***This is part one of a serial release. Approx. 12,000 words.***
Selena's world is turned upside down when she meets a mysterious man in a London nightclub. He’s a man with secrets, a man with enemies.
As the tangled web of secrets and lies begins to unfold, Lena needs to make a choice, but what’s a girl to choose when she knows that what she wants is wrong?
And him? He knows what he wants, and he’s going to do whatever it takes to get her, right or wrong be damned.
But Lena fracturing fate itself, driving it from the original path, wasn't a part his plan.
Cece Rose is the proud owner of one dog, two cats, two turtles, and one annoying boyfriend.
She hails from Devon in the South-West of England, but dreams of sunny skies and sand between her toes. Although, whenever abroad, she'll moan about the heat and the sand that gets everywhere.
She has largely convinced all who know her that she's a vampire, mainly due to her nocturnal habits and tendency to bite. In reality, it's because her creativity only ever strikes when the sky is dark and the stars are shining. (Plus, it's actually quiet enough to concentrate on writing when everyone else in the world is sleeping.)
This Serial is AMAZING. The prologue alone claws at your curiosity! I couldn't help wonder what was going to happen next and felt like I was at the edge of my seat. The main character, Selena (Lena for short) is totally bad ass. I love her personality and perspective on the situations she lands herself in.
Now let's go to my current, new hot book boyfriend, Cy!! Boi Oh Boi, bring me a fan. You can tell right off the bat that our lovely eye candy isn't all sexy and dominate personality.
I totally recommend this and I'm dying for part 2 so I can see what happens next.

Fractured Fate (Fated Part 1) is such a FREAKIN AWESOME start for the Fated Serial! Cece Rose is so unbelievably talented that you are hooked before the prologue is even over!
My only complaint...is that I NEED part 2 like now, but it is a serial so I knew what I was in for when I started! I knew I would have a dozen and some questions by the end. But that's what makes a great story right? Something that you can become so emotionally invested into even after only 6 chapters?
Seriously do yourself a favor and come along on Lena's epic tale of mysterious adventures . Part one leaves just enough of a BITE that you know you have to stick around until the end.
Fractured Fate is part one of the Fated Series, and can I just say what a hell of an beginning. We start off the prologue with bang, that grabs your attention and your interest pretty much from page one. As stated above, possible trigger warning so if that is an issue for you, you may consider. We start off with a interrogation scene. I found the writing intense and intriguing, giving nothing away which just upped my interest. I had questions of what did they want to know, who were they questioning her about, who was on the other end of the webcam, would he even care? Okay CeCe, I am totally invested now, interest complete. Chapter One we are introduced to Selena, Lena, and her friend Melissa. They are at a club. Melissa introduces Lena to two men she has met, Setting off Lena's journey into a paranormal world of Alpha men, mystery, intrigue, captivity, and not letting a hot sexy alpha tell her what to do. I really enjoyed Lena's attitude and not letting any one step all over her. And Cyrus, Cy, what can I say. Yes he is an ass, but oh man he can make me his captive any freaking time. With side characters that I can't wait to get to know, like Luc, Erik, Alex and James. But I will say the ones that have me intrigued are Luc and Erik. What will their stories be? I won't reveal much, don't want to spoil the rest. We will be getting the story in parts, but oh those are so good! I do have to say, well done CeCe, you have created a world that hooked me from the get go, and I need more please!
I absolutely loved this from the start. Cece Rose is an amazing writer. I was hooked from the prologue and the more I read the more I was intrigued. Lena is going to be a kickass FMC that you want to know what happens with her next.
I totally recommend reading this serial, I already can't wait for part 2. I can already tell that I will have a few more book boyfriends by the time the serial is over. Might have added some to my list already ;). It's on kindle unlimited, and if you don't like serials or don't want to read because it's short, please reconsider you won't regret it. It is a fantastic part 1, it will hook you like the first episode of a great to show.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Cece Rose is amazing! One of my new favorite writers. I normally don't do serials, but I would read any serial she puts out. It was dark, dirty, sexy and suspenseful! I want more NOW! RIGHT NOW! The character dynamic so far between Cy, or resident bad boy, and MC Lena is perfect. I see a lot of tension, good and bad, in the future...wink wink. Stop reading reviews, and grab this bad boy (hehe)!
I was instantly drawn right in with the first page! The first part of the serial has me asking so many questions and I cannot wait for them to be answered! The main character, Lena, is a smart-mouthed, yet loveable character (my favorite in a MC). And Cy, I can't wait to see if he's truly as bad as we think he is.
A reverse harem serial by one of my favourite authors - how can it be bad. And of course it isn't. Strong beginning, strong middle, strong end. Fantastic book, can't wait for the next instalment.

Wow!! Part one of this new serial starts with a bang, and the excitement does not stop! Incredibly well written, with interesting characters, all of whom seem to be hiding secrets, it is an explosive start in what promises to be a very high octane, exciting paranormal reverse harem story
Lena is minding her own business at a club, looking for her friend Cassandra when she is ready to leave she bumps into Cyrus and that's when things get freaky. Who and what is Cyrus? Where do the other guys she meets fit in?
Part one is an awesome start to this new series, and leaves you with more questions than answers in This early stage of the story. The writer draws you in completely with this wickedly delicious interest whetting first part leaving you glued to your seat in beautifully sweet anticipation
I urge you to read this series, I am hooked completely and utterly and I highly recommend this read
I'm so excited for this new serial. What an introduction! Cece comes out with a bang, draws us in and makes sure we have no choice but to hang on and enjoy the ride. I've already fallen for some of the characters and Cy... I'm so torn on Cy. Everyone makes him out to be this evil monster and maybe he is, we don't really know yet. I think you have to be the bad guy sometimes though when you are in charge and fighting to protect your people. Tremendous job by Cece on this and I seriously can't wait to find out what happens next.
I need more now please? I got hooked and then my kindle had no more pages to turn, and trust me I kept hitting the damn thing for more that I almost cracked the screen!
It was a good read and the book took us straight into the building of the story. The characters were also created well, which I think when you don't have much space to build them in is definitely hard to do. A few of the characters have already made an impression on me and I'm dying to know more about all of them.
I have so many questions that I need answered, I'm really hoping I won't have to wait too long for the next part. Definitely enjoyed this and looking forward to part two (hopefully very soon, hint hint)

Ok, I couldn't put this book down and I was so into it that when it ended I might have lost it a little! Seriously though I love Lena and all her sassiness even though she succumbs to hormones a bit just like the rest of us mortals! The jury is still out on the other guys, I haven't learned enough about them but I'm sure I'll have strong emotions one way or the other! Cece is so talented and I can't wait for the next installment!!!
I never have been into serials, but this one changed my mind. There is so much mystery and questions keep popping up in my mind, which makes me wanna read the next part. The fact that Cyrus did what he did is unacceptable. Can't even ask if it's cool or not! What a tool. Then there's Erik, which i gotta say, I feel like henis up to something.
&& can we all ask, what happened to her biffles!!!
Amazing is too small of a word to use to describe this book. The main character is flipping awesome! Lena reacts how people would react when put in her situation and makes it easier to relate to her. I can't wait to meet other characters and see the growth of the ones we met. I can't wait to read about the story of Cyrus and why James helps Lena against the orders of Cyrus. Many questions, but this is only part one, can't wait for the next part!
An absolutely amazing start to the serial. I cannot wait to read the next one. Story is fun and exciting. Well written and I have absolutely zero desire to put it down. A must read.
How can CeCe leave us like this? Cliffhanger alert *beep beep beep bloody beep*. It's a gripping first part of mini series and I'm excited to see where it will lead. I need the next part, like, yesterday.
This is part 1 of a Serial. RH is my favorite genre and this book didn't disappoint. I love Lena! She is smart and sassy. I'm not sure about the guys yet but I can't wait to read more! If you enjoy a good RH with some sexy werewolves then this serial is definitely a must read!
First I loved Fractured Fate. Cece Rose is a talented author and I love reading what she writes. This is a serial. That means short, sweet and cliffhangers from hell. I can't wait to see where this goes and to learn more about the characters.
What a brilliant start to this series, I'm hooked already. The characters and storyline so far are interesting and I'm looking forward to what happens next!
Fractured Fate is the first installment of the Fated Book Series. It's by Cece Rose, half of the writing team that brought us the incredible A Demon's Blade. This author can write! This book starts out strong and quickly engulfs you. Warning this is a dark reverse harem. The prologue starts out violent. This is going to be a sordid, gritty story. If you have triggers to violence, take note!
It starts out like any other night; Selena (Lena) and her best friend Melissa are out clubbing. Normal ends when Selena walks down the wrong hallway looking for her friend and accidently interrupts a meeting. One mistake, one meeting changes her life forever.
Lena is a wonderful, badass beauty. She faces the danger, the unusual predicament that she finds herself in head on. I love that she's not curled up in a fetal position, rocking in fear. The men that she is now involved with are mysterious, dangerous. Cyrus is the Alpha. I can't wait to find out more about this man who comes across lethal one moment, gentle the next. Is he just a monster or misunderstood? There's also Alex, James, Luc, and Erik. We don't know much about them yet, but there's a lot of yumminess there to get familiar with.
This first installment does exactly what it should do. It's well written and enthralling. It's sexy and mysterious. It hooks you immediately, so that you want more. NOW. If part 2 is as good as this installment, I will be addicted!
Starting from the very beginning, holy moly, that prologue! that sucked me in and has seriously set up some serious intrigue for the rest of the series. I need to know what the hell happened for the story to end up there!!
Fractured fate follows Lena, who is at a club with her friend when she stumbles upon a room full of men that she probably shouldn't have. Next thing she knows, an extremely attractive man is invading her personal space; some teeth are in her neck and she's getting very sleepy very quickly.
Lena wakes up in a strange house, with strange people who are talking about some very strange things. What i liked about Lena was that she never acted like the simpering damsel in distress, she got angry, she got strong and she just took it in her stride. Fractured Fate is supposed to be a reverse harem; so far we've been introduced to Cy the Alpha, Luc, Alex, Erik and James (who was with Melissa, last time we saw her). I like Cy, even though i think he needs some serious behavior modification. I like Luc so far, he seems more playful than the others we've met which brings some variety to the mix. We haven't really seen a whole lot of Alex or James so i don't have an opinion of them just yet. Erik however, gives me bad vibes, so i don't like him very much yet.
The writing flows and the story is written beautifully, i can see and feel everything that Lena is experiencing. This story is special and we've only read 40 pages of it, but i am hooked!
Fracture Fates is only 40 pages long, and is part of a series that will be released gradually. Cece; you've killed me, in all the best ways, but nonetheless killed me. I need to read the rest now! i need to read if the men above are her harem, i need to know what happened after she teamed up with Erik, i need to know everything!!
Have I ever mentioned that I fucking hate...HATE...serials? Worst invention in the history of writing.
I tend to avoid them like the plague as a result. At most, I'll read them after all episodes have been released and an omnibus edition is out of the completed story. At most. (Though usually I won't even then because the story is rarely as coherent as a novel that was written and edited all at once.)
That said, I have been trying to move my entire library/reading history slowly over to GoodReads so I can keep track of everything, and I read this serial (before swearing off the pernicious invention) in 2017 and planned to add it. But I couldn't remember it clearly enough and decided to re-read, since it is so very very short.
As far as serials go, this one is pretty good so far. It starts off with a bang (through that most trite of conventions - an exciting flash-forward, and then the story starts with "two months ago...") with Lena being beaten by someone who is trying to get information about something. Trite or not, it is a fairly solid hook to the story and made me want to find out more.
The story, short as it has been, is interesting. I like the shifter world, and am curious about the characters, even if there is absolutely NO meat on any of the bones thus far. We shall see how it progresses.
(But I am not holding out a lot of hope as, even with all the episodes released to date, there is less than 150 pages in this story...) Sigh
I can honestly say I was completely hooked from the prologue and already sad because I knew the story would be over to soon. I loved the characters and storyline. As much as I loved the start of Lena' s journey I will unfortunately be pouting till until I have book 2.
