This manga is the perfect dose of fluffy cuteness!! Why did I now ever come across this before? What a great breather after some heavy reading. I do not regret giving this a chance at all!! It was hilarious too. Some parts really had me laughing.

This series is sticking cute! Oh my goodness. I didn't think that I was really going to enjoy it, but this one is definitely a series that I will be continuing. In this specific volume, Miyano begins to realize that Sasaki may have feelings for him and he's also trying to figure out whether he has feelings for him or not. Sasaki is trying to adjust to the idea of graduating and leaving Miyano behind. I think that this series just has a certain charm to it that I wasn't necessarily expecting. I absolutely find it hilarious that these two are living out tropes commonly found in BL while also being BL fanboys and not noticing that they're doing it. I definitely recommend check out these series. I'll be diving into volume 3 really soon.

B : Mmm, I dunno about that. There's actually some good stories if you bother to read BL. And the story could only happen as it did because it was BL. And that's what makes it good, so what's the big deal?

After introducing the characters in the previous volume, Sasaki and Miyano Vol. 2 marks a significant progression in the boys' relationship. Sasaki already knows he likes Miyano, but he isn't ready to accept or tell him.
The volume plays with common BL phrases and the cliche "BL lenses." In this volume, there was a lot of debate on seme and uke. BL fans frequently think of bottoms (uke) and tops (seme), and stereotyped characters could fit in. However, this can occasionally influence how they perceive real people, as it does with the characters in the novel.
Sasaki and Miyano Vol. 2 is a pleasant BL narrative that advances the plot in a sensible way. The bond between the two brothers progresses slowly, but the cast is likable enough to make the wait worthwhile. With both of them now dealing with their emotions, I'm looking forward to seeing how things play out in the next volume.

I can't stop smiling!!! I love that bonus track for Hirano and Kagi! I really love Kagi so so much! So thank you!! (Still waiting for volume 3! Screams)
Back to Sasamiya, I love that it is a slow burn. They are taking their time to realize their feelings and whether it will be good or bad for the other one. And Sasaki is so precious whenever he's trying so hard to control himself. Poor guy though, I know it's hard. But you will earn the fruit of your labor, my boy. Soon after, it will be nothing but fluff. And can we talk about Miya's mole? I'll eat it if I could! He's just so cute!!! I want to hug him so much! I love it! I love it! I love it! Moving on to the next voume... please let me see Kagi! I really adore that guy.

NEW FAVORITE SERIES ALERT ⚠️ 😍💜 This obsession continues, I just wish I had the physical copies, I'm reading these volumes on my phone and it's just so good! I'm flying through these, they're just so well written and they made me feel pure happiness when reading! The little romance scenes are just so adorable, I'm breathless every time they happen.

Realmente descubrí este manga porque me enteré de la adaptación que le hicieron (el cual también estoy viendo) pero, como lectura, mi curiosidad fue mucho más allá de solo querer ver el anime y así es como terminé aquí con corazones en los ojos cada vez que leía a este par ♡.♡ ¡Son demasiado lindooos!

Por qué son los tomos tan cortos (solo unas 130 páginas!!!) Este manga es una droga y es que su estructura está superbien así como todo lo que nos cuenta sensei entre sus páginas. Y me encanta que se trate el BL con tanta naturalidad y se muestren tantas facetas de los fans, de los no fans... El extra de Hirano y Kagiura es oro. Kagiura está superenamorado de Hirano. Espero poder leer su manga también. Francia, no me falles.

It's very cute and I love the characters a lot, I just wish they were not talking about seeing people as 'bl' so much because to me that feels a bit like they're fetishizing people. if not for that it would be perfect

This is so cute! And funny too in the way I like best: it's not over the top but instead has little reactions here and there, and the meta jokes about BL.
This volume has Miyano in various states of inner questioning panic as he ponders if Sasaki likes him *that* way and maybe, possibly, perhaps he likes Sasaki too. Poor boy. :D
Sasaki knows way too well he likes Miyano but it's hard to confess... Btw, it's totally extra cute when Sasaki gets all flustered, hehe.
The few girls mentioned or seen are all fujoshi, haha. I like how nonchalant Kuresawa is about his girlfriend being a BL fangirl. :D
All the classmates of both Sasaki's and Miyano's are fun actually and it was really nice to have a bonus chapter about Hirano and his roommate!
Volume 2 was also free of the only problem I had with the first one, i.e. confusing time jumps! No puzzling over in the middle of a scene whether it is past or present anymore.

BL Fangirl Wants Bottom For Boyfriend!
This made me so happy! Like Sasaki is already certain of what he feels for Miyano, even getting feisty if someone else touches Miyano. Meanwhile Miyano is mostly oblivious and thinking about how at least his life isn't a BL story (cackles). Those moments of almost touch damn near destroyed me! But as you see throughout the volume Miyano starts to become more aware of everything and I can't wait for the next volume to see how the relationship shifts further! Also let's not even discuss White Day or I'll need to be resuscitated.
