The Ethnostate

First published in 1993 by the author of The Dispossessed Majority, this seminal work on ethnonationalism lays out the practical and moral necessity for the creation of a European ethnostate, either in America or Europe, as the only way in which the European people and civilization can be saved from the imminent swamping of the First World by the Third. This book does not deal with the "how" of such a state is to be achieved, but is rather focused on why it is necessary and what its structure should be. After first properly enunciating the need for a smaller homogenous state-as opposed to minority status in a large polyglot country-he delves into what should the preferred political structures, economic systems, educational standards, moral and social norms, the requirements of art and culture-and almost every other facet of an organized society. This, he argues, is necessary to regenerate European civilization after what he sees-and appears increasingly likely-as the final collapse of the United States of America, and, very likely, Western Europe under a Third World tsunami.

About the author

Wilmot Robertson, born John Humphrey Ireland Jr., was an American author, conservative activist, and white nationalist. He is best known for his book The Dispossessed Majority, published in 1972, which presented a white worldview and argued for the preservation of the white majority in the United States.

The Dispossessed Majority promoted the idea that white Americans were under threat from immigration, multiculturalism, and liberal social policies. Robertson argued that white Americans were becoming marginalized in their own country and advocated for the preservation of white culture and identity.

In addition to The Dispossessed Majority, Robertson wrote several other books and essays promoting white nationalist and segregationist ideas. He founded the organization The Instauration in 1975, which served as a platform for his views and activism.

"It is considered per se immoral to advocate the survival of our race. We need to think about that when weighing the claims of our enemies to be the voices of love and tolerance.

The proposal of a homeland of our own is a modest proposal. It has been made several times in my lifetime. Two examples come immediately to mind. One is a book, The Ethnostate, by the late, esteemed Wilmot Robertson, my great friend of many decades. The other was made by Michael Hart at the second American Renaissance conference.

Why is this a modest proposal? Seventy percent of the people in this country are white Europeans. There is ample space for a generous partition and settlement with the other races in our society, in which they can be given homelands capable of a very comfortable standard of living, if they can sustain it. We wish them well, that they might sustain it."

To quote a friend of mine, "Interesting, non-original ideas for a society that will never accept them."

I wonder who the intended audience of this book is? All the worthwhile truths, predictions & observations in here would already be well known to any "ethno-nationalist" minded individual or group whereas the mere assertion of these facts or mentioning of these subjects cannot "convert a normie" and what's the point anyways? That's either preaching to the choir or barking up the wrong tree. This work is heavily focused on the author's vision of government, or lack thereof, and of course that ruling audience has no interest in this and by their very nature never will either. My conjecture is that W.R. was a smart, caring man that saw important trends happening and took a scholarly approach to discuss these in the public space, but to no avail or larger significance. Principally, the Ethnostate amounts to W.R.'s idealistic/utopian view of a restructuring of the world and its inhabitants that has a near zero chance of happening. 2.5/5

"Jews, who usually do well financially and politically when their host countries put the quietus on nationalism, have reservations about the ethnostate concept, except when it applies to Israel. At first glance the Zionist state is the realization of age-old hopes and dreams of those Jews longing to return to the homeland their ancestors left nearly two millennia ago. ...require the driving out and confiscating the property of a million or more inhabitants.
Israel was foisted on a land of non-Jews by force of arms and money." "Israel, however, is only part of a broader problem that faces world Jewry. Jews were in the forefront of the campaign to lift long-established immigration quotas, to open the gates that filled American cities with fellow Jews, Southern Europeans, Hispanics and Asians, that filled British cities with West Indians, Asian Indians and Pakistanis, German cities with Turks and French cities with Algerians and black Africans."
