with a few exceptions (the cover character's story, Yuichi's sister Yoriko, is one of the worst actually).
Natsuki Takeuchi once again takes a huge backseat, which is a disappointment if you're a fan of hers.
Overall, enjoyed my time with this, and breezes through most of it in a sitting.
This volume had a bunch of short stories vibe. I not a big fan of shorty stories but this where all in order and have function. All an all each story was good.
